I love how New York State Of Mind is already an amazing song, but this live performance really captures the humor in this form of flattery for Ray Charles. Thanks for this concert!
The cool thing about Musikladen was that West German TV reached well into the GDR (except notably Dresden) as well as into Czechoslovakia and, thanks to transmitters in West Berlin, Poland. So a lot of people got to see these broadcasts in places where these artists’ recordings were otherwise unavailable
These video bootlegs have been a real treat,I'm a Big fan of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger, Billy's music and live performances is on an equal level. Legendary.
This performance of only the good die young is my all time favourite. The piano in those chorus sections is so perfectly added, it makes me feel nostalgic. Thanks for uploading this😊
Ok - gonna throw it out there - New York 2014/ some random bar - kids went crazy when ‘only the good die young’ came on the airwaves- I will alway remember that moment xx
I will Buy this concert on DVD when I commute to 'Best Buy' to purchase more CD, DVDS, Music accesories before the Holidays and My Birthday in January! Shout out to all the Capricorns!
It’s so wild how he kinda prophesied 9/11 even though the date predicted was 16 years too late. But it definitely hits different after 9/11. And I’m also glad I got to see him play this song in 2017. And I will take that to the grave with me as a really cool thing I’ll never forget.
In 1988 Bob Dylan got raked over the coals for doing shows this short (longer, actually), but somehow a 43-minute show from Joel resulted in no such blowback . I don't fault Joel for playing a short show. My issue is with the double standard.

This whole band is murdering right here. Wow.
Doug Stegmeyer monster bassist
Smoking in a TV show, these were times.😅 Great concert!
I generally don't love Travelin' Prayer without the Banjo, but this is best version w/the sax I've ever heard. Great find! Thank you
The same.
What an amazing show. I was two months in my mother's womb when performed this ❤😮

Richie Cannata is awesome.
1978 was his peak
how can you say that. He surpassed the 70s with even more genious songs.
Billy Joel was amazing job
Speaking of the Billy Joel band , this is the line−up.
Including David Brown.

so in conclusion, as stated in description, IS THIS UPLOAD OF THE COMPLETE GIG???
Track listing is wrong too. Miami 2017? Are you nuts?
Killer performance but Billy is straight tweaking here
Terrible sound.
