Failsafe definitely mentions SIVA when you are standing in front of her.
But she doesn't have an access key for the info.
I heard that a few times back then I figured it as she was referencing her cargo and the lack of access key was from Rasputin when she made it to her destination

The darkness has some from the collapse and Rasputin probs has some aswell lieing dormant
Siva, coded as it was in D1, os destroyed and gone. While some of its old structures are still around, without the directive SIVA just stopped working and disintegrated.
However there ARE other SIVA "caches" out there from the EXODUS project, most likely soon tobe commandeered by the Darkness(thuh DAHkness, dahling lol)
Chances are we are going to attempt to use whatever SIVA we find against the Darkness, since we now have Senor Tyrant Computer helping us out.

Thats literally how Bungie has treated SIVA. They said in Forsaken that they "have no plans to revisit SIVA"

I honestly think SIVA in and of itself has begun to evolve and gain sentience like Rasputin. There were hints that Aksis might have been being controlled as well as SIBA evolving and taking a new shape, as seen with the ornaments for the age of triumph raid armor.
Possibly but then I always thought the house of kings were behind Aksis considering they were behind the assault on the city.

I think there's plenty of reason not to see SIVA (not denying it could comeback, but I do not think it is likely. I could be wrong.) But remember, SIVA was originally controlled and used by Rasputin and then either released or put into dormancy or disconnected himself from it after what happened with the Iron Lords (possibly out of shame for realizing what he did). Rasputin might have also left it be while he was focusing on recollecting his network and power after the business with Felwinter was done. There's a number of potential understandable reasons why he left SIVA to it's own devices.
Regardless, when the House of Devils and their Splicers took over, that's when Guardians and the tower eventually got involved and went on a massive cleaning effort to stop what was happening. In those missions in D2 where we return to the Cosmodrome, it's clear a massive effort was made to clear out the corrupted nanotech. Now there are definitely strong hints of it existing elsewhere, but then I have to ask:
Is this the same cache of SIVA under Rasputin's control or is it inert and disconnected? If the former, Rasputin is now our ally and SIVA is now a "friendly" asset. If the latter, do any Eliksni (Splicers) or any of the enemy combatants have enough knowledge to reactivate and use it properly? Can it be reconnected to Rasputin?
Maybe Eramis and her group of Devil Revivalists will try to get it working...otherwise, I'd say SIVA is the least of our worries right now. As for a SIVA Zombie fight with Felwinter...we already got that in D1. Unless you wanted a reprised fight? I wouldn't have been opposed to that, but can understand why they didn't do that.

@@hiidenkiuas I'm curious ... Rasputin met the darkness once before. He's also the greatest mind of the golden age ... And he controls siva ... Is Rasputin waiting to sacrifice himself once the darkness comes to eliminate them with siva? Siva deconstructs any particle and remakes it ... imagine the battleground tactical advantage that gives you ... not to mention siva could literally consume opposing foes. I think Rasputin has been laying in wait and not helping the guardians because he knows his intervention in specific factions would lead to war and demise of humanity with this lingering threat about to come. How do you fight an enemy when you fight yourselves?

Bothers me a little that Saladin hasnt said a word to us about...anything we've done related to the Warmind. Yeah he said his time to lead is over but he hasn't said anything about those running around with Outbreak Perfected in Iron banner, nor our active colluding with Rasputin now. And now with Felwinters lie...he has to know. He deserves to know, as they were brothers in arms

Vangyx_217 I am surprised that the writers have not addressed what both Saladin’s and Zevala’s reactions would be to the truth of how the Iron Lords died. Zevala has always been wary of Rasputin, and you know that a confirmed case of Rasputin purposefully baiting guardians into a death trap would have him calling for Rasputin to either be deactivated or placed under tight control. I fully expected Saladin to be absolutely howling after finding out about Rasputin’s trap. As you said, Rasputin killed his brothers and sisters in arms, and possibly the love of his life.
They might be doing this in the next season but i doubt they might. Probably through lore books might mention something.
All stems from the unfortunate fact that Destiny 2 was without Rise of Iron in mind.

I think it is quite dangerous to realize that Rasputin had developed emotions and acted in those emotions rejecting the core protocol he was designed for.
This piece of artwork is probably my favorite of everything Gamma Trap has done. Great work!

Perk: every bullet is infused with SIVA, giving damage over time. Headshot kills make the opponent explode, sending SIVA particles after enemies. Think Firefly+Thorn.
Catalyst: By holding reload, you can change the "Directive" of your SIVA, to heal teammates.
Lore: Since Rasputin is now "the Homie", he helps guardians code new directives to personal caches of SIVA.

Hey myelin ^^ to get the Siva dialogue you have to go see Failsafe, the robot vendor in Nessus, with Outbreak Perfected in hand and wait until she begin to speak about Siva. She will say it's confidential though
I like to think that Rasputin was wracked with grief and pain losing his son twice. Once in the collapse, and again when Felwinter became a Guardian.
Rasputin finally realized in his rage and grief that he lost his son a third time... By his own hands.
During the collapse felwinter wasn't RASPUTINs son, he was just rasputins exo body

Imagine next season we get Enceladus, and a deep stone crypt location. Then we find out Siva is there as well and it makes a return. Or maybe we could like bring Felwinter back. Either way I wanna see Siva return and not just in lore.
If only it was possible to bring him back. I don't see how it could be. Would definitely twist things up a bit.
@@arcade101mm if bungie pulled reviving felwinter, the whole hunter sect is gonna be mad. Both are dead, ghost gone. At least cayde's body is in a good shape. If recovering memories from felwinter then that would make sense but whoever did that is gonna have a dozen warsat dropped on them lmao
@@tuttuti123 Agreed. Next season should hopefully see someone take the Hunter Vanguard. The only ones who fit the bill are Ana and Eris. If we follow the Dare, then it goes to Uldren by default.
Cayde6 said its on enceludus, so if we Rez Fellwinter then we HAVE TO GET CAYDE 7, even if Bungo killed him off to put the story back to how it was.

