Hi Chris, even though you were suffering from retriggering your PTSD the day before the filming of this video, I have to say you still managed to create another fantastic video ! In some ways the editing and presentation was better than your earlier work - which is by no means of a poor standard. You are very good at what you do and you deserve to be able to sit back with this, let your consciousness absorb this fact and allow yourself to crack a happy smile and enjoy the feeling of warmth that it brings you.

I struggled all day with the filming, but in the end I chose to spend the day enjoying myself with Steve.
This series is slowly taking shape, it will take some time to get everything in want to filming wise but its getting there.

I love the drone footage. It puts the area into perspective to give us a sense of just how large it is. Chris' usual uplifting humour never fails to make me feel happy. Great video even if it's 4 years ago, the content still remains fresh. 🌻

Great work Chris plenty of insightful info for those starting out and a reminder to old hacks that when you hit a creek , sit back and look at the area for pointers to get you on the yella. With your trip thru memory lane .. each time it will get a little easier - it may not seem like it, but it will., Ash Wednesday still bites me on occasion and that was 30+ yrs ago. Nowadays I serve with my local brigade (15 yrs) to help new members respect the beast and recognise the symptoms and triggers of fighting on the front line. Its a demanding career and takes alot of training and mental discipline - for civilains it's harder as the training and support is not there ... keep ya chin up mate, you're doing a great job making the general population aware of this condition and that most keep it to themselves. TRIPLE thumbs up to you on both fronts .

Man, you have nailed it. You are better than the 'Professionals' who put out the 'gold shows', which fill up their videos by going back and showing previous sections of videos to fill out the show. Honest work there Chris, and all the other comments prove it. Well done.

I'm new to prospecting, but came from the fishing side, and when I watch you guys trying to work in flip flops and tennis shoes, etc I'm reminded of how very slippery that is. I'd recommend that you try some wading boots, felt soles with screw in cleats. Very stable when you're moving around in the streambed all day. When buying boots, I take along a pair of Simms neoprene wading booties (they cost more, but they form fit your foot) because most of the time you'll be wearing neoprene booties or neoprene wader booties. You can buy a decent wading boot from Cabellas, etc for $60-100 if you shop around.

5 grams of gold is $250 worth lol that's a ton of money on a begginers kit!
