@ There are a lot of other Star Wars UA-camrs who only seem to focus on negativity and try and gate keep the fandom. Unlike Netanerdz who only focuses on lore.
I just love the gozanti and I hate how disputed its size is. I've seen it compared side by side to a LAAT/i where you'd put it at around 80m while some sources put it at about a millennium falcon. I believe the 64m is already quite lowballed because if it should have 3 decks the length to height ratio wouldn't make sense.
🤔 . . . Unfortunately, the slowest ship I’ve ever heard of was the Bespin blimp. Its is what it sounds like, requiring peddling a pedal bike to spin some fans that made it go. It was predominantly used by gas prospectors over Bespin & such…
The early imperial Gozantis also could mount conccussion missiles and possibly even assault concs (capital grade) in the X-Wing and Armada tabletop games. Also there's a version with railguns in a marvel comic that somehow do more damage than the ISD Heavy turbos did in Rebels (Man, I hated how bad the effects shots were for that bombardment)
You gotta think about how long the Gozanti has been around compared to the X-Wing. They've already made back any money they put into R&D and profited off of it by the time the X-Wing has come around.
11:20 That doesn't make any damned sense. The Gozantis are far more vulnerable, having to extend shields all around their cargos. One line in the Battlefront Tie-in novel for the disney canon threw out the Thetas and made the bulky armored and shielded Titans into flimsy things Veers was too afraid to use.
Gozantis are pretty cool. I'm glad LEGO made one for Rebels, with the 4 TIE fighters attached. I rewatched The Phantom Menace a few weeks ago, and spotted the Gozanti for the 1st time.
"Promote actual lore over drama" I love your lore mindset man, and the channel as well. I'm 7+ years in watching SW lore on YT, and you and Gen Tech both do it so, so right. Love supporting your work (and then seeing my friends' faces when they ask about a ship and I regurgitate one of your videos on the spot) 😂 keep up the good work, we love it! 🤙
Battlefront 2 is my favorite story game of Star Wars other than Republic Commandos. They allow you to start as Empire special forces and then turn to being the good guys, you get a cool personal droid.
I love your breakdowns of star wars vehicles! But i think you missed a variant in this instance. The Gozanti Armed Transport that appeared in TROS and Outlaws.
Me I like the idea that someone replaced the side cargo capacity of a C-ROC Cruiser, with a lot of missiles. Or perhaps adding "2 DBY-827 heavy turbolaser turret's" one to each wing, perhaps taken from a salvaged crashed Venator-class Star Destroyer.
I think that corvette is the name of the class and not a ship classification itself, similar to the Rocinante in The Expanse. Rocinante is a Corvette-class frigate, primarily meant to shield against torpedoes, but could still hold her own against cruisers that had more firepower.
I feel like the Imperial variant could have easily kept the additional smaller laser cannons by mounting a pair of them sideways on airlock-like tubes that would be built onto the wingtips while another pair would be retractable and mounted on the sides of the main hull, with another one on the ventral tail section and another somewhere along the ventral spine. There would also be a pair of the larger turrets which could be light turbolasers like those on the assault carrier variant (and in the same positions). This way the ship would have point defense capabilities that would allow for the best (or close to the best) possible firing arcs, while also having those two light turbolaser turrets to be adequate against larger threats. Another option would be to switch positions of the pair of retractable upper hull turrets and put them on articulated pods that are built into the side sections, somewhere along n the middle so they don't get in the way of the fighter/walker ventral carrying clamps. These articulated pods would allow the turrets to rotate 180° vertically, so they could fire above, below, or to the sides of the ship relative to the ship's axis.
