In the dungeon the Nine asks, "You ask about the nature of the dark but not the light?" It hints that something else is going on, something sinister. Light is what we assign to the traveler herself to us, what if I told you the light isn't really light as we think but darker than dark true evil to its core . This is why the darkness is confused by its stance it to is evil but to a lesser degree, the traveler hides her motives not the darkness

@@dhafinichsan @DarkAssassin860 , I tend to believe or think that in terms of the Nine, the feared would be the "EXO-Stranger" because her existence (no ghost) is unknown and she said where she come from is where light meets dark back in D1, though could be Queen Mara Sov ( born of the Stars per say) as well, the untrustworthy "Eris Morn" for she too has no Ghost (glowing green orb with a shard contained within) and has existed with both Light (pre Moon Hellmouth event of D1, when she had ghost from Traveler), also survived the deep below the Moon's surface and the Hive (she took their eyes), and has some strange unknown connection to be able to control / contact us when we were in the Ascendant Realm (D1), and Shadowkeep (D2 Shadowkeep) when we ran with the device she pulls us out, and even in D2 ~ Season of the Arrivals (D2) too when we were within Pyramid Realm fighting various Shreiker Eyes too, and of course the 'Dredgen" remains the Drifter ,

So random interpretation of the lore we’ve been getting recently: The light and dark are like two energy sources, they’re tools. They don’t care what they are used for. The reason why we see the light as being “good” is because the main user of the light is the Traveler, who has helped us. On the same note, the main user of the darkness is the Winnower (weird pyramid statue lady) and the hive. Due to this we see the darkness as evil. So in Beyond Light, when we use the darkness it is more like finding an alternate energy source then it is siding with the enemy. Does this sound about right or am I stupid? Edit: Following this logic, the battle between the Traveler and the Pyramid ships is not a battle of the Light vs the Dark, but more a battle of the ideologies of the Traveler and the Winnower, and the light and dark are just their weapons of choice.
They're not tools do. They're aspects; the Light is supposed to represent Creation while the Dark is supposed to represent the End of said Creation. And while wiping out the Darkness or Light would leave the universe stagnant or dead(depending on which is wiped), it'd probably be in everyone's best interests that Creation holds a slight advantage. The likes of 60/40 deal, or something like that...
The Leviathan will also be vaulted, are we gonna see Calus try to eat a Pyramid? Maybe have a mission in Argos's boss room where we try to repel said Pyramid. Would be cool if the Kell Echo was Taken Skolas. Tetrahedron Ships.
My theory for lightfall isn’t a huge climatic battle between the dark and light- traveler vs pyramid, but rather the nine vs the guardians. The picture for light fall shows the pyramid and traveler lighted up as one force.

If the "and others like you" line does refer to us - the player - then they do understand our agency and that our Guardian is a character controlled by a person the cannot physically see or touch. Maybe the " Prophecy" is not only what they show as the Planets being evacuated, but also that we are more than they, or anyone expected.
Hey myelin I had a theory about the kell echo, I think he’s actually the taken version or taken copy of Celchis the kell of stone. 1. I remember hearing from byf that he was killed by the nine 2. In some of his lore in d1 it insinuates he was taken with the word “maw”
I'm betting the answer will be quite clear when Ruinous Effigy is released. It's most likely Eramis, but that seems too simple to be a revelation. But then again, I don't think our Guardian knows what Eramis is up to in-game.

My mate pointed out that on the destination map in game... All the planets that are being removed are on the one side of the map. I liked how all those little camps you find are also those planets

The pyramids so far have not been overly aggressive. Which has got me wondering what REALLY caused the collapse. Perhaps the Nine using both light and dark for their own ends is very bad for us?

A prophecy, in literature, usually describes a future foretold of important events yet to come. From what I’ve heard, this dungeon apparently predicts the events of Beyond Light and seasons/campaigns before and after it.
So I was just thinking this and I'd love thoughts on it, what if the Kell is Chelchis, Kell of Stone? In the lore in TTK he was said to have been Taken by Oryx and since this Kell is a Taken it makes sense in my head.
In Drifter's backstory, he Jury-rigs his Ghost to give himself the power to freeze and capture the darkness creatures on the ice planet. My glimmer's on him teaching us how to use the Stasis subclass in Beyond Light

Opinions on the Leviathan and the fall expansion? From what I've heard as well as Mars, Mercury, Titan and Io, the Leviathan is going too. Could we see this be destroyed? What are the short or long term implications for the Callus story line (if the Leviathan is destroyed) that so many people still want the be fleshed out? Great vid as always dude, keep it up!
The Leviathan better not be destroyed. So much build-up for jack-shit, yet, it sounds so Destiny its not even funny...I'd accept it if the Leviathan just flew away somewhere and came back later with new content, raids, and a continuation to the story.

