Hey nice video. Just curious if the ride is velocity sensitive, so you get the bell. And for the metal sound you get the hi hatt controller as another bass drum? Thanks again!
Sure a hell wish you could find and actually video on everything you need to know about this instrument. Rather than someone showcasing how good they are.
Here's a weird question: If I bought a DTX532K but I hate the feel of the cymbal pads, could I buy a few of these cymbal pads and use them with the 532K?
I wonder about the left foot hat,, what could be the sound if play it continiously? is it good sound or not? because some electronic are not good sound when it comes to continous playing the left foot honestly pls i want to hear fair answer tnx... bec i'm interested to this
On the DTX452, is it possible to play something like a Bossa Nova beat where you're using the length of the drumstick across the rim? I've heard that this doesn't quite have a rim zone? Playing Latin rhythms would be important to me, so it would be important to know whether you can actually play that on this kind of drum or whether it's relegated to purely pop and rock rhythms where you're striking more in the centre of the drum head rather than across the whole thing. Also, can you use brushes on these drums for jazz? Thanks
ive just bought one, and yes you can play both rim shots and cross-sticks as well as normal snare hits and ghost notes, due to the 3 drum zone on the snare, if thats what you mean? hope this helps
Really enjoyed your review. I'm about to have mine in a few days and watching this video got me even more hyped 😃
What can you say about this kit now? You became an owner of it year ago?)
As an acoustic drummer I still go with Roland 1K for Practice. This Model for Recording.
those are some sick fills
I love the sounds of those!

Why did you leave out the jazz kit?

How u plug the phone in ??
What is the apps for customize the drum?
On the App Store/ google play just search up “Yamaha DTX402Touch”
DTX 402 or DTX 452K? Which one are you actually reviewing here?????
From what I understood DTX 402 is the module that comes with the DTX 452K
Compared to DTXplorer this is inferior product in every single way. We are quite dissapointed. We dont recommend it.
The presentation would be much better if he talked much slower than this.
Yamaha = Great samples, shitty triggering
Roland = Shit samples, great triggering
😀
