"Rule number one, don't store cooked meat and raw meat in the same fuckin fridge".
Alldrey 777 You can, but on different shelves.
Raw food ALWAYS goes on the bottom shelf and must be covered and labeled. A standard fridge with 4 shelves may like this: Top Shelf: Produce, cheese, milk/cream, third shelf: Cooked and labeled meats. Second Shelf: Raw prepared meats, skinned, boned, and or seasoned. First shelf: Boxed or sealed raw meat, temped on delivery. labeled.
You didn't fuckin listen. Rule number one, don't store cooked meat and raw meat on the same fuckin shelf in the same fuckin fridge!
NicYoong Productions I'm no food expert, but why don't they go together
you can really learn alot about cooking from this show
Well in a home fridge it happens, but i do get it, just don't put them near each other really. some of the other ones that had things closed up, nobody getting on their ass ok i get it, but the rotten stuff is where it's just wrong... One thing to fuck up and accidentally place raw and cooked food too close, it's another to have someone PAY for rotten meat...

The most common lesson I've learned from Gordon Ramsay even if I'm not interested on being a chef is that;
"Rule No.1 in Cooking Manners: Don't store raw meat with cooked meat."
Same here
Also i have learnt a BIG NONO , always clean ur kitchen and remove any food that has been kept for 1 days least .
And my old fast food place did that
And never cut anything where you have been cutting / preparing raw meat / fish before without cleaning the knives/ boards / surfaces very carefully.
Edit: this mistake is often made with salad, after cutting let's say.....carrrots or potatoes, which will join the pot and cook with the meat thorroughly, so there is at least no real danger in doing it, despite it being unhygenic and in no way suitable for a cook's standards. But once this behaviour slips your mind, there comes the mistake of cutting some herbs that will not be cooked and there comes the Noro Virus or Salmonella...
@@janedoex1398 i am from an indian family and most of the time when there is extra food we usually keep it in the fridge

16:29 You know what? Props to that woman. That's the most honest and straightforward ANY of the staff have ever been in these shows, and she said it so humbly too.
It actually baffles me how low the food standards are in the US. I worked in a chain pub for a few months in the UK and the food might have been shit but at least it wouldn’t fucking kill anyone.
Genuinely. Like, people in the US mock us for having bland and tasteless food, but when you find out what actually goes in the food in the US to make it so supposedly tasty? I'll take my "bland" food, thank you very much.....
Freeeeedddddoooooommmm!
They aren't low, it's just people in a business they don't have passion, experience, or care for. Most people you see on KN don't have experience in the business, let alone cooking, so it comes out shit.
It is worth pointing out that above are not following health standards most restaurants are solid you would probably enjoy them. Also the US doesn't have a monopoly on this kind of restaurant.
@@Jason_Wilhelm I probably should have made myself clearer. I understand that these people aren’t following the minimum requirements and the health inspectors are paid off to pass them. I think it’s baffling that places exist with hygiene health and safety standards so low. It just doesn’t exist in the UK.
"You'll kill somebody!"
Cameraman: "Watches man eat rotten food, says nothing"
R/wooosh to me, but i can say that somepeople actually have very sensitive bodies and can have a very bad allergic reaction to anything contaminated or had molds or worse is a bit rotten.
I imagine they're saying something in their heads, or trying to hard not to make faces or be sick. You gotta have a strong stomach to film some of these places.
@@hansdavis7335 yeah, I've been eating raw meat for some time, but I let it marinate on lemon juice to reduce the bacteria content. I think I could tank some of those places food, but that's unsure, since they leave old food to build up bacteria (hence the sauerness where it shouldn't be) and, judging by the mess of the majority of those places, it could be contamined with anything. Pork with chicken, chicken with pork, beef with fish... You can't really predict wich strains of bacteria will be in each food on those conditions... You could have high concentrations of E.Coli and salmonella on the salad of some of those places!!!
Steven Silveus I do believe...I may be wrong...but I think camera crews are not allowed to get involved. They’re only allowed to film and that’s it.

