That airship IS ABSOLUTLEY INSANE! Puts mine to shame in terms of style points by many magnitudes!

Nice work. Never thought of using tractor beams to launch aircraft. Im taking note of that. I Also wish to say as some one who has done a number of zeppelins that shaping the nose and tail is the hard part. Deco can be used but even with mirroring its time consuming. One last thing though I just want to say this isnt a true zeppelin since it doesnt seem to use Helium to stay aloft. I seen those CJE pointing downwards lol

Thank you for finding and shining a spotlight on these gems! I have used so many of the ships from the W&W series as learning examples for learning new things!

Play crimson skies. One of those old single player games that is worth playing a couple times still.

Thank you so much for showcasing this! I'm two months late to my own build, but mostly because I didn't think it would be showcased anywhere!
    To answer some questions:
    - The airship starts in patrol mode and the 'barrels' rotate due to the glitchiness of tractor beams. At speed, the drone planes would clip into the body of the ship, and then be released and... explode. So, I just have it not move for a little bit. Those ACBs are located in the lower bridge if you want to mess with them. Definitely not practical, but yknow. When returning, the planes would sometimes get stuck in a holding pattern no matter what settings I had and for some reason rotating the barrel helped with that (I have no idea why)
    - I have zero clue why I was going by increments of 5 and ended at 21 🤷‍♂️

I really prefer ACB's to breadboards, they provide additional functionality in exchange for volume.
Breadboards are really, really cool, but they feel totally out of place in the game.
They provide infinitely-scaling functionality for 1 volume. It would be nice if they required processing power after a certain number of objects/ commands.

I hope to soon get a PC that can run FtD. My current 12-year-old rig unfortunately can't. But these doors are giving me an idea, which leads me to a question: If I used doors like these in front of torpedo launchers on a submarine (WW2-style), how do they affect Sonar if rubbered along with the hull? Does sonar pass straight through subobjects like these and I'd have to rubberize the inside as well? Or does it become part of the hull in that sense? Yes, i am aware of the fragility of a rubber-layer, but I am curious regardless.

I believe subobjects are treated the same as the hull when it comes to detection, so it should be fine. 👍

@@BorderWise12 Good to know. I am looking forward to trying my hand at the game. Specifically a Typhoon-esque sub. On that note, do doors (sub-objects or actual doors) form a watertight seal? I want to keep the thing walkable, but compartmentalized in order to make it more survivable.
