Seeing those shots you did of the models on the motion control stage brings back so many memories of those days for me. Its so good I can almost smell the paint fumes and feel the heat of the stage lights. I wish we were still building miniatures and shooting them. It was such a magical time.
These designs are just GORGEOUS, and, now all part of my head canon. Immediate inspiration watching this. I see so many different elements in your designs, the attention to detail is incredible. And that’s not even mentioning the animation! Everything feels a perfect fit in the galaxy far far away. My personal favorites are the TIEs, those purple/red-ish fighters with the nacelles (they remind me of an N-1 crossed with a P-38 Lightning and Ketsu’s ship from Rebels), and the corvettes. Look forward to seeing more!
Awesome work! I love the level of detail you put in your models. This definitely shows what Blender is capable of 🙂 And Scott Buckley fits also really well 👍
Wow! These designs are great and the cinematography is good. You really nailed the Star Wars design language. I love all the mechanical elements and round shapes. Everything looks functional and broken-in.
Dude! this NEEDS to be made into a full length "obligatory Star Wars knockoff movie" it's that good. And if you did it right, which shouldn't be too hard if these test shots are anything to go by, you'd probably show hollywood a thing or two!
@@technouveau_art Easy or not, my advice would be to at least try, maybe make a few more test shots, maybe with live actors, and then put together something for kickstarter, then go from there.
@@technouveau_art Darn, well keep the idea in mind, I know for a fact that hollywood needs to be taught a lesson on what makes a good space opera, and I think you might just have the potential skills to make one.
Now if only Disney could figure out how to design ships like this... For being works of CGI there is a kit-bashed charm here I haven't felt since the OG trillogy
@@theoturner1137 Hahaha. But seriously, EC and Angelos just made a new thing and are continually pumping out new stuff. Very very productive bunch and they have recently transitioned to doing more more video scenes as well. Get the hell outta here!
@technouveau_art EC Henry and Angelos are doing awesome work. I would love a reaction video from EC Henry on your video. I'm sure he would only have good things to say about it.
It’s a High Crime against The Empire that this video does not have more views. From a writer and editor of West End Games & Decipher @Technouveau - as Thrawn last words would have put it, this was so Artistically done. Bravo
1. A short movie that tops anything Star Wars Diznuts could come up with. 2. Even the behind the scenes with that "studio with the bluescreen" it's all CG. 3. I came.
