Now all you need is a 3 legged drummer

Call the backup from Fukusima ! ))
For the haters : The audience does not care how the sound is produced, there is no such thing as cheating if you get the desired sound. This product is not for me, but I think it's really cool.
I am disabled, but I play drums. This could finally allow me to play double bass
Get it!
First have to save some money
This is gofundme material and you should use it to your advantage. I'm usually pretty eh about the whole crowdfunding thing but this is something I'd donate a few dollars to. Honestly, most people ESPECIALLY in the online metal community will eat that shit up and you'll have enough to buy those pedals within 24 hours of sharing it.
Exactly. The drumming community is so pretentious about skill and technique. Yet they forget, when all the classic drummers of the 70's came around, who the hell were they following or practicing? No one and nothing lol. You play until you define your style, and like myself as well, my feet were left pretty fucked exiting the Army, I can manage double bass fine but my nerves go numb. This allows people to play the music they love at a comfortable level. Its not about showing off.
+Joe Peffer Well said sir
The triple pedal costs over one thousand dollars.
I'm not joking.
Thanks for answering my question..I'm I retested in the double. Wonder where to get it and how much..?
Wtf
I'D PROBABLY STILL BUY IT
What?!? Its so expensive!!
*I'LL BUY IT!*
That is sick over a thousand dollars get the F outta here
This was made for playing Hot for Teacher
The original track is single bass and a stomping good time on a big floor tom.
FINALLY
Just play it with your stand
So damn true
HAHA! That's exactly what I just thought.
Coming next:
The octuple pedal for metheads who think they are an octopus
That's Nicko Mcbrain of Iron Maidens nickname. The octopus.
release the kraken
This comment made me think of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan
in the future when meth will be mandatory
*Danny Carey has entered the chat*
Put two double thumpers on each kick drum and BAM you're drumming at 3000 bpm.
ikr thought the same thing
The Wandering Internet Wizard then add Aaron kitcher
9001 bpms
That shit would just sound like a weed eater.
Wanna hear me recite all 50 states in under a second? BLEH!
Peter...you just yelped really loud.
Something along those lines.
Then you have Infant Annihilator's drums lol
Hell I thought that single dual pedal alone was insane
Look up the band "Henker"...
mygroinisonfire dude William Bonney is sick!
I have never seen one before. I can't get my head around. It looks like witchcraft
This pedal is only good up to 250 bpm if you want to go faster stick to axis longboards
How about two bass drums and two dualist pedals.....
with the right drummer it could sound amazing.
There are videos out there of people using Sonor Giant Step pedals, which worked similar. Playing that fast sounds quite ridiculous... like a constant tone
ua-cam.com/video/V2i9ORJ5NCA/v-deo.html
I like your style
@@ThomasAbts well, in that video he's triggering samples, that's why it sounds like a machine gun. I would like to hear the natural sound of the kick drums, I'd guess it's just a huge mush.
@@mikosoft Sure. Since you can't hit hard at that speed, without triggers it would be only a low volume rumble.
Duallist: triple beater for fast easy triplets
Tomas Haake: hold my beer....
All of you think it's cheating, then Rob Scallon will find some way to write a beautiful song using it and then everyone will want one
Probably
The most accurate thing I've ever seen
*slow clap* Well done sir.
+Joshua Whitley Brilliant.
+Joshua Whitley Who the fuck is Rob Scallon?
Every year there seems to be an extra bass drum pedal added, worse than mens razor blades

I had my left hip replaced from an injury in the year 2010 and I've been struggling for 11 years to get back my double bass skills. At my peak, I could play almost anything at any speed on my pedal - odd time, blast beats, you name it, no problem. After the surgery and lots of rehab, I'm still at about 50% of my ability that I once had and it has been heartbreaking at times. The dualist pedals may be my answer to putting double bass back into my skill set until I can try to get my left leg to be at least 90% as good as my right leg.
Ah that sucks we take for granted even simple movments wish you the best
You're not alone man. Something similar happened with my hand and I'm getting back after 2 years💪
Hot for teacher was never that easy to do
That was exactly what I was thinking.
Right?! Was just thinking that!
beat me to it XD
first thing that came to mind!
Yep still struggling with the double pedal part of it.
Laughing my ass off reading the comments saying "cheating"

