As a Japanese Professor, I was introduced to this whiskey in Japan and yes it is a balance between intensity and lightness in this blend, doesn’t need an opening with water. I enjoy it over a single cube as a perfect sundowner. Yes it is 12/10. Thank you for a great review.

I have tasted this whiskey once, its absolute delight to have this one. So smooth & steady.
Today in Telangana State it costs us 17,000 rupees a bottle of HIBIKI whisky.
Thank you so much for this review. Great way to celebrate 2 years of togetherness. Looking forward to have it in the future.
One thing I would like to mention here that I feel such a price is ok for a whiskey like this as it is made in Japan and as we all know that technologically Japanese are the best in the world and this applies for their whiskey as well.

Mera friend aa raha hai aaj Dubai se. Usko bola tha Macallan 12 laane k liye but shayad duty free par nahi milti. Sasure ne Bruichladdich, The Laddie 8 purchase kar li.
Ab regular Bruichladdich aur is wali me kya difference hai aapko pata ho to bataiye.
@ Amit verma I must say Bruichaladdich and classic laddie is far better than Macallan if you are looking for happeninh sort of dram. I find Macallan quite boring .
