LOVE IT!! My14 year old daughter has been doing your videos for approx 6mths, She is homeschooled and I am a single mother, She was about 30lbs overweight and had some anxiety issues;after trying to get her to walk with me and her older brother and then go to the gym(which we both joining, nothing worked until she came upon fitness blender! she has lost 10lbs and is a faithful blender!! She always try to get me to do it and I would start and stop!! This morning however, I decided to get up @ 5am and do yur stretches; It's a God send!!Please DO NOT let certain critics stop you guys because you are helping soooo many of us!! THANK YOU!!!!
Brian D Your comment is uselessly mean and you probably have no idea how hurtful it could be. If you really don’t care, then just keep scrolling or ignore the comment
This has been by absolute go-to post cardio stretch for years. The exercises are perfect for easing my muscles out of "go mode", and the soothing narration helps my brain settle. One big plus of your videos is that there's no music track, so I can choose my own music to play under the voiceover. Thank you for providing such a valuable service!
This is the first time I'm commenting on a Fitnessblender video, though I've been following their videos for a couple of months now. I suffer from insulin resistance which has caused me to gain nearly 25 pounds in a very short period of time, completely turning my life around and killing my self-confidence. It's very hard to lose weight but I'm trying everyday. I know it's not much, but with Fitnessblender, I've lost 5 pounds, which is a huge deal for me, considering I was struggling to keep my weight from rising even further. This video is a testimony to the chance FB videos have made. I have been doing this workout for a few weeks now, 3-4 times a week. And trust me when I say this, I could barely get past my knees once upon a time and now I can touch my toes! Kelly and Daniel are the most sincere people I know, and hoping to be working out with them for a long long time. And to all of you, don't give up!
+Risha Ahmed Yay so glad for you, girl!! I've been working out forever and I was getting sooo bored and kind of in a plateau until I found these guys. I agree. They are wonderful. I pray you continue to see AMAZING results and have so much joy in your workouts.
+Esse Johnson Thank you so much, I really hope so. 😊 it's so frustrating looking at the weighing scale and seeing no change. but these guys are so motivating.
+Risha Ahmed I've had that for years. It's frustrating, but don't lose heart. Keep moving. We have to move more than normal people now. You'll get used to it someday. You're doing great!
@peakper4mance The standing quads stretch addresses the quadriceps, though you have a point in that we do tend to focus more heavily on the hamstrings in this video. One reason why is that the quads are stretched much more often than hamstrings in natural, everyday activities & movements. Good eye!
Hi Sparkle, yes, we can definitely do a full body stretching routine. That's on my list for the next time our regular jobs allow us the time to film workouts! We have a couple of workouts already that would be great for someone with fibromyalgia (after a doctor's approval, of course). Check out our Low Impact Cardio & Toning Workout for Beginners & our Workout at Work Chair Workout. Watch for the stretching video soon! -Kelli
Hello :) We have a bunch of different stretching routines, it's easiest to search through them on our website. This would be a great one for before bed.
@daysie76 Thanks Daysie! It's great to hear positive feedback. Look out for an upper body stretching routine in the next 1-2 weeks. Thank you for the suggestion :) Kelli
We have workouts in all kinds of different formats - really if you don't like one you can usually click on any other one of ours & find something totally different. Plus - cut it in half & you'll burn 1/2 the calories ;) Thank you for the feedback.
You should do this after your leg day workout as a cool down. This helps stretch the muscles you've used and helps reduce the amount of soreness the next day. Before you start your workout you should do a warm up with dynamic stretches (where you move your muscles to warm up your body) for at least 5 minutes. FitnessBlender has plenty to chose from. If you do static stretches like in this workout before you've warmed your body thoroughly, you are likely to injure yourself.
You actually shouldn't stretch before weight lifting. It weakens your muscles since they become relaxed after stretching. Rather, foam rolling is ideal.
You can always, always improve your flexibility, no matter how old you are. Plus, you are only 14! Don't worry about it, start now & keep it up so that you can stay active and healthy as you age.
When you guys share our workouts & website with friends, you are helping us grow, and the faster we grow, the faster we are able to put out new workout videos. We very much appreciate the referrals and have no plan on slowing down when it comes to providing workout videos. We love what we are doing! Thank you all for watching and making this possible.
I've done many stretching routines but I can honestly say this is my favourite. Been following it for about 3 months now and I never thought I'd enjoy stretching as much as I do with this. Thanks a lot.
I am 36 years old and out of shape for my entire life. I couldn't touch my toes even as a child without bending my legs. When I started doing this routine, I couldn't really even reach past my knees when bending over. It's been about six weeks now. I do this about every day, and some days I do it 2-3 times. I use it as a warm up and a cool down. After two weeks I could touch my toes. After a month I could rest my knuckles on the floor. Six weeks in and I can put my palms flat on the floor. Range of motion is better in all of the muscle groups. The video is the perfect length and variety...I don't get bored but the stretches are held for long enough to really make a difference every time I do it. My life is changed. Thank you!
