This is truly spectacular!! I don't see games made from an isometric view a lot, and when I do, it is rarely pixel art. Props to you!! I can't wait for the next video ^^
Awesome! Really nice job with this I've really gotten into isometric art lately, and my current indie game's art is all isometric vector, so it's really nice to see other people taking on the style as well :)
Thanks! I've always liked the look of isometric art, but it seemed intimidating. I decided to just go for it with this game and it has been easier than I anticipated!
Hey can you do a tutorial on how you did the isometric based movement? I played your game, It was super cute and fun! Did you have a grid based movement system in place?
Thanks for the suggestion! To be honest, I really didn't know what I was doing so I don't know if I would be the best to make a tutorial lol. I followed the "Introduction to Isometric Movement in Games" by GDQuest.
Thanks! I actually started making pixel art in Microsoft Paint. Then I switched to Pyxel Edit. I know a lot of people like Aseprite, so I might end up playing around with that at some point.

Are you on the Firith Discord? The link is in the description of all my videos. You can post it in the share-your-art thread if you would like :)
@@KiwiBee I wish I could but my parents say that I am still to young to use discord but I can use it in like 2 years
@@Tulshy_Ahraça I respect that. It's good that your parents are looking out for you :)

*me realizing halfway through that its the optional pallete*
It is! I like the challenge of a limited pallet and the colors are great!
It looks amazing! Have you tried other tools for pixel art?

Awesome 😎!!!!
Thank you!
So excited for this 😀
Will you make a video about the actual jam game when the jam is done?
I'm not sure. I want my channel to focus on pixel art rather than game dev, but I'll think about it.
I just realise that Goodgis and Kiwii's avatar look similiar hmm...
Hmmm... I wonder why that could be ;)
@@KiwiBee hmmm...
This video inspired me to actually make a game 😎
What software did you use to make your profile picture?
That's awesome! Best of luck in your game dev endeavors!
Also, my profile picture was made in Adobe Illustrator.
