@Daniel Jarom Sure did! Was a little confused because the boob light I took down didn't have a grounding wire, but it was in the ceiling so got it all figured out :)
i love this, love your energy and I really appreciate how easy this is to follow. I have one of these I'm trying to replace, and most other tutorials are confusing or they don't get to the point. One thing though - aren't you supposed to turn the power off at the breaker not just at the switch before doing this?
😅 well... I'm not a vetoed electrician, but turning the power off at the switch should turn off the power to the light without turning everything else on the breaker off.
I am doing this exact thing right now... But once I removed the screws, the light fixture would not budge at all. It is 100% solidly attached to the ceiling still???
Thank you for phrasing the title of this video exactly how I googled it
Hahaha you are most welcome
I got this exact light from Costco & will be switching it from a boob light so I landed on the perfect example. Thanks!
Costco is the best
Thanks for the tip on putting the wires up so they don't pinch. Hadn't thought of that and fixed it before turning the breaker back on. Thanks!
🤙glad it helped! Did everything turn on like it should?

@Lemonade Bomb good job! Thankfully UA-cam has some decent videos on this topic

This was super helpful! Thank you!
Glad to help 😀
Good video, but should really turn off the breaker (instead of just the wall switch) before working on house wiring.
That's not a bad idea.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
