I saw Maggie a time or 2 when she was opening for Home Free. Her career has since taken off and I'm so happy for her, she really has a beautiful country voice.
Every part of their journey is extremely important and significant to Home Free and is to be celebrated. Their respect for all the groups they interact with is paying off in mega-dividends back to them. They are very intentional with their respect and are extremely humble. They look for the good in others on purpose. They look to collaborate not only with established stars but make opportunities with new rising talented artists as others have done for them. They are what is right for this industry that makes us all fall in love with them individually and collectively as Home Free!!!! They with their leadership are bringing us all along for the ride for the right reasons. Long Live Home Free!!!! ❣

Maggie has such a beautiful voice.
She’s actually so funny like the guys.
She surprised them at one of their concerts. When they were doing the Sea Shanty she run on stage dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. She also bought a bunch of nerf guns and surprised them with a nerf gun fight back stage 😂
Maggie opened in April 2023 in Clearwater, FL, with Home Free. This time she played guitar. She’s a great entertainer-just getting her feet wet. And the guys did sing one song with her. I heard some whispers because she was playing the guitar, but some aren’t geared towards a cappella. She’s a lovely young lady and they all did a great job! This is such a comforting song. I could hear in your comments how taken you were with the story. This song was a scene in the movie A Joyful Noise, where Dolly’s character was reminiscing about her recently passed husband. And I found it to be one of those feel-good movies. I know, blah, blah, blah! Great reaction today on a wonderful Happy Home FrYday 🍟 I’m enjoying the sunshine today! 🎶 Cyd

This is really beautiful and sweet!! Home Free and Maggi Baugh what a great combination. Really so wonderful.
What I find so beautiful is when you have your headphones on, you recognize all the great voices separately, even though they sing in such awesome harmony.
Really beautiful lead, but also the background vocal which gives it such a feel-good feeling. Each voice gives a certain value to the song. The vocal percussion is so good, not to mention the violin playing. Everything is perfect.
The video reminds me of my oldest child/daughter. She also had a stuffed animal from birth. Now she's 35 and she still has that stuffed animal. Those memories brought me a tear when I heard this song. How time flies when I look at my four children. All four grown up. My loves whom I love so much. From here to the moon and back!
This is a favorite. Love Tim's lead at beginning. His voice is so very clear and good in that register. And, I tend to forget that while Tim is singing lead, Chance is holding down bass.
I so look forward to and enjoy Home Frydays. ❤

What a beautiful song. Home Free did a great rendition. This one gets me in the feels. Nice to be introduced to another country talent in Maggie Baugh. She has a really nice voice & enjoy her playing the violin/fiddle. The guys are great about sharing the spotlight with other artists. Dolly Parton originally recorded & performed this song with Kris Kristofferson in the 2012 movie "Joyful Noise". The following year, she re-recorded the tune with Willie Nelson.
My daughter had a stuffed “animal”, one of the characters from Where the Wild Things Are. She took that and her blankie when she went off to college and I thought that was so sweet. Most of us need a little comfort and connection to home when making that transition to a bigger world.
I love this song, and Tim’s lead is so soft and sweet. What a great video also! ❤

Maggie traveled with the boys for the full west coast swing in, I think, 2022. They had guest/warm-up on the full tour and the holiday tour that year. Maggie joined them again on the big holiday wrap-up show at the Ryman which was sadly postponed by weather until after the holidays. I'm not sure why they, pretty much, stopped doing guests after those tours. I imagine logistics were a pain to coordinate.
Maggie was a blast with them as well as very talented. She did some travel vlogs from the tour that were great and the "end of tour prank" she pulled is hilarious.
Have you seen any of the videos from that tour where Tim and Austin come out to join her for a song? I don't know if they always did Forever and Ever, Amen or not. Austin said once that she did 80s-90s country a lot in her warm ups and "no one knows 80s and 90s country better than Tim and I" so they had a regular surprise for the audiences.

Y'all need to check out Home Free's cover of "The Horses" with a coupla Aussies. They recorded it when they did a music fest in Australia.
There's also a live video of them singing "Delta Dawn" with Maggie Baugh. Her singing and violin playing is terrific. One of the (many) things I love about HF is the exposure they give to other artists (check out Willie Jones & HF "Go Low, Go High") - always highlighting the artist. It's kind, generous and so them.

Really sweet song. Dolly is an incredible songwriter with over 3000 songs to her credit. I did like stuffed animals instead of dolls so I had a bear but he’s long gone by now although I still have some critters out and about. The video was so well done with the big moon. Loved Tim’s lead. Maggie sounded great although real country. 😍😄
I was checking something out, and I happened to hear you comment about Chance. When I hear the 3-part harmonies, I do hear him. If he didn’t sing the lower notes in the harmony, I think you would hear the difference. They all blend so well. All done. 🎶 Cyd

Thought you 2 would be dancing by now! She was with the guys on their holiday tour in 2022, saw her in Brookings, Fargo and Mankato along with Texas Hill.
The baritone is the glue and is the hardest to hear within harmonies. It helps the highs and lows stand out.
Jeremy, thanks for pointing out the panning stuff. I enjoy picking that up when headphones listening to music. Teddy bear story - my daughter, now 50, got one when she was five, named him after a professional hockey player, still has that bear. That bear has gone to Ireland, Germany, college, etc. Loved to this day! ❤️

Love the story of PotRoast! My teddy (his name is Beau) is one I for myself after a divorce, and he still sits on my bed! The song is stunning and it will be going onto my MoonSongs playlist! ❤🎶
That song was written by Dolly Parton for the movie Joyful Noise. In the movie she sings it with Kris Kristofferson who was her husband. It is an absolutely beautiful song for sure. If you get a chance you may want to check out the movie. Brooke has an amazing voice and she sounds so nice with the guys. I really enjoy watching your reactions to this song.

I agree Jer...Chance has that unique voice that is not overly present in the mix but if it's not there you would then notice the "hole" in the blend. (Look at me trying to take your job Jeremy - LOL!)
His voice is a perfect vocal fill - and that's hard for sure to duplicate. I so look forward to your HF Fridays - it really starts my weekends off with a BANG!

I'm not a stuffy person either. But I brought a stuffed bear back from Germany because I was sad about coming back and leaving my friends and colleagues.
