I just recently started dating a girl with quiet BPD. Your channel really is invaluable as the partner :) I'm someone with treated ADHD and I was worried but it's working surprisingly well. If you have adhd and have your emotions under control and have other "dopamine hits" then the massive amount of attention and affection you get from someone with BPD is really amazing. In turn adhd makes you just as obsessed with them so the constant reassuring and communicating isn't really a problem we're "clingy/needy" by nature too haha. ADHD makes you really enjoy lots of attention and external validation which I'm finding we get in spades if you can keep your emotions separate from them ie when they are depressed you can stay happy and positive for them :D

I’m so glad you have each other! My partner told me like only a year or two in our relationship that he thinks I have BPD. I thought he meant I was bipolar. I was hurt that he thought something was wrong with me at first but then I started to realize it was true and over the last 11 years of us being together I’ve had to work on it completely alone. It’s so hard to advocate for yourself sometimes and I’ve had to -fight- for reassurance. I went through a lot of toxic people and relationships to get to this point and it’s so nice to see you as the face for us basically, living your best life and answering these questions. THANK YOU! So good to not be alone.

Just watched your interview on Anthony Padilla's channel and was immediately a fan of you! My big sister got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago. She's my best friend but it can be hard to understand her reactions and thought process sometimes.. I just binged a couple of your videos and they are super helpful to making me understand BPD better! Thank you so much for sharing and teaching about living with BPD! My sister isn't in a place right now where she can help me learn about it, so I really appreciate it ❤

Being vulnerable is hard bc you feel like it will be used against you. And this has happened to me many times. Also parents that never validated ur emotions.

sammy! i’ve commented before and have been watching you for years. i live with BPD and work in mental health - i can always relate to you so much! my partner watched this video too! a lot of these things we are doing ( thanks to couples counseling) and its takes practice and work!!!!!! i appreciate you both also making a point to say it’s not just on the person with BPD to get support and to make changes. it’s on both people 🖤

This was great sn lots of useful advice! Thank you both. Finding a strong minded person these days seems so rare. Everybody runs instead of trying to come to a a happy medium that respects one anothers feelings and emotions.
