I bought the miccus sr 71 head phones from Amazon. The exact units sold with Minelab before the minelab name got put on them. 1/2 the price. I could not be more pleased... No delay whatsoever...
Me too, 2 yrs. No problems. Pretty tough too, dropped on to paved drive couple times, work fine. Charge slot quicker than equinox too.
Hey Steve I found this video of yours after my ML Headset button broke and I needed help finding if another headset will work. I have an Ankar Brand Headset that also paired up with the ML800. I have a Bose Headset as well. You saved my dig day for tomorrow through this video and me discovering another headset I have that works.....thanks buddy.

Thank you this helped. I was not giving the system enough time to connect and just giving up. Now I got it to work. Seeded hunt is next week and I am going to use the headset so that I don’t disturb other hunters

you can also tell the minelab wireless headphones are on or off by the blue and red lights on the side of the ear cups

Other headphones must have APTX technology in order to pair with the detector
The + symbol I think means it recognizes aptx technology. Not sure though

I bought a pair of headphones from other company and it was giving my detector lots of interference and making it to act out. I’ll try buying the ones from minelab to see it eliminates the problem.

What is the purpose of the WM08 Module? Paired my headphones without the Module….easy peasy.

You can use it with non bluetooth headphones.

Thanks Gig. I use an inexpensive pair of wireless headphones made by Soundpeats. They sound great and charge lasts for about 6 hours. One thing everyone probably knows but I'll mention is that the Bluetooth function DOES NOT WORK under water. Blue tooth won't travel thru water. So as long as you don't submerge the computer (the thing with all the controls 😁) beneath the water, it works just fine on blue tooth. Anyway, thx for the video

Had just watched your video on (Equinox Field Set Up and Gigtips!) is that still how you set it up or do you now have a better way?
Pretty much I may vary the sensitivity and recovery speed in some situations. Playing with 5 tone vs 50 tone.
So what is the point of the module. I dont understand the benefit at all.
If u only have wired headphones why not just plug it into the machine?

So you dont have wires going to your ear.
The module will allow you to be untethered to the detector giving you the freedom of being wireless. Having headphones wired directly to the detector is a pain in the butt. I have some wired headphones that I like because they seal around the ears blocking out the wind and other noises better than the ml80. So the module is a great option for me to give me the wireless freedom for wired headphones.
Why we're on the subject of Bluetooth just wondering if you can make a suggestion on what ear buds with ear hooks to keep them in that will work on my EQ 800 it would help to keep it a little COOLER when it gets hot thanks for your help and really enjoy your videos i look for them EVER DAY 1954STREETROD east tn

Does anyone know how to pair the Headphones to Equinox and cell phone at the same time?
They have to be low latency to work properly so you don’t get a bad delay...
Troubleshooting - If your phone is nearby, turn bluetooth off. Had Gigmaster video on phone 2 foot from Nox 800 and could not pair Beats Earhangers. Problem was I was successful and hour ago pairing them. Screwed around with a bunch a Bluetooth listening devices and decided to stick with the beats and they would not pair a 2nd time and it turned out to be because of my phone interfering. Once I turned Bluetooth off from Note 10+ everything paired great.

These headphones are complete garbage on and off push button broke un-repairable had to dump them bought a pair of Technics far more superior build and quality for less than a pair of Minelab headphones at a £140.....
