I bought two bottles of this as I bought a shade too dark, so I bought a lighter shade to mix. I apply a dot of each to both fingers and then mix, and blend into the skin with fingers. It applies very much like a tinted moisturiser rather than a foundation. Not my absolute fave but good for day to day working from home/errands etc

I did see your ig stories and I had appendicitis and oh boy is it ever painful. I had to be hospitalized for 3 days because as I got to the hospital mine ruptured. Now, I live natural foundations and I have a few acne scars. Before I put foundation on I apply a skin toned concealer so I only use what I need from a foundation. This is a new discovery for me and I am so happy that my skin can breathe and I use way less product. Great video! As always I love your brushes! Highly recommend to anyone interested!! I have the wet and wild dewy foundation and I tried it once and did not care for it, however, I am giving it another shot today because I see so many influencers that it looks gorgeous on. I use mac nc30 powder to use to set where I put concealer and it works perfect to add a bit of coverage and brightening aspects.

I currently use It foundation which is ok but does not have lasting power. What are your thoughts on brushes vs beauty blenders. Getting a smooth finish has always been a challenge and I also question if wetting my blender really makes a difference.
When I bought the Charlotte tilbury magic away concealer I immediately removed the sponge and I use it without it. So glad I did because it doesn’t make a mess and I save product. I love that concealer!
I'm so sorry to hear about Paul! I'm glad he's ok. He must have a high pain threshold! My husband is the same way. He doesn't comp!ain, until it gets to the point where he should have gone to the doctor days before! LOL I'm a retired nurse, so it drives me crazy when he waits so long to tell me something is wrong!
I just bought this because Walgreens had it on clearance for 4$ I've been obsessed with it I rarely use something two days in a row this has been all week every day. It's a darker color for me but the undertone is beautiful, but it works there was limited color choice on clearance, it's perfect.

Oh man that would be scary. I'm glad y'all got it taken care of quickly & wish well. I just bought & tried this foundation yesterday. It wore well on me & didn't settle. I used a Rimmel primer & used 1 pump on elf sponge then dotted my cheeks & nose then blended it out. I thought it turned out to be a good foundation. It always amazes me how differently products wear on everyone. I have a friend who usually hates the products I love & vise versa😂 Thanks for the video😘
Not sure if you have and sorry if so, have you reviewed the Pat McGrath foundation? I have it and it surely is amazing truly. Sets down to a natural matte finish and has the coverage you like and I like goes to a medium coverage. Light medium buildable to medium. My new holy grail besides my Charlotte tilbury magic foundation the older one

Lisa, I tried the Revlon Candid glow foundation and I’m really loving it for an everyday on the go kind of look. I’m not really sure I agree that it’s buildable per say, but it is a little more than a tinted moisturizer. I wore it all day and it still looked great. Thanks again.
The same thing happened to my 20 year old son 2 weeks before Christmas! The ER sent him home saying it was just a stomach ache! We were back in a few hours with an appendix about to burst! It was awful. Hope Paul’s recovery is easy. My sons was not. He was back in the hospital 5 days later.

I totally agree with your review. I bought this a few months ago. My skin is combo. I live in Canada. It looks greasy after a while. But it's not terrible. I'll wear it when I only need it for a small period of time.
Hello! Im new to your channel! I've watched a few of your videos & I've learned so much! Im still struggling with matching my undertone.. & with using concealer under the eyes. Im 29 and seems like every product/technique I've tried fails.. it creases so bad!! Tanning I believe aged my face 🙄
Thank you Lisa for stressing that an SPF in foundation is not a replacement for sunscreen. I get aggravated to hear people saying... Oh I don't need a sunscreen because it's in my foundation. That is further from the truth.

Im sorry 1 more thing, how does your eyes not drag/crease under the eye, let me know if this could be my problem- when using a concealer, are you supposed too put it directly under your lower lash line? The reason I do is because my lash line area is really red and some purple ish.. please help

Mary Myers I found that it wasn’t the sunscreen I was using making my face pill but the order in which I was doing my skincare routine, I was over exfoliating at night, using an exfoliating cleanser plus my Retinol, now I just use a gentle cleanser at night with my skincare products at night and exfoliate in the morning, the products I use in the morning are less aggressive than the Retinol, I Hope this helps you, I used to be a pilling mess every time I’d apply my Sunscreen before Makeup...Honestly 🥰🥰🥰🇦🇺

Glad to hear your review on this. I purchased hoping it would be similar to my favorite discontinued Maybelline cushion foundation. I did not like it at all - it was horrible on my finr lines, texture & dry skin. I also felt it looked heavy, even though I used less than a pump. It lasted the whole day on me, but since I didn't like it, I was hoping it would wear off more. You should try the new Estee Lauder Lauder hydrating spf 45 - it is amazing & a new favorite for me!

