      @@VoGusProspecting Glad you like the quote. I can't claim it however I heard it visiting in Sydney from an Aboriginal ex-armed forces bloke 'Sarge' who was homeless but helped a lot of younger street people out. Around 20 years back.
      Last night I did my first comedy set for homeless people, a set about homelessness and mental health. I was a bit worried but had them in tears of laughter. Must do more of that and bring other humanitarian artists on board.

    Hi Chris, I new to your channel and binge watched pretty much all your videos with my hubby, we are also new to prospecting, we have the gold monster and a river sluice, which we tried that out today for the first time in Drummond North, hubby took off with the monster into the mines and around the area and me well after watching your video on the high bankers I thought I’d hit that after the heavy down pour last night, creek was pretty high though, but I found a great spot you normally talk about “high backer” and started digging for test pans up and down that area, set up the sluice, made my mud cake mix and got to work but guess what Chris, I don’t know, I just don’t know how to tell if I have gold, I think I have small bits but then when I squeezed through my fingers it looks it is sandstone as it’s yellow in colour, then there’s lots of other sparkly things in my pan that every time I cleaned out my sluice and tried to pan it, to me with glasses and a magnifying glass I still could not tell, it was driving me crazy, anyway I just brought the concentrate home in the end, which I’ll property stock pile, it was just hard to see if I had anything in that light, I’m so frustrated, I need your help please, can you go to Drummond North panning and see for yourself, is it the lighting, is it something else and if i actually did find gold in that creek, we are planning to go back, I just want to know what I’m doing wrong, plus I don’t even know how to do a clean up. Hmmmm do you do lessons? Cheers Kirstie.

      I saw the results of a friend's friend, using a three inch dredge in some of Ohio's rivers. They were getting no more than a dozen specks of flour gold per hour which is a laughable amount. This was both in the Maumee river and some of the southern Ohio rivers. The amount of lead sinkers and bullets was a much higher value.

    • @tolget4684
      @tolget4684 5 років тому

      Bubba Fudpucker I live near the mouth of the Maumee river and that is what I figured on... nothing. I did read in Fostoria or Dayton (don't recall the exact place) something around 6 ounces had been pulled out. The Maumee, with all the walleye fishing, I can imagine the amount of lead.

    maybe you should go up stream and search for bigger nuggets deep, just an idea

      I have, infact ive made videos of the upstream section. But the gold in this area isnt formed in large nuggets. Its very fine load veins, biggest bits youll get are around 1-2 grams.

    Hey im a recent subscriber and you make really great videos to watch and i have a suggestion on a video. You should make a video on what gemstones you can find at a river or creek that would be a great video to watch as well. #feelthegold

      I dont keep the gems man, i'm not terribly interested in them and im colour blind so it would ultimately be a disaster video lol

    Love this mate and well done! Just curious with private property do you know the owners of the land or just sought permission? I'm in SA the *really tough state*, gold wise, and not sure how to get access to some good spots I think, over here.

    • @VoGusProspecting
      @VoGusProspecting  5 років тому +1

      We know the owners, Literally just go to the front door and tell them what you do. Most people are cool with it,

      @@VoGusProspecting ahh nice you're lucky cos in SA it's like getting blood (gold hehe) from a stone to get permission onto private property 🤞🏼 though and cheers for the reply
