Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic....

Vo-Gus Prospecting I did hear that in the video but it reminded me of finding old channels and gold. In creeks I work you can see gravel deposits in banks where the channel used to be. And I do well in these areas.

A good haul for just penning and yes the over-burden is a burden that strait out the back. You need a two day outer. There are dogs out there that would bring you only wet sticks, no extra hands you know.

Have you ever considered investing in a porta-power system? they are made to hydraulically push dents out of cars but there are a few of the units that would probably help with boulder removal. Although it would add some weight to your carry pack. It might be a good idea to get yourself a small pull wagon to help carry tools.