What if the Nine summoned the Pyramid ships to our system so that we could learn how to use the darkness so that they could escape? What if the darkness is the second half of what they need, they already have the light because of when we went to the Traveler's shard? What if Mara Sov knows the intentions of the Nine (wanting to escape) which is why she told us that she would've destroyed the Traveler if she had the chance?

Calling it now, the Kell Echo is most likely going to be Variks. Considering how it was mentioned in a lore card from Season of the Drifter that he's deemed himself the true Kell of Kells, which considering at this point Kells are quite literally extinct leaves only one Fallen in the entire system with the title of Kell. What leads up to him being taken I have no idea, but considering the fact Mithrax and Eramis don't seem to be, for lack of a better term, Kell sized as Variks was described as becoming which also lines up with the size of the Kell Echo.
Technically, Elsie's exo body has vex tech integrated, and they don't exactly time travel. The Vex jump realities, cross parallel dimensions. It's like the Drifter said, "If the Vex could time travel, they would already won..."
i have a more sound understanding of why those eyes are all on the planets that are being vaulted. it would make sense that the Nine are watching these locations. the bones from Io inside the dungeon are where asher stands on the real Io. and whats above him? an eye...it's watching, most likely replicating the details of the space. it would make more sense than Savathun, seeing as how all the taken blights on Io are already windows to our reality. the many scannable blights reinforce this when it tells us someone is watching us through them.
I take it you never got the Ace of Spades, or if you did, you didn’t pay attention to Cayde’s messages... He states that if a Cayde-7 or higher is running around, then somebody has changed the game and isn’t playing by the rules
Perhaps it is the realization to wield both light and dark is the means for the nine to become what they want? Even more curious is what exactly is the balance for both the light and the dark?
Honestly my biggest question would be how much of the lore tabs for the coda armors should be believed. With the hunters making me question the ghost and if it was really us doing things in D1. Also the warlock armor tabs talking about us co existing with the nine in their space and the emissary giving the nine the idea of restricting our powers, and that we existed before light and dark. I might be over thinking the lore tabs or I'm just not looking deep enough.
Anyone still remember the (opinionated) Lore Trolling that was the 9 missing crew of the ship whose passengers became the Awoken? Pepperidge Farms remembers. Anyways, anyone else picture that when the Tetrahedron ships appear on Io that Asher Mir first complained about the loud headache enduring racket then after shooting the things said in his Skeletor like voice, “WAT?!?”

Little side note: we never really got are question answered, we asked “what is the Darkness” and they ended up telling us that light and dark are basically the same thing just two sides of the same coin, THAT DOSENT ANSWER *WHAT* The Darkness is 😭😭😭 Also my hope is that since the Light has 3 elements: Void,Arc,Solar That the Darkness will get 3 elements as well: 1st one is Stasis, and the 2nd or 3rd one could be maybe Decay and some other third thing that makes sense, and they would add the other 2 elements in the other 2 expansions
Yeah, I'm definetely -hoping- predicting that we'll see three 'dark' elements to mirror the light ones, since Bungie annouced the three expansions, and with Beyond Light giving us Stasis, it certainly feels like that's what is happening.

You know who else ironically was “influenced” by Light and Dark? Uldren. In the cutscene before he unleashes Riven, the Hallucination Of Mara Sov specifically says to him “Only light&dark can bring me back into your world”. I think Bungie is pushing this balance narrative for a while. I hope Ulan-Tan and The Symmetry makes a bigger cameo.
I thought it may be more to do with the matter that the celestial bodies they exist within are made from. 4 Jovians are gaseous with the rest being terrestrial (I think? 😆) The cover of the Unveiling Lore Book also shows -something- potentially as well, but I’m not sure.
Wasn't there a rumor or some leaks that certain bungie employees were working on another game titled "Matter"? Or was the game called something else? But what I'm getting at is that there's an alien world called Matter mentioned here in these lore tabs, any connections possibly? Idk probably not just figured I'd throw it out there
I don't think the pyramid ships will destroy the locations, I think Savathun is going to be responsible for that somehow with those death singers that can destroy planets. She certainly is doing her best to keep us away from the "darkness" so something tells me that we will wind up teaming up with the pyramids, using dark and light to ultimately defeat Savathun.