@@Ryan-qn1wr hell yeah dude

Give this pedal to Lars Ulrich
I don't know why but this made me laugh my fucking ass off
LOL
Fabian Honor Actually, it's a good idea xD
He will still find a way to fuck it up.
+Fabian Honor I think Brann Dailor needs one. Although he is literally the best drummer of the face of the Earth, it will be cool to see him playing with one of those suckers on his kit if you know what I mean. It would sound so fucking amazing!!!!!!
This completely changes the way you play the drums. If you think any asshole is just going to be able to pick this up and perform extremely technical and precise beats, you're mistaken. It might allow the noob to play really fast and accurate single stroke, but outside of that lame boring beat, it just makes everything harder and more complicated. It's really just a tool to take already advanced drumming to the next level.
William st john
Uh... what?
let me guess. you use triggers?
itsKYbro nothing wrong with triggers. They don't help your speed at all or help you "cheat"; they just help make the kit more audible at higher speeds instead of it sounding like a rumbling thunder.
Kevin Benoit wrong lol with triggers you can be doing a technique completely wrong and half-assed but a trigger will make it sound like you're doing it to perfection. If your bass drum sounds like rumbling thunder then get a new mic or get a new soundman.
bigD2387 you obviously don’t know how triggers work. They literally pick up the slightest hit depending on the sensitivity setting. If you play something half assed, the trigger will just amplify how shitty you’re playing.
There's more beaters in this video than a trailer park
oof
lol
Hahaha
So THATS how Alex Van Halen played the Hot For Teacher intro
Taylor Malone 😂
Exactly what I was thinking
Actually it was played superfast on toms
How dare you!?!?!
It's a shuffle groove so tell me how you could even do that with that pedal playing the notes evenly.
Wrong wrong wrong.
Disrespectful and hurtful.
@@jamesthomison4356 WHAT????
NO NO NO!!!! Watch a cover of it on UA-cam for goodness sake.
One pedal double beater??? That's some good sorcery right there!!!
This is like the equivalent of a nine-string guitar.
not really getting the analogy here.
***** A lot of people in the comments here think this pedal is a bit of a gimmick, like how some guitarists see extended-range guitars (namely 9-strings) as a gimmick, too. Kinda like a dick measuring contest.
+deathbastardable Poor analogy. This pedal is like a guitar that can sweep pick itself. Three kick drums with single pedals are like a 9 string guitar.
+deathbastardable Not is like if you have 6 fingers and 3 hands and 2 picks!
+deathbastardable I know you're not saying you think a 9-string is a gimmick(which maybe you do), but I think it's practical as a main guitar if it's multi-scale and especially if tuned basically like an 8-string but with a high A. I think a 3rd low string compared to standard 6-string is a bit overkill, but some people could probably make good use of it. At that point it's really a bass/guitar hybrid which is kinda cool, but most people just couldn't really make good use of it and it shows a lot of the time.
“I once had a pearl set of drums... this is something all together new.. I love it... maybe one day I’ll get another set and incorporate this in it.... thinking the double would be perfect 👀👀👍👍🥁
Thank you for the tutorial.respect.i can see people who be honest or not while doing their job.thank you.hope all going good for you man
I've been a drummer for 23 years and a professional live/Studio production tech for over 6 years. I don't care how you choose to perform your music just as long as you get out what is in your head to your fans. I have an electric/acoustic hybrid kit for my band. We use loops, one shots, and our own recorded samples. These tricks are considered cheating as well. However, you would be surprised by how many of your favorite bands are now using these CHEATS. Personally, i am really considering this product even though I can do double kick.
they make these tools for the less gifted generation
+jakhari123 I'm not a drummer but I would guess that the triple pedal would require additional skill to use effectively not less skill, the haters probably just couldn't work it.
MrMnchstr I honestly don't think it's necessary to have a double pedal that's just me though
+Adam Hartley Well said. Music/Art isn't a competition, so there really is no such thing as cheating. If it sounds good it is good.
+jakhari123 I can't imagine metal without a double kick. It'd be lacking in speed compared to the rest of the kit where the drummer is doing blast beast, etc.
I'm throwing away my whole drum kit except for the bass drum and I'm just gonna play with my feet from now on 😂
Get a Farmer FootDrum!
You can one up Def Leppard.

