Ford 6.7 Powerstroke Injector Seal Replacement. This is by far one of the most common oil leaks I see on the 6.7 Powerstroke engine. Injector seal replacement is not easy but can be tackled!

On the truck with cab on I'll use a washer the same size of the seal and tighten down the injector hold down. Sets it in perfect.

It’s not always the o rings on the valve cover leaking. It can also be the upper o rings on the injectors. There should be no oil on the top of the injector… it could be a compilation of both seals..

I have a 2016 6.7 diesel with 97,000 miles and it broke a piston or spin a rod bearing. It has not been pulled hard never gotten hard oil changed regularly. My wife and I are heartbroken over this because we can’t afford $16,000 engine.

I can see why u take the whioe cab off all the time .because ford dont make things with repairabilty in mind.they make every thing so hard to work on .gm and Chrysler are
