Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t... - Розваги
Good one sweetie. Ya know when you have gold fever when it starts talking to you, lol
Do my eyes deceive me or is a nugget giving me advice
@@VoGusProspecting lol
Chris has really found his calling, not just prospecting but video editing and presenting a show too. Better then most the crap on TV now days. Most enjoyable to watch.
Thank you, that means a lot to me mate.
chargedfalcon AGREE! A damn sight better than the nonsense that's put on TV.
You had me at the hill in the begining.. Good show brother thank you 😉
Hi Chris, even though you were suffering from retriggering your PTSD the day before the filming of this video, I have to say you still managed to create another fantastic video ! In some ways the editing and presentation was better than your earlier work - which is by no means of a poor standard. You are very good at what you do and you deserve to be able to sit back with this, let your consciousness absorb this fact and allow yourself to crack a happy smile and enjoy the feeling of warmth that it brings you.
I struggled all day with the filming, but in the end I chose to spend the day enjoying myself with Steve.
This series is slowly taking shape, it will take some time to get everything in want to filming wise but its getting there.
LOL that talking nuggy, I loved that. A beautiful day on the creek, thanks for that Chris!
Gold fever symptoms
Nice one Vo-Gus. Lots of energy in that production and some good tips.
I love the drone footage. It puts the area into perspective to give us a sense of just how large it is. Chris' usual uplifting humour never fails to make me feel happy. Great video even if it's 4 years ago, the content still remains fresh. 🌻
As they say "it's not the winning, it's how you play the game" . Great video. Thanks goes out to you and Steve.
Exactly, the journey is more important than the destination
Great work Chris plenty of insightful info for those starting out and a reminder to old hacks that when you hit a creek , sit back and look at the area for pointers to get you on the yella. With your trip thru memory lane .. each time it will get a little easier - it may not seem like it, but it will., Ash Wednesday still bites me on occasion and that was 30+ yrs ago. Nowadays I serve with my local brigade (15 yrs) to help new members respect the beast and recognise the symptoms and triggers of fighting on the front line. Its a demanding career and takes alot of training and mental discipline - for civilains it's harder as the training and support is not there ... keep ya chin up mate, you're doing a great job making the general population aware of this condition and that most keep it to themselves. TRIPLE thumbs up to you on both fronts .
Man, you have nailed it. You are better than the 'Professionals' who put out the 'gold shows', which fill up their videos by going back and showing previous sections of videos to fill out the show. Honest work there Chris, and all the other comments prove it. Well done.
Totally loved the intro liked before even watching it....i feel the same way most days :)
Top video Chris!! One of your best!!
Now that is the kind of creek I like working. There are a few creeks here that are just like that. Nice gold has come from them.
Great video once again Chris! Love the learny bits from yourself and Steve! 🙌
Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and informative commentary. Love to see you and Steve get some color. See you on your next video.
Killer video Chris!!! Your videos keep getting better and better. I learn something with every one. Thank you for sharing with us. Peace ✌

Keep up the great work on your vids. Great stuff.
I really enjoy the videos and I have learned quite a lot from them. Im glade I found your channel and keep up the good work
Another solid showing Chris, both production and content! Thank you for your open honesty about your PTSD and the things you struggle with, it's refreshingly human and very needed in our global society. You should see if you can phone in a geology course so you have Steve's insider knowledge to find the gold :)
I dont have the mental space to be dishonest, a good story is always based in truth.
Well done mate you’ve made Friday’s even better now ⚒👍🏻
Another personal reflection I can relate to greatly. Thanks again for sharing another part of your life man.
Glad you enjoyed it

Nice work mate
Hi Chris,
I'm over in good old Blighty, Saturday morning right now. Thanks for making me smile pal, I've been following your show for a while and look forward to viewing each time I get that ping telling me you've just posted. I'm amazed at your enthusiasm.... but it seems that there's not much gold left in those creaks!! Is there a better place you could take us?
Thanks pal.
There is lots of gold left here mate, like I said in the video you won't always hit it but when you do its good.
another great video
mint. and great title it caught my 👀
I gave up a while ago on him Adam lol.. LBPA 4 life, miners looking out for miners brotha!
@@californiamotherlodeprospect flying out the 20th we can have the first west coast LBPA flip meeting . ill be in touch maybe you can come out with "jc and I.
Awesome!
Chris an Steve , human excavators !
Nice work boys
Steves back looked sore at the end.
Both our backs were not so good
i like the skits you do
Super Informative. Most Green horns never think of what the river is like other then what they see today. Rivers meander and change course from time to time. A ten foot tall boulder 60 ft from water could have been in the river at one time.
Awesome video
cracking intro Chris , great company and results again. gotta love that jerky, but , like you say some ain't so nice. didn't know you could get roo jerky as well. If pan at 16.00 is from that little crevice then your doing really well today.
Too jerky is quite nice. That was from the one crevice, best gold of the day
great video. looks like hard work moving all those rocks. Heavy pans! peace
It really is! But luckily we're buff as lol
Nice one mate
Yes hard finding old yellow in a smashed area lol
But as u say keep an eye out ouch lol
You have nice mates to come along with you
Who can help make you feel good when your not