David I been doing it for 3 weeks now after I was told I have degenerate changes in my spine after I had a fall, it has helped me massively I feel so much lighter and flexible and my muscles feel plumped now 😊
I just wanna say that I volunteer with elderly people and run a workout routine for them and fitness blender your contentent is so easy to follow even my blind people I work with can follow it and keep in shape..
Talk to your doctor first, but routines like the one above can make a big difference in flexibility. Just be consistent and make sure not to force range of motion.
I just wanted to say thank you guys soooo much for this. I have had issues with my knees since I had my ACL replaced about 8 years ago and never completed my phys therapy + haven't been working out. My job keeps me active but I have lots of knee pain and then recently hurt my back. This video helped me realize just why I can't fully crouch or sit with my knees under me... it's because my quadriceps are extra tight, combined with knee pain. I'm slowly working on it and this video really helps me to get that full stretch without lots of pain. I feel so much better afterwards. Thanks for all of your excellent videos!
I have no way of telling you how long it will take you to be able to do the splits, but it is likely that stretching daily will help you become flexible enough, eventually, to be able to do the splits.
Thank you for this and the others rutines they help a lot and i saw results, even I didn't do it all days almost two or 3 in the week, but help me a lot in flexibility and relief pain in my back, thanks again
Hi guys! Thanks for posting your stretching routines -- it really helped me easy my hip / knee pain while running. Any chance you could upload stretching video that would show how to do a split? Thanks!
Best tutorial on lower body and range of motion fitness. I have back pain and my hip pain is very bad. I did two whole sets and when I stood up and proceeded with some forward motion, my pain is gone. Thank you for the training.
I just wanted to comment in hopes I help someone reading this: this exercise is amazing for my piriformis syndrome/sciatica. I feel absolutely amazing after this, nearly immediately. I pair this workout with their lower back/sciatica stretch video (i do not have lower back issues but whew, does this feel great either way. I highly recommend this video for anyone suffering from this horrible nerve pain because this really does make it all melt away!
I was having pain and aches after my treadmill workouts, but this video really helped in reducing the hip pain i was feeling!! Thank you so much! I now play this video after every workout i do!!!
I had abdominal surgery just over 2 months ago, and it's so amazing how tight my body is now. I can barely touch my toes, but I'm so happy to have started. I know it will take a while, but I will be much more flexible in no time with these stretches😄
Yes, but not the kind of stretching you're thinking - stretching the skin might temporarily reduce the appearance but overall fat loss is necessary for permanent results.
can u do a full body stretching routine that is good for people with fibromyalgia? love your videos!! i did the kettleball beginners workout last night and my whole body is sore!! :)
I find it really important to stretch after every workout. I don't know if it is all in my head but I end up less soared if I stretch enough after working out. Most workout videos don't include a complete stretching routine and take 5 seconds per stretch only. This video has been really helpful for me. Thanks!
wonderful for a simple and quick streching routine! I do both the upper body along with this lower body streching after I do my workout, and it feels wonderful! You can always increase or decrease the intensity of these streches, to your flexibility ability. Thanks!
Thank you fitness blender ! You're my go to for most exercisies and stretches! I can always find a video to fit my exercise and stretch needs! Thank you!
I feel like I comment on absolutely every video but I'm just in love with this channel. Thanks for this stretching routine, it felt great after y first workout in a week! I had to do low impact today but I can't wait to do more of your HIIT routines... I am a real big fan :D And rest assured that I have told all my friends about you, many are excercise junkies like me and love you as well!
Thanks so much, Kelli- I have started adding this on after leg day and it is helping so much. I also run and typicallly spend at least a couple a days a week hobbling in pain (esp. if I incorporate one of your Brutual Butt workouts into leg day). This is a great stretch and I particularly love all the hamstring variations. Much appreciated!
So if you warm up & then try to do these stretches daily or whenever you work out ... Will you become more flexible ?? Overtime of course :) Thanks & great video !
@lrobinson2584 So glad our video could help you out. These stretches have been a lifesaver for me because my hamstrings tend to get really tight, too. You will love the Brazilian Buttocks Lift video!
I've shared with two work colleagues today. Thank you so much for this as, getting older, I can't jog (my favourite sport) as much as I want and used to.
this stretch is really good the glute and hamstrings stretch was awesome it hurt a bit but felt good to stretch cause I dont think I've ever stretched those properly lol
Jennah Salaam yes you can do it after butt and thigh workouts (: Also my personal favorite after a leg day is this one "fitness blender cool down workout -- cool down stretching routine for flexibility" it's 13 mins long too.
I’m here to get a little bit more flexible, very grateful I maintained the ability to butterfly stretch after nine years lol. I can still press my head to my feet with my knees flat.
You hit it right on the nail! They are the best! I was on a hunt yesterday and stumbled across this channel. So very thankful I found them. They give us time to prepare, let us know while doing it if we're doing it the right way, and very clear instructions :0)
Another year this is still my favorite stretch routine for after leg day. Thank you so much.
