The smell which I got from the whiskey is methanol CH3OH not of ethanol which should be from any alcohol, it tastes so good to me and it's so smooth and with in taking a few sips I feeled so good and dunken such a marvellous thing these Scotch people have made 🤩

Laphroaig is the original definition of Scotch whisky. Rightly mentioned- the most flavourful of all scotch whisky.

For those into peat Ardbeg 10 is a must try. Also if one wants to try the extremes nothing can beat Bruichladdich Octomore 8.3. It has phenol level of 309 ppm. In comparison Laphroaig has a level of between 40 -50 ppm and Ardbeg around 55 ppm.
I have tried Ardbeg 10 but didn't get chance to try Octomore 8.3 looking forward to it.

Caol Ila is also renowned as a very smoke
heavy whisky. It also forms the smoky base in most johnnie walkers. Request you to do a review on the same.

I have gifted this whisky to myself yesterday for New Year celebration.. aadhi botal peekr bhi smjh nhi aaya raha ab tak ki vo tha kya? Still confused.. sometimes face pr smile aati hai sometimes shock mein aa jata hu... Karela hai vakyi.. but yeah, ab 1-2 hafta sharaab nhi piyunga and my next whisky is Lagavulin 16.... anyways, Happy New Year Man! Cheers 🥃

I would like to request you to review regular Ardbeg 10 or corryvreckan at your convenient time. I myself a big fan of Ardbeg and keep them secured in my cabinet. Through your Channel people should know that there are other lot of Islays which might taste better than Laphroaig, especially I found triple wood too dull with respect to its price and definitely not the most richly flavored whisky as it’s written on the bottle. Thanks that you take time and provide your opinion about lots of popular whiskys .

Bhai peat is not a Kai but dead vegetation. It is the precursor of coal. Peat agar further million years k liye age ho jaaye toh coal ban jayega. I am a power plant Engineer isliye bol raha hu. I have great knowledge about these fuels

LAPHROAIG 10 IS ENTRY LEVEL WHISKY IN SMOKY WHISKIES ,to get real smoky test,next level is LAGAVULIN 16.MORE COMPLEX NOTES YOU WILL GET DEFINITELY.
Lagavulin 16 has more complex tastes. I agree. But Laphroaig is much more smokier. A younger Islay whisky will always be more smokier, the older it gets the peat flavor gets lighter and turns into other flavours. I am not sure about Lagavulin 8. Haven't tried it.
There are more aged version of Laphroaig

Bhai Glenmorangie Quinta ruban try kijiye. Highland whisky with port cask finish. Polar opposite of Laphroaig. Well Laphroaig is my personal favourite. True definition of scotch

Yaar the first time I tried it, I felt as if my head had been shoved into a hospital's trash bin. Could only smell iodine and bandages.
Hahaha. You are right. But as I mentioned, this is an acquired taste. I dont think anyone would like first time.
@@MBsMancave I beg to differ here, I fell in love with this whisky the first time I had it and ever since it has never been out of my cabinet
@@zag5250 I fell in love with Lagavulin 16 with my first sip. I guess it's a matter of aging. The Lagavulin's smokiness is calm and slow whereas the Laphroaig jumps out at you.
@@sshakababy perhaps you are right, but since I keep my endeavors limited to 10 or 12 year expressions i have not experienced what you just said. Nonetheless I find Laphroaig to be a very sipable malt, one which is unparalleled and incomparable. My humble opinion - that's all :}
