If you don’t plan to take the dual wielding feat, picking human or half elf for shield proficiency is a great option. The extra AC is nice and there are some shields with great bonuses to things like initiative, spell attacks/DC and saving throws
Is Eldritch blast worth no 3rd feat and no level 6 spells? Im currently pure warlock in act 3 and honestly I've been bored with doing the same cantrip over and over again.
I believe so. The 6th level spells in bg3 are kinda mid imo. Being pure warlock is super boring too. Spice it up with some multiclass. The lifedrain invocation is neat, but you can get the same result as a 5 Lock / 7 Oathbreaker paladin and have a lot more neat things to do (and deal the same amount of damage if not way more thanks to your hateful aura, your smites, and all your other goodies. Oh yeah. AND HEAVY ARMOR!
Alright guys you've convinced me into wanting to respec into something a bit spicier, but I just want to know something. I've sold most of the early game (act 1 and 2) gear to vendors I now obviously no longer have access too. Have I lost access to required gear or do you think I'll be okay with what I can find in act 3?
For Durg I guess you need to do some extra steps to do this build - as without some metagameing Alfira will.. well not be your friend and you will not get the CHA robe...

@@deyfre4750 You can still do it. Just attack the bard in the grove with non-lethal attacks, then leave the grove (you have to at least reach the bridge iirc) and go rest.

Yeah, also going a 2 level dip into fighter for Surge and shield prof isn't a bad thing.

Tbh I love a mix of sorcerer warlock that has more warlock in it, it’s more fun. Otherwise full sorcerer just offers more

Yeah that’s the only problem playing Warlock it’s hard to do something different with their lack of spell slots
Yeah, if I'm not going to get level 6 spells, I'd rather go lock 4/sorc 8. Otherwise I'm going Palalock.

Whichever you prefer. I’d personally do 9 or 10 sorc and 2 lock. And you get put that extra level into something else like fighter if you’d like

Yeah you can get it but only if you take the right steps and get lucky on your long rest
Warlock 5 is good simply because hunger of Hadar is just…absurd.
