Bro...the female singer is Maggie Baugh. Still kind of new in Nashville but man is she good. She was a classical violinist growing up which is why she's so fire on the strings. She is going on the western US leg of their upcoming tour with them. Just an amazing artist and person.

Such a tender and sweet song with the perfect storyline to match. Tim draws us in right away, so clear and concise. Then, as always, Home Free gives their guest the spotlight and her chance to shine, both vocally and with her fiddle/ violin. That leads to Austin dropping in from the heavens. And Adam, Chance, and Rob tie everything together beautifully. You aren't the only one that has said that Home Free is the group that gets them to like country music. I'm pretty sure Home Free could get me to listen to just about and like it! Great reaction. Here's hoping that your life settles down. It truly sucks when we go through those stages where death seems to hit us several times in short periods of time. Hugs! ❤
What a beautiful song. Home Free did a great rendition. Nice to be introduced to another country talent in Maggie Baugh. She has a really nice voice & enjoy her playing the violin/fiddle. The guys are great about sharing the spotlight with other artists. Dolly Parton originally recorded & performed this song with Kris Kristofferson in the 2012 movie "Joyful Noise". The following year, she re-recorded the tune with Willie Nelson.

Since Chance has been a part of the group and able to hold down the base line Tim has been able to use more of his voice. As a group they just keep getting better. And they give so much respect to the artists they feature on their videos.

I have always thought of Home Free as Country fusion. They season their country with a sprinkle of R&B, a dash of Soul, and a pinch of whatever else is in the spice cabinet. ☺

This makes me misty eyed, considering what happened to my favourite Pink Teddy Bear as a Little Girl. I was given it as a baby by my Eldest Sister. I accidentally left Pink Teddy in the backyard overnight. The next day I came across the crime scene, the dog 🐕 had torn her to shreds. The sight of all of that Pink Fur Pile and Stuffing is burnt into my memory. Up to that point it was my biggest childhood trauma. Until something worse happened when I was 6 . My Favourite Big Brother died at 17. He was a silly Teenaged Boy who snuck out of the house to visit a friend one night. His friend had a gun that the Police said would Never Fire. Tragically they were wrong and He accidentally shot Himself in the head. I was devastated.
Most likely that other high harmony is either Rob or Tim. Tim has a 5 octave range and can sing high tenor. If it’s Tim, then Chance is picking up the bass. They are all so versatile!

You know which one of Home Free's songs has a CRAZY arrangement/harmony/vibe? Elvira. They did that with the original group too; The Oak Ridge Boys. And fun little side note; Geoff Castellucci actually arranged that one for them :) So if you have a chance to react to that one, do it!
This is really beautiful and sweet!! Home Free and Maggi Baugh what a great combination. What I find so beautiful is when you have your headphones on, you recognize all the great voices separately, even though they sing in such awesome harmony. Really beautiful lead, but also the background vocal which gives it such a feel-good feeling. Each voice gives a certain value to the song. The vocal percussion is so good, not to mention the violin playing. Everything is perfect.
The video reminds me of my oldest child/daughter. She also had a stuffed animal from birth. Now she's 33 and she still has that stuffed animal. Those memories brought me a tear when I heard this song. How time flies when I look at my four children. All four grown up. My loves whom I love so much. From here to the moon and back!

Love your enthusiasm and insights. This video is so touching and Maggie Baugh's voice and violin playing are so good. I don't know if you've had a chance to see "What's Left of My Heart" (an original by Tim) or Austin's originals "Love Me Like That" and "Lonely Girls World" (both written by him after a hard break-up). Tim and Austin have also now started a side project "Sweet and Low Music Co." along with Chris Chatham, Jeffrey East, another man and Tim's sister-in-law (a violinist) (I'm terrible with names and I'm sorry I can't remember the last two).
I didn't get to go when they were here either, I didn't want to go by myself. Moved from Michigan to Cincy a few years back and don't really know anyone that listens to Home Free. Maybe next year we can both go. That would be epic. Loved your reaction as usual.

Totally agree with the Carrie comparison. She came to my hometown last year and that was the first thing I said when I heard her was she sounded like Carrie. Ive had the opportunity to see her perform several other times since and she just puts on a fantastic show. If she is ever near you, I would highly recommend seeing her!

If you insist on creating a “pidgin hole” called Country to try putting these guys in, ….. we’ll I guess that’s on you, personally, I hear spectacular voices and harmonies, telling a story, that go straight to the emotions every time. You totally missed the Teddy bear meaning..Only have saw two reactions that actually got the Teddy Bear story.
Sometimes I wish that reactors would also look at the story the song is saying because most of the time it makes the song even more beautiful than just the vocals. I'm pretty sure that alot of females will get it but men won't on this song....just my thoughts.