Agreed
Mine too! It's just so simple and easy to follow
Been using this routine for years! Still my favorite!
LOVE IT!! Brian D you sound miserable
@@briand2321 literally what's the point in posting that? She was explaining how much she enjoyed the video by using a story. Fuck you.
Awesome compliment, you nailed everything we aim for! Thank you for the feedback, many more workouts on the way!

congrats
Thank you SO MUCH for not having music in the background! Great thorough stretch, clear direction, plus silence or my own music=PERFECT!
I like that the instructions are to the point and given in an straightforward eloquent way, makes it much easier to follow
Thank you very much :) We have many other stretching routines (and more on the way) have you checked those out?
Great, glad you like it! Pretty soon we will do a Total Body Stretching routine that is a bit more comprehensive.
@peakper4mance The standing quads stretch addresses the quadriceps, though you have a point in that we do tend to focus more heavily on the hamstrings in this video. One reason why is that the quads are stretched much more often than hamstrings in natural, everyday activities & movements. Good eye!

Stretching is one of the most important things in any exercise or workout !
@98JonasLover For strength training and toning moves, you should expect to feel a difference in 1-2 weeks. Is that what you meant?
Best lower body stretch I have done!
I'm still using this routine after 11yrs
Me too! ✋️😀
I'm glad you kept on saying breathe normally because if you didn't I would probably pass out 😂😂😂
😂
Macy k Huffman totally I will pass out😂🤣
Lol 😆!
Ditto...im like..."oh yea I almost forgot to breathe" lol
Just subed...I love that there's no music.
I am happy for you that you are seeing success in your efforts :)
who is doing this after leg day?
You should do it before your workout
You should do this after your leg day workout as a cool down. This helps stretch the muscles you've used and helps reduce the amount of soreness the next day.

Always swear by your workout videos and warm ups/cool downs! 🙌🏻 Thank you!
No - Static, prolonged stretching before a more strenuous strength or cardio workout raises your risk of injury.
Thank you so much! I have a race tomorrow I’m really nervous but after these stretches I’m confident!
@Jiphenner Thank you!
Have I told you guys since how many years I have been doing just this for my cool down! God bles bless bless you guyss!!
Best calf stretch I’ve learned so far
Hi guys!
Thanks for posting your stretching routines -- it really helped me easy my hip / knee pain while running. Any chance you could upload stretching video that would show how to do a split? Thanks!
Thank you. My hamstrings were tight and this greatly relieved the stress. Thank you
It is amazing seeing how far Fitness Blender has gotten and how many lives it has changed. I am thankful for this channel.
Best tutorial on lower body and range of motion fitness. I have back pain and my hip pain is very bad. I did two whole sets and when I stood up and proceeded with some forward motion, my pain is gone. Thank you for the training.
I tried this stretching exercises right after i did a butt workout, and the pain in my muscles has gone. Thank you))
OMG! Lol I'm loving these stretches man. Definitely need to do them at least twice a day.
the best thing is , you don't waste time, go straight to the agenda. thank you. I love your video and is in my daily routine
This would be good, though you may need some additional stretches in order to work yourself up to doing the splits.
Just what I needed! You have the most relaxed voice to listen to

I've shared with two work colleagues today. Thank you so much for this as, getting older, I can't jog (my favourite sport) as much as I want and used to.
this stretch is really good the glute and hamstrings stretch was awesome it hurt a bit but felt good to stretch cause I dont think I've ever stretched those properly lol
is this appropriate to do after butt and thigh workouts I know it says lower body but everyone else is saying its to do after leg workouts
Jennah Salaam yes you can do it after butt and thigh workouts (:
Also my personal favorite after a leg day is this one "fitness blender cool down workout -- cool down stretching routine for flexibility" it's 13 mins long too.
omg this felt great! about to do a lower body strength workout and then this again afterwards. thanks so much!!
It is not wise to stretch this much after a heavy workout, you must be very gentle to avoid injury
perfect for the morning and at the end of the day
I was wondering, if you could do an ankle stretch routine, in loving this, but i didnt get to see the ankle part.
I’m here to get a little bit more flexible, very grateful I maintained the ability to butterfly stretch after nine years lol. I can still press my head to my feet with my knees flat.
My body feels soooo much better after completing this. Thanks Fitness Blender
I just did it with Chinese relaxing music playing in background, and I feel wonderful :D
Wow I did not realize I was tight in so many areas. Thanks for this video. You talking through really helped me not wimp out with the hard ones.
Thanks. I started exercising daily a week ago, and I only knew the arm stretches.
You hit it right on the nail! They are the best! I was on a hunt yesterday and stumbled across this channel. So very thankful I found them. They give us time to prepare, let us know while doing it if we're doing it the right way, and very clear instructions :0)
Just did this,it really helped I had a practice for my cross country race for tomorrow and I really needed to untighten my legs for tomorrow