It’s a cool spot lots of phelspar eh
Any way have a gander as I found your shotty pellets lol in a crevice
I dive in this river all the time not many above water crevices

Steve is pretty cool
HAHAHAHAHA... Great Intro!!!!
Let's go prospecting!
Thanks man, It was fun to make
Nice looking place there
Great intro
Another great vid Chris. How far out of town was your spot, looks familiar.
Pretty much as far out of town as you can get
I have learned the truth of "mining adaptability" such truth. Have to love the challenge
wouldn't be any fun without a challenge
@@VoGusProspecting absolutely dude
The production value on your videos are insane. Very nice
Haha thanks mate, bit of a passion of mine. Although to be honest I really want to get better at it.
@@VoGusProspecting keep up the good work. Just came across your channel the other day and have been watching since. Love what you do man 😊
I'm new to prospecting, but came from the fishing side, and when I watch you guys trying to work in flip flops and tennis shoes, etc I'm reminded of how very slippery that is. I'd recommend that you try some wading boots, felt soles with screw in cleats. Very stable when you're moving around in the streambed all day. When buying boots, I take along a pair of Simms neoprene wading booties (they cost more, but they form fit your foot) because most of the time you'll be wearing neoprene booties or neoprene wader booties. You can buy a decent wading boot from Cabellas, etc for $60-100 if you shop around.
I've actually got a pair man! I just have not yet taken them out!
great Vid, THANKS
No worries
Went panning yesterday and I found nothing if I had a sluice it would help that reminds me you should do a beginners gold prospecting giving which would include 5 grams of gold a pan, classifier, sluice, and snuffer it would help all the inspired people like me.
5 grams of gold is $250 worth lol that's a ton of money on a begginers kit!
Sluicing won't help if the ground isn't producing, a few videos ago I pulled 2 grams just panning. Its all about the spot not the gear.
I have had days talking to Bob the shadow man... a nugget would be a good change lol
I like chicken nuggets
Rastaman Ralph says Steve seems to like his pipe 😀
His phone is broken again 😱
As always love your video and love that you added Mr Grizzly
Hey budy.best regards from far far away.please tell me why would u choose the croc before a sluice or a high banker
glad to hear some one call it tin and not black sand yanky word lol
Great video. Thank you. Picked up a nice smokey from that creek many years ago. How high is the creek during winter?
Depends on the rain, its either 20 foot deep or hardly running
@@VoGusProspecting Thanks. Have not been there during the cooler months, which is why I asked. Might wait until late spring - not point driving 4 hours only to find it running a banker.

Chris, have you ever considered while moving large rocks, to place them in a way that creates a low-pressure drop out zone?
No, mostly because any rock I can move will be tossed like paper by the floods that move gold.
Great video mate, where can I buy a sluice box like that.
You can't, they went out of business. Search fluid bed sluices and there's a few other brands out there that make them
Steve is very charming. Sorry, but he is. Good video, thanks for that subject.
Any advice for a newbie like me anyone. Should I be wet classifying for my Dream mat sluice. I noticed Chris has some big stuff going over them grizzlys...Croc vs Dream mat ???Thanx...
You don't have to classify for dream mat. I've found it makes little difference
I expected 250 people at the end of the video , but Steve must have send the wrong smoke signal , they all went to the pup, cheers
Not sure I even know 250 people lol
Wise man says, "Do not leave gold to find gold"
But a wise man also knows when to walk away from a bad spot.
Hi
You should do an intro with a tiny nugget screaming "Find meee" and then running off. 😜
P.s., good job!!
I want to try to do that
shouuuuuuuuuuu
Chris do you find that prospecting helps when you’re having a difficult day handling your ptsd and anxiety?
If I'm filming, no. If I'm not filming, yes.
Vo-Gus Prospecting
I ask because I’ve personally been dealing with a lot of anxiety and have contemplated starting my own videos but there are days where it gets the better of me. Good on you sir for showing and pointing it out to the rest of your viewers. Besides digging, what other things do you do that seem to help you cope?
I've slept under that bridge :)
That would of been cold!
Had a good swag and sleeping bag.
04:41 Your guest almost sink into it.
Haha, I never noticed that!
CRACK SCRATCH'N!! WOO! =D looks like the weather was fantastic mmmm.
Crack Scratcher, get your crack scratcher!