I love Candid, but this was published in January 2020, and none of us were wearing masks in January, were we? Did you actually put this up later than January? My son had appendicitis last year. Same symptoms! The ped said to see if he could jump on one foot. Apparently that's something you can't do when your appendicitis is infected! Who knew!?

So I do follow you on Insta and I wanted to let you know that when you did a story the morning after your husband's hospital stay, where you had stayed at the hospital with him, I was just thinking "wow she looks so beautiful"! I mean I think you always do (makeup or no makeup) but you were in your car and you had been at the hospital all night and you just looked stunning! Oh poor Pau!🙏for a quick recovery! I can tell this won’t replace my HG Revlon Candid. I vote Wet n Wild. Milani up here in Canada is very high end in price at the drugstore. W&W is still at the lower end thankfully. I appreciate when you mention sunscreen in stuff - I’m allergic to the usual chemical sunscreen so I search for ones without it. I always wear a good solid mineral sunscreen underneath anyway.
Hi Lisa. This foundation seems a bit too sheer for me. Although I like a lightweight feeling I prefer a more solid medium coverage. I don't know if this is the right foundation for you but it looks so much better than some of the heavier foundations that you use. You are still very young and I don't think that you need to use it! You do not have to lok perfect! It gives the wrong message to young girls! Nevertheless you look wonderful.
Hi Lisa, you have beautiful skin but I agree with you. This foundation illuminates your pores & skin texture. Your skin does look too shiny & greasy as the day progressed. Does not make your skin look it’s best. I will not be purchasing this foundation. Too many great ones out there. I love Candid by Revlon & Matte Poreless by Mabelline.

I feel this way about the CT Magic foundation. I'm going to try and mix it with my favs, Double wear or Stila Hide and Chic, to see if I can make it work. Hope hubby is recovering well.

You don't even need foundation. Your complexion looks good on it's own.

I am older and I use very little foundation since I was never a sun worshiper which I think helped and I am Irish decent with some freckling. I love love love makeup but I just go easier on the foundation. I will try these foundations since this past week I needed to change what I was using. Keep up the great videos. Thx

Glad to hear your review on this. I purchased hoping it would be similar to my favorite discontinued Maybelline cushion foundation. I did not like it at all - it was horrible on my finr lines, texture & dry skin. I also felt it looked heavy, even though I used less than a pump. It lasted the whole day on me, but since I didn't like it, I was hoping it would wear off more. You should try the new Estee Lauder Lauder hydrating spf 45 - it is amazing & a new favorite for me!

I love Candid, but this was published in January 2020, and none of us were wearing masks in January, were we? Did you actually put this up later than January? I don't think that ppl started wearing masks till March. Maybe I'm mistaken?

Life can be so unpredictable. Glad you went right in and didn't wait any longer. I've been waiting for this foundation to come out in my area. I have heard it was coming, I'm not too sure now .... I also want to commend you for being aware and mentioning unnecessary purchases. One of my 2020 goals it to cut my plastic consumption. Unfortunately the beauty industry is very high on the list.

My son had appendicitis last year. Same symptoms! The ped said to see if he could jump on one foot. Apparently that's something you can't do when your appendicitis is infected! Who knew!?

So I do follow you on Insta and I wanted to let you know that when you did a story the morning after your husband's hospital stay, where you had stayed at the hospital with him, I was just thinking "wow she looks so beautiful"! I mean I think you always do (makeup or no makeup) but you were in your car and you had been at the hospital all night and you just looked stunning! I vote Wet n Wild. Milani up here in Canada is very high end in price at the drugstore. W&W is still at the lower end thankfully.
I appreciate when you mention sunscreen in stuff - I’m allergic to the usual chemical sunscreen so I search for ones without it. I always wear a good solid mineral sunscreen underneath anyway.

I don't know if this is the right foundation for you but it looks so much better than some of the heavier foundations that you use. You are still very young and I don't think that you need to use it! You do not have to lok perfect! It gives the wrong message to young girls! Nevertheless you look wonderful.
You have to choose a foundation that suits to your under skintone and not surface !
,I LOVE THE GRAFTOBIAN HI DEF CORRECTION PALETTE IT'S EXACTLY LIKE THAT CAN BE used as nice brightening concealer comes qith 5 shades..

Hi Lisa, you have beautiful skin but I agree with you. This foundation illuminates your pores & skin texture. Your skin does look too shiny & greasy as the day progressed. Does not make your skin look it’s best. I will not be purchasing this foundation. Too many great ones out there. I love Candid by Revlon & Matte Poreless by Mabelline.
There are so many good drugstore products out there. This one was not the best. lol
