My favourite Scotch Whisky followed by Laphroaig and Talisker. The brine/briny taste , which leads to the wet earthy flavour. It smells like the aroma after the first rain. After a taxing week , having a peg of this is such a nice way to unwind.

Great video. My third best single malt. Impossible to find in Delhi. Can't have any thing apart from Laphroaig 10, Lagavulin 16 and Ardberg 10.

Isla region whiskeys are intriguing... After watching this video did some research on this whiskey and found out that this whiskey in 2011 was taken to international space station in a sample bottle with charred oak sticks and aged there for 2.5 years... After bringing back to earth, the notes were entirely different from the Earth's whiskey... 😊

It’s a totally different category , Ardbeg is peaty, smoky , tastes of brine, iodine, marine ... but just to answer you shortly if you are looking just for “ smoothness “ stick with all the glens
