So... you just founded the east coast branch of the water merchants
Even with just 3 purifiers at sanctuary you can get over 100 bottles of purified water whenever you return there. I store mine in a milk vending machine and when I have over 300 I use them to buy fusion cores and power armor frames from Kleo in Goodneighbor and Teagan on the Prydwen
I store them in a wooden box with all the spare crops the settlers grow. Never really spent any amount of caps in the game as the crops and purified water covers it all.

Ha, I am the Marsh Water Company, your competitor. Every Marsh Water Company settlement has a Free Ice machine and some of my settlements pump out about 270 water. They pay for the next massive settlement. The best water plants are in the Castle, Sanctuary, Nordhagen and Warwick farm. We also have massive green houses. So we produce a huge amount of food. I love playing monopoly. You should see my land grabbing in Fable 3. 😊 ❤ 🤣

I leveled up finding more ammo in containers and just sell excess ammo/ammo I don't use for my caps. Purified water is a great money maker, but ammo weighs nothing and you can easily clear out Diamond City/Bunker Hill/Good Neighbor traders with like an hour of gameplay. Especially if you farm children of atom because with the right barter perks and magazines, gamma rounds are worth 19 caps each.

I downloaded a mod that disables Speak of the Devil, Crucible and Pyromaniac. I also add a mod that makes Echos of the Past start more naturally, totally worth the space on my hard drive.

You can fill bottles but not sure if you can sell them in Fallout 4....LOL, you can make money if you set up stores and traders and your caps go into the workshop, plus they pay for living there too, so you'll need to build beds...you also need to go to concord and get Preston, and his crew who will settle there.
To everyone wondering. Make sure to listen to every new radio station, otherwise the game quests will break 💔