There was also the Gozanti Armed Transport that appears in ROS, looks rather different but I assume that’s after another 25 years of modifications following the last one we see in the Mandalorian.
Look up the GUPPY (modified WW2 Tench class during the Cold War) Radar Pickets, later on replaced by the SAILFISH Radar Pickets, and later on AWACS Aircraft.
I would definitely choose the CROC. U will always be outgunned which is why shields, speed and their commonality made it an ideal ship for freedom fighting
5:36 200k Credits, damn - thats quite cheap. I would buy a whole Fleet of them & replace the Tie Fighters with Tie Defenders. That would be a deadly Combo. 😊
14:27 That front structure feels very Ubrikkian, but Ubrikkian is usually a Kuat subsidiary, not a CEC-Affiliate. (Then again that's old EU, maybe it's more a free agent in the nucanon)
IF there’s ever a new special edition for A New Hope I *hope* that they put in a Gozabti class or Arquitens class to tie together the original trilogy with Rebels
If i had a ship in star wars that and an imperial shuttle would be part of my fleet. You xan heavily modify them and the shuttle can be modified as an escape ship if needed.
Day 1 of asking for a TIE striker breakdown. Never thought I'd do something like this but I saw that he made a (fairly inaccurate) video on the TIE reaper so
I still think that it's stupid that it can carry 2 AT-AT Specially when (at least on legends or games I think) there is an super heavy transport for carrying ONE AT-AT
At Minute 4:30 its not "Legos", the LEGO GROUP aswell as the word LEGO is not a term/generic term for these bricks. In Germany we call them Klemmbausteine and in Englisch you should call them stick-bricks. You dont want the LEGO GROUP Lawyers handing you some papers to stop calling em "legos". This exact thing did happen with the Held der Steine Inhaber Thomas Panke (the biggest Stick brick youtuber in the German Speaking Area), who had to Deal with it. Just be safe out there, mkay? (Its the same thing with Google not wanting that you say that you Google something, but rather searched something with google) May the yogurt be with you
I never liked it. They had the chance to create all these cool different ships that could be used and instead used a ship as a multi role vessel that got destroyed on a weekly basis. It was just disappointing. I wanted to see more transports like the one Chopper stole, or the Titan drop Ship for AT-AT's. I wanted variety so I could get more videos... love ship videos.
I hate the use of Gozantis as full orbit to surface AT-AT dropships, having to extend their particle shield bubble that far seems like a massive weakness when you can just have a dedicated dropship like the Theta-class AT-AT barge, Imperial Action (Rogue squadron 3), or even the big quad At-At Titan dropship
Lets see the gozanti is only seen in the shows as compatible with empire units attached to the frame whereas the acclamator can fit into many more roles than the gozanti and do planetary landings and invasions on the ground like seen in attack of the clones
I liked your video cause it's cool but I am on Starwars Theory's side with the drama and Disney has killed Star Wars. Only the old stuff and Mando have been good. everything else is crap. I am sorry you do not have a backbone to have an opinion.
The gozanti is the Toyota truck of star wars. Built to last, versatile, used by rebels and militaries alike
As well as having civilian variants alongside military ones, plus easily customizable
@@Zombotron5678true, and made by a civilian company too