I have no idea how Gordon can stomach prying apart and fingering rotten food, every kitchen and freezer inspection he always does it without flinching
Hell, I was almost surprised he didn't yank a cockroach and started prying it open and criticizing how rotten _it_ was to the managers
It’s really pathetic when an actual kitchen that serves people food for MONEY, functions worse than my high school’s cafeteria, and the people who work in my high school’s cafeteria are the students ffs
It’s the cooking class that I took for three years in a row (it’s how I got my food safety certificate) and even when people hated each other’s guts, it got put aside so everyone could do their work, we got marked for how good the food was, how well we served it and how well we worked as a team, and every year I got put in a group with a girl who I had this mutual hatred with, she and I were always butting heads, but even when we complained, it didn’t slow us down, we were two of the best students in the class, but that’s not the point
The point is, a high school cafeteria, run by students and ONE adult, functioned more properly than professional kitchens run by trained cooks
A bit late, but ngl that's pretty fucking impressive! Putting personal feelings aside from work is difficult for mature adults! The fact that you guys managed it as kids is nothing short of brilliant! I'd love to hear more about this system your school had. Seems pretty interesting.
@@hexnagumo4102 essentially, there were three cooking classes to take up the three periods for the morning, first period would be in charge of baked goods, brownies, cookies, etc, second period would begin preparation for larger meals such as roast chicken, mashed potatoes, things like that, they’d prep that for the third period class to finish, and the third period class (the class I was always in) was the class that would take place right before lunch, so we’d finish all preparations for lunch, we’d make the soup, prep salads and sandwiches, finish or cook the main course depending on what the main course is (larger projects such as roast chicken had collaborative work between the first and second periods, while smaller meals like tacos were done by third period students) and then the third period students would stay during lunch to run the kitchen
One student (most of the time a grade 12 student) would be chosen as Sous Chef, and would keep things running smoothly while still doing their own work, everyone else would be put into groups for the semester and their jobs would change daily, so one day you’d be on salads, the next on main course, the next dish pit, and on and on, and that was how things ran
And of course every year I got put in a group with this girl who I never saw eye to eye with, yet we were the hardest workers of the bunch, to the point where we’d almost run the kitchen better than the Sous Chef, such as when we were on dish pit, we wouldn’t be getting much dishes so we’d go around, collect dishes and make sure everyone was doing their work properly
Even when only one student in a group showed up, they’d work nearly flawlessly, one day I was working salad station and the front counter had nobody, so I had to work front counter, I had multiple dishes in just my two hands, moving fast yet efficiently, that when I finally revealed I didn’t even have a lunch for myself, everyone else paid, I got a sandwich and a taco in a bag, and a chocolate milk, just for the fact I worked front counter singlehandedly on one of our busiest days
Taco in a bag day was always a nightmare for us, because we had to work fast to keep up, and that’s not always accounting for messes in between or slip ups
Anyway, we ordered our ingredients and food from the same places professional kitchens and restaurants did, and the teacher wasn’t always there to sign the order or put stuff away, one day it was just me and the Sous Chef for ten minutes before class when everything showed up, and we had to put everything away ourselves, meaning we’d also learned about proper food storage, sanitation, and just how to keep a kitchen clean and tidy, as well as safe
Now it wasn’t anything super fancy, and since the food was checked by everyone, and if a mistake was made the teacher would make sure everyone knew about it (not to be mean, but to ensure it wasn’t repeated), the kitchen ran super smoothly, very rarely did something go wrong which was good since the health inspector would show up unannounced, and the teacher wouldn’t warn us, hell sometimes we’d just think it was another teacher coming for a visit (teachers could do that during their own spare periods) and we wouldn’t realize it was the health inspector until the next day
It wasn’t easy, there were stressful times, like when one 9th grader started a grease fire and almost threw water on it and my friend had to tackle them to stop them, but end of the day, I’m glad I took the class, because it gave me some kitchen skills that had me considering a career in cooking for a while, it’s not currently what I’m going for but it’s good to have these skills in case I ever decide it’s what I wanna do
Side tangent: 9th graders were new to the cooking classes, so I couldn’t hold it against them…but everyone knows you don’t throw water on a grease fire…I wanted to punch him so bad

Working for minimum wage in fast food, my coworkers and I still had a better sense of food safety than these guys did. Maybe I should become a chef.
“That is Veal- Arr you dirty bastard”
😂
Curse of Ramsay: any customer near Gordon ramsay’s vicinity becomes a professional food critic
More like the blessing of Ramsay 😂😂
For the shows where he goes and rehabs other people's restaurants, he does bring in some of his crews
It's kind of annoying
He has some kind of "area of effect" ability unlocked 😂
true that
Gordon Ramsay: People who are eating rn STOP
People who just finished: *shit*
Would be funnier if they said "everyone who has finished a dish please go to the toilet and throw up" XD
😂😂😂 the truth in this
DariusPumma if I saw him coming in with his camera crew I’d be like 😳🤮
😆👍💯
well that is probably, what they are going to be doing for the next few days. shitting.
Gordon Ramsay doesn't even care what he touches, he just gets the point through.
11:01 - The most British reaction to being shouted at by Gordon Ramsay
Why am I on a Gordon Ramsay binge watch? *I have no fucking clue.*
Bottled FUCKING anger. FUCK ME...

"That's older than me" one sentence, one legend
“This is facking older then me!”
I love that he’s brutally honest but also funny at the same time lmao
Gordon: "Has a customer just been served a slice of tomato!?"
Diner: "No no no no..."
Cameraman: *I'm about to end this whole man's career*
Cameraman always ends career 😭
@Stefan van der Sandt well at the end of the day you know what I meant :P
Has a customer been served a slice of TOMATOOOO
More like the restaurant’s whole career
It's rooooooooten look at it
Gordon really gives 0 fcks about his safety. Like every time he picks up that slimy ass food I literally die inside. I cant.
You can feel when something is bad, sometimes it will smell fine but you touch it and you can tell right away.
I'm the same, I don't know how he does it.
@@leishayoung4124 If I recall correctly it's why he quit the show, all the awful food literally started effecting his health. Stomach ulcers I believe.
@@greenthumb9406 Seriously??
No, you don't "literally" die.
