Firstly it seemed to be too light, but after finishing all makeup it looks really good.

On quick days I apply this foundation with the forbidden hands - lol. I’m 55, sandy beige 60 and Fit me Dewy and Smooth in 210 are my go to foundations. Thanks for focusing on us girls of a particular age ❤

I am buying that Dewy, you look that nice and healthy! I did a Cover girl spiral matchup, but I can change any time for that glow.
I'm very impressed how long this foundation is lasting and the price, wow!! It was a bit dewy at first but it looks really good. Agree i don't like a heavy foundation feel either. Thanks, Jill for bringing us these great finds. Also, the Elite is absolutely gorgeous on you. Beautiful!! Years ago i use Cover Girl, might have to revisit that brand again. Personally, I like a dewy look and I have dry skin. I am going to try this and add it to the mix. For such a bargain price, it is worth the experiment. I love that warm sunflower color scheme on you. Great video. Thank you! My favorite drugstore foundation is that True Match and Infallible by L'Oreal. I also love It CC Cream which is enough coverage for me but it's a bit pricey.

ul foundation that works for everyone like the Catrice HD, even on my 68 year old combo skin, with oilier skins as we get older we suffer from dehydration, and powdered it lasted all day, surprised by the price it performs like a high end foundation!
I use IT powder foundation. I have oily skin in areas so liquid foundation just doesn't work as well as powdered ones. I love 💘 your make up techniques! 🙂

I have avoided most drugstore foundations because often their color range is narrow (even the fair tones are and/or too warm for me) or they are scented or contain ingredients I do not want. In fairness, I have not tried the L'Oreal True Match, but for some reason it never appealed to me. Based on your review, and some subsequent research, I will try this.

Very impressive Jill! I'm like you in that I do not like foundation to feel heavy. Most of the time I cave and just use powder. lol Just thinking that if this foundation contains hyaluronic acid, it will draw moisture into it, so that can make it feel heavy, as well as the collagen. Loved your glam look in this tutorial. Made me laugh when you applied that bright red/orange eye shadow to your upper lids. Turned out beautiful girlfriend 💋😍

I appreciate and enjoy how you take the time to explain things in simple details. Very helpful and informative of course. Haven't tried this foundation. I like dewy but not too much,...if that's a thing. Lol! I have normal skin now that I'm a mature woman of age. When I was younger I had the combination/t zone type of skin. Funny never liked it. Now I have to say love my mature skin and no wrinkles. So I guess, natural oils on our skin at a young age is a good thing. Pays off at the end! 😉

Been married for 32 years. .. LOL. BUT I'll give answering a shot! I think it's totally up to you! If you feel other dates are in your future with a particular guy, maybe consider being honest (weed out the ones who have a problem with it right away...they aren't keepers anyway),
Still waiting on Maybelline to get on the cruelty free board just can't bring myself to buy it
I am with you, Jan. That is a rather big reason why I don't do much drugstore makeup, sadly. Most of those BIG brands do. (Not to say high end doesn't have their share) The easiest way to determine if animal testing is done...is to check to see if it's sold in China. China has a strict rule/guideline that if you want to sell cosmetics there, it HAS to be tested on animals.
And me lovely I will never wear anything that's not cruelty free..an animals pain is not worth any vanity 😢
Where can I get the headband?
If you mean in the beginning...I have a bunch from my skin care practice that I purchased for facials years ago. (I am an esthetician). ;) If you mean at the end....that is a pretty scarf. I don't remember where I got that??

Hello there! When I was 17 I worked behind a Merle Normal counter as a beauty advisor. ;) (I just aged myself there!) It has been since early 20's since using any of their line. This last year has been hard on so many of us regarding isolation, anxiety and depression. Finding purpose is essential ....and, doing this channel has filled that large hole for me over these years, and am so grateful for all of you, this platform, and all it has brought me. I tend to isolate even before. COVID, but it has been especially challenging hasn't it this year? Find something that brings you inner joy and a sense of peace....and it may take you a while to do that, but keep searching. Hugs to you!