@@AhmedHussain-ju6xd George would be proud of the real life connection 😂
That's a really good way to put it
Thrawn Added 2 engines , 2 more quad laser turrets and using 6 tie interceptors or 6 tie defenders to his Gozanti variant : excellent 👌🏻
The shot of that Gozanti in the first clip is just so beautiful ❤️
finally the video about gozanti is out!
Thank you for this! I always said that if I was a smuggler in the Star Wars Galaxy… this would be my ship and home! This ship is my favorite.
Absolutely love the Gozanti-class
Man, I love the gozanti and other smaller imperial ships, theyre just so cool and pretty underrated
Yes! Actual lore over drama!! 🙌🏽
What kind of drama?

I love this channel! Lets me nerd out for 20-30 minute intervals.

The CROC Gozanti is my favorite ship in Star Wars! The Corsair refit just makes the ship seem perfect!
The gozanti is truly a interesting ship

If you haven't already, I'd like to see a video explaining all T.I.E fighter variants.
0:51 crazy how expensive an Xwing is, or how cheap a Gozanti is.
You gotta think about how long the Gozanti has been around compared to the X-Wing. They've already made back any money they put into R&D and profited off of it by the time the X-Wing has come around.
Literally my fav sw ship.
Mine too.

The Imperial Gozanti is one of my all time Favorites!
A Croc with some of the cargo pods full of tri fighters seems pretty decent.
I love the Gozanti!
0:16 that right there is the reason this is the last Star Wars sub im subscribed to 😂
Gozanti represent! One of my faves, in a galaxy of options. Good Stuff all around!
Gozantis are pretty cool. I'm glad LEGO made one for Rebels, with the 4 TIE fighters attached.

I love this ship, it is like the Junkers Ju-52 of starwars.
New 🛟 space lifeboat escape pod with engines snd ropes to tie cargo behind enters the market
Empire : slaps 💳 card aggressively
Me I like the idea that someone replaced the side cargo capacity of a C-ROC Cruiser, with a lot of missiles.
Or perhaps adding "2 DBY-827 heavy turbolaser turret's" one to each wing, perhaps taken from a salvaged crashed Venator-class Star Destroyer.
I think the former is more likely as the latter might be too power hungry for a ship that size
Though I could be wrong
Missiles certainly Heavy Turbos? You could maybe fit one toe each wing, but you'd need to replace most of the interior with extra reactors and fuel.
@DIEGhostfish yeah, something like what is on the CR90 would be more doable but not the big big ones
I suggest to turn the cargo area simillar to an AC-130 gunship
Now Imagine the CR90 being the Rebels ship for a Gozanti
I had NO IDEA the the Corellian Corvette is BIGGER than a Gozanti Cruiser. Traditionally, in blue water navies, a corvette is smaller than a cruiser.
Even in a lot of the shots the Gozanti looks way bigger than the corvette
I think that corvette is the name of the class and not a ship classification itself, similar to the Rocinante in The Expanse. Rocinante is a Corvette-class frigate, primarily meant to shield against torpedoes, but could still hold her own against cruisers that had more firepower.

Most of the non-imperial ones are already retractable .

The Gonzanti is a decent ship. I would love to serve on board one, not that i'll end up in the Star Wars universe.
I like the dish king variant, it's like an Imperial AWACS
Look up the GUPPY (modified WW2 Tench class during the Cold War) Radar Pickets, later on replaced by the SAILFISH Radar Pickets, and later on AWACS Aircraft.

Thrawn would have loved this ship.
Good breakdown, I'm willing to compromise on the Grandmaster K'Kruhk complete life if you do a Whiphid species video.
Day 1 of asking for a TIE striker breakdown.
Never thought I'd do something like this but I saw that he made a (fairly inaccurate) video on the TIE reaper so
If I was a pirate in the Star wars universe I would use an imperial style gazanti class cruiser all be it 10 m longer and extremely modified
Imagine if the empire used these fighters instead of tie fighter how much better their military would be
I would wonder if they have some gunship variant like AC130 in SW
0:47 is someone hanging under the Gozanti passing by?
Quasar Fire is capable of moving at a speed of 250 km/h.
Lore > Drama
"Legos" hurts my soul.
What show is that opening shot from?!
Hello
Can you do a break down the corvis from battlefront?
Plz
I still think that it's stupid that it can carry 2 AT-AT
Specially when (at least on legends or games I think) there is an super heavy transport for carrying ONE AT-AT
I thought the AT Hauler was slower at 125 km/h
Imma be honest
I think using the Gozontis is worse for the Hoth battle as that just means the AT ATs are more exposed compare to the other transport
It's the Corellian Hilux
The AT-Hauler in Solo is slower (;

Never called them Legos. Always say they are compatible with Legos. And they are I own a bunch.
@MetaNerdzLore zhen I missheard and am sorry for zhat.
The versions that can transport 2 AT-ATs at once could carry a heck of a lot of cargo in external cargo pods.
Anybody know how much an AT-AT weighs?

No the acclamator is the most versatile ship