In my opinion the only way to defeat the darkness is to team up with siva, we would be near indestructible and siva could just takeover a Dorito ship.

@@danster9928 If Siva was alone yeah, but imagine we somehow empowering it with light or something or using it in a war of attrition against them, like slowly consuming the ship and their forces to build more equipment for us and we defending it's growth

The darkness would know that they cant destroy it fast enough. And the darkness is obviously stronger than light, so instead of the pyramid ship destroying siva, it would cease the control that siva has of itself, and the darkness would control siva. Just like our ghost gets taken over, siva would too

I mean if you look at the leaks from a technical coding stan point they were right. (Felwinter siva) was the hologram we saw before the secret room opened. (Felwinter fight) was the hologram where the frame was attacking him. (Felwinter coffin) was of course the coffin rasputin made. Love the vid keep it up.

@@Thekolibrigirl Vex are already a superior tecnology, imo. Actually they are more than a tecnology. They are able to travel space-time continuum, while consuming everything to auto-replicate and survive. They were created by Light and Darkness, while SIVA is a man creation.
@@VFAHSN What if siva's directive in such a case would be to control or puppet the vex? Maybe failsafe would issue this directive. Maybe she would communicate with praedyth again. It could be a cool interaction.
Personally I don't think we will see siva on Nessus but there is some potential there for sure.

I recall some Failsafe patrol dialogue lines where she attempts to access SIVA files stored in her memory but she says that the files were corrupted. On the other hand, all the vegetation on the planet is colored red. Coincidence?

Okay, I want to put this out there. Since the whole theory of Enceladus being next, and Deep Stone Crypt is a Bray Facility (or so the theory goes), perhaps that’s where it is and that’s how they turned people into Exos?

Had some thoughts while watching this vid - What if the SIVA program was a success, and colony ships were each given a supply of SIVA mites, to help them with their colonizing efforts.
Then that would mean that the colony ship that never took on in the Cosmodrome in D1 had a supply of SIVA. What if that is the SIVA that the Devil Splicers found? That would mean that Exodus Black has a supply, too. But with no way to activate it.
There also may be the possibility that the ship the Awoken were on during the Collapse may have had a supply of SIVA, too. That would make things a little more interesting in that story.
What if the 'Seven Seraphs' were supposed to be seven Exo's designed to house subminds of Rasputin, which would each be part of a colony ship, to operate SIVA? What if pre-Felwinter was the prototype to the Seraphs?
Also, I couldn't help but think that maybe 'Patient C' could have been Elsie Bray, and she was one of the original subject for the SIVA injection tests, and it led to Clovis making her into an EXO to save her? Probably not, but it would be interesting to think about.
Siva on Nessus is from a scanable in the Hallows the transcript reads "Ghost: For a second I thought there was some kind of SIVA outbreak on Nessus. That would be bad on so many levels. How about we never see that stuff again?"

next to Tyra Karn in the Farm, and she mentioned a very interesting
relevant voice line.
Something along the lines of "Tell me have you seen SIVA on Nessus. Ask that Failsafe, she should know something."
It was a voiceline that was unprompted and just said while standing near her in the social space. I was not in her menu.

@@youraveragehotdog6836 there q destiny 2 comic called Cayde and his 6lSix, and one of the panels shows a Devil Splicer Captain sitting in a bar on the Shore.
Shotgun-God I’m not sure the moon strikes count as canon. Tbh I’m not sure any of the strikes are canon considering the whole thing with cayde talking about taniks killing him in the messages to his killers

Tyra at farm sometimes say something like "If u will be on Nessus, ask that Failsafe about SIVA, she should know something about it (or they hade some at golden age)"
I still wonder if Heir Apparent has a double meaning... Because this entire season has pretty much nothing to do with the Cabal when you think it would.
I think Rasputin might be setting up to bring Felwinter back and that's the lie. Felwinter is Rasputin's Heir. Either Rasputin might be willing to make a deal to get him back or something that puts everything at risk. We will end up at the Crypt and we might see Uldrin sacrifice himself to bring Cayde back.
Nothing to do with the Cabal.

There is no Lore talking about Failsafe holding Siva written in the game that I know of, she occasionally drop some lines about the Siva project being locked away in some files on the ship, but she can't access them. So in a way yes there is lore about Siva in D2 just not written, only a few lines she says before interacting with her when you visit her. 😊
Anna Bray had the yellow in her eyes, in the war mind opening cut scene
2 things
1) Could Felwinter actually be Charlemagne? Seeing he is a warmind.
2) Personal enhancements made with Sixa were done through Cybernetics (going back to Rise of Iron and the Splicers) wouldn't that explain the enhancements with Anna Brays eyes?
Dope Artwork
Just imagine failsafe using Siva. She discovers it in her files and goes from there. She's seemingly got a soft spot for the fallen, much like myself, and she could work with them. Or done with grief, she could take and sort of resurrect her lost crew. She could use Siva on vex or cabal? There's so much to do there
Failsafe mentions SIVA while you wait in the room with her. She mentions that it is still contained in her cargo hold, wherever that may be.