I wonder if how Eris, Drifter and the Exo Stranger uses the darkness define the new subclasses coming in DLC!
In Drifter's backstory, he Jury-rigs his Ghost to give himself the power to freeze and capture the darkness creatures on the ice planet. My glimmer's on him teaching us how to use the Stasis subclass in Beyond Light

Opinions on the Leviathan and the fall expansion? From what I've heard as well as Mars, Mercury, Titan and Io, the Leviathan is going too. Could we see this be destroyed? What are the short or long term implications for the Callus story line (if the Leviathan is destroyed) that so many people still want the be fleshed out? Great vid as always dude, keep it up!
The Leviathan better not be destroyed. So much build-up for jack-shit, yet, it sounds so Destiny its not even funny...I'd accept it if the Leviathan just flew away somewhere and came back later with new content, raids, and a continuation to the story.

What if the Nine summoned the Pyramid ships to our system so that we could learn how to use the darkness so that they could escape? What if the darkness is the second half of what they need, they already have the light because of when we went to the Traveler's shard?
What if Mara Sov knows the intentions of the Nine (wanting to escape) which is why she told us that she would've destroyed the Traveler if she had the chance?

Calling it now, the Kell Echo is most likely going to be Variks. Considering how it was mentioned in a lore card from Season of the Drifter that he's deemed himself the true Kell of Kells, which considering at this point Kells are quite literally extinct leaves only one Fallen in the entire system with the title of Kell. What leads up to him being taken I have no idea, but considering the fact Mithrax and Eramis don't seem to be, for lack of a better term, Kell sized as Variks was described as becoming which also lines up with the size of the Kell Echo.

i have a more sound understanding of why those eyes are all on the planets that are being vaulted. it would make sense that the Nine are watching these locations. the bones from Io inside the dungeon are where asher stands on the real Io. and whats above him? an eye...it's watching, most likely replicating the details of the space. it would make more sense than Savathun, seeing as how all the taken blights on Io are already windows to our reality. the many scannable blights reinforce this when it tells us someone is watching us through them.
If we are going to the deep stone crypt that means we could get a backup drive for cayde

Honestly my biggest question would be how much of the lore tabs for the coda armors should be believed. With the hunters making me question the ghost and if it was really us doing things in D1. Also the warlock armor tabs talking about us co existing with the nine in their space and the emissary giving the nine the idea of restricting our powers, and that we existed before light and dark. I might be over thinking the lore tabs or I'm just not looking deep enough.

That the Darkness will get 3 elements as well: 1st one is Stasis, and the 2nd or 3rd one could be maybe Decay and some other third thing that makes sense, and they would add the other 2 elements in the other 2 expansions
Yeah, I'm definetely -hoping- predicting that we'll see three 'dark' elements to mirror the light ones, since Bungie annouced the three expansions, and with Beyond Light giving us Stasis, it certainly feels like that's what is happening.

You know who else ironically was “influenced” by Light and Dark? Uldren. In the cutscene before he unleashes Riven, the Hallucination Of Mara Sov specifically says to him “Only light&dark can bring me back into your world”. I think Bungie is pushing this balance narrative for a while. I hope Ulan-Tan and The Symmetry makes a bigger cameo.
Any correlation that the darkness take 4 planets out next expansion, 5/4 split on the nine stealing the light during the red war
I thought it may be more to do with the matter that the celestial bodies they exist within are made from. 4 Jovians are gaseous with the rest being terrestrial (I think? 😆) The cover of the Unveiling Lore Book also shows -something- potentially as well, but I’m not sure.

Wasn't there a rumor or some leaks that certain bungie employees were working on another game titled "Matter"? Or was the game called something else? But what I'm getting at is that there's an alien world called Matter mentioned here in these lore tabs, any connections possibly? Idk probably not just figured I'd throw it out there

I don't think the pyramid ships will destroy the locations, I think Savathun is going to be responsible for that somehow with those death singers that can destroy planets. She certainly is doing her best to keep us away from the "darkness" so something tells me that we will wind up teaming up with the pyramids, using dark and light to ultimately defeat Savathun.
It'd always thought the parallel world created by the Nine was constructedfrom those fragments of reality consumed by the Ahamkara.