Oh my god....just started playing drums (always been my favorite instrument, dunno why I waited so long). Using all four limbs to make a zillion combinations is amazing. Now this just cubed that zillion.
Where has this cheat code been all my life! Buying the "single" double pedal
Lars Ulrich NEEDS one of those ! He should endorse them !!
Thomas Haake is a great drummer, Lars Ulrich has become as bad as you can get !
No, Trey Williams needs one
Nvm, I took that of context, I thought you were suggesting that he was good, lol
+Soydementiras Only if it connects to the snare drum....otherwise ...no go.
Haha, for some unnecessary fils ;)
This is amazing! Been playing for a pretty long time but just started seriously playing double kick as im auditioning for a metal band but really got stuck, i will keep practising but if i don't get fats enough in time i could try this one out.
I havn't really kept up with drum tech for a couple too many years and my brain just hummed with the possibilities of the technology.
MindF*#%ingBlown...!!
I can see this becoming popular among disabled combat vets, who have lost a leg/foot.
Good idea, guys!
thats the only acceptable reason to use one of these.
@@theonenonlykyler what about, "It's easier"
@@TheAngryMoth104 ur mums 'easier'
Playing smarter not harder. You know how many metal drummers physically burn out before age 45 these days? This open up a possibility for new beats, grooves and styles. For someone like me with damaged arches, im not going to kill myself to learn the "techniques" the drumming community demands all players learn. I have my own style, and again, I would totally use this if it meant less physical strain and damage to your body if you have problems. People get to pretentious about their craft.
Okay, what did he do? You just called him out because having damaged arch means "he cannot play his instrument". You're the son of a bitch right here, if you think having a health issue equates to that, then you're the one who "can't play his instruments right". Go fuck yourself and have a bad day.
Fuckin' elitist.
I'm not a drummer but this has given me a new found respect them. Incredible!
This is awesome 🔥
all these people saying it's cheating probably can't play with a double pedal anyways
Darth Xander You Know xD (That's True)
Darth Xander haha I agree with you.
well yes and no. i play double bass which would make these pedals retarded tho lol
the main reason the double kick pedal was invented was to was not for cheating... it was designed to save space and the wear and tear of tearing down a double bass drum set
I can play I also am getting a triple pedal makes every thing a bit easier.
Imagine Dave Lombardo using this pedal. 😳
or Mario Duplantier
george Kollias 400bpm xd
tony royster as well
He has too much pride to use such a thing !!!!
you know most black metal drummers are faster than slayer without a third kick right? it would be the same Dave lombardo

Crazy stuff! I gotta get me one of these!!
I like the fact that none of the pedals are linked in the decription👍
Wow triple pedal!! That’s the future of death metal drumming🤘🏼
learn something new I've been playing since the mid-90s and I never heard of a single double bass drum pedal before that was cool!!
This is crazyyyyy! Welcome to the new era
Walk by Periphery in that intro...
Caught me off guard
Caught me off guard as well great song tho. Classic shit
Caught me pretty off guard too tbh

Nice to see that Craig Ferguson found a sales gig after the show ended
I wanted this SO HARD when I was 14. Was just reminded of it

I don't get it
+Jay Ward Their Drummer lost his leg in a Bus Crash they had a few months ago. He's having to learn a new way to use double bass
Finally I can play "Wrong way on the 1 way street!" With drums!
I never knew I needed one until now...
UNBELIEVABLE!
I can imagine Nicko Mcbrain being pissed off from this.
@DamageIncM Nicko doesn't like the idea of Double Pedals or Double bass at all.He thinks it's "undrummer-ish".
@Sunrider Nicko isn't a twat you idiot. He's just a great drummer who doesn't use double pedal. No one should care about how a drummer wants to play. There are a lot of metal drummers who doesn't use double pedal like Tommy Lee or Matt Cameron. Even the greatest drummer John Bonham didn't use one all of his life. He isn't a metal drummer but I'm sure he can play metal had he lived a longer life.
Would like to see Francesco from Fleshgod Apocalypse overwhelm speed of light on this thing
You've got some problems with that?
that drummer would probably destroy his bass head every song using that pedal
+Jim B. coming from the guy who probably only listens to van Halen go somewhere else where you actually wanted we don't need your bullshit here
Nice one, Kev!
Too COOL ! Always wanted one.
Hi I have a paralysed right foot and at the moment I’m using a double kick pedal and playing the hats with my left toes and using the left heal for the kick I’ve been using this system for around a year now but finding it inconsistent is there any products to help me improve my drumming thanks 🙏
One thing I would suggest is using the double beater single pedal so you can have double pedal, then incorporate a couple midi pads for your hi hats. Program one midi for closed hats and a second for open hats, then you wouldn't need to worry about the hi hats pedal so much. If you still wanted hi hats, use a remote hihat system. You could position your hi hats somewhere comfortable and have a ton of freedom with where and how you place the pedal.
For years things were good enough with one pedal. Today we've evolved up to three. I see where this is going and I'm going to skip ahead and start fabricating a six pedal system. Seriously though, this is soo damn cool.
Rumor has it that development is in progress to create a bass drum pedal that attaches to the twig and berries.
you can add 5 pedals for each foot so you can play the bassdrum so fast that it becomes a constant sound and gets a frequence that resembles a tone. so you basically elevated the drum into a melodic instrument by then
That triple pedal demo was INSANE
Why have I watched this every year for the past 4 years
Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more c̶o̶w̶b̶e̶l̶l̶!̶ Kick drum!
Cool! Now Lars Ulrich has a reason to play Dyer’s Eve again!
Lmao
Four Horsemen properly
Great 👍🏼 thanks for uploading
The bass drum sounds so good
why not a quad bass drum pedal?
I know you're largely joking, but look up Henker quad pedal on UA-cam. There's some guy who used to put up videos of playing 2 Sonor Giant Step pedals. Those have two beaters on each pedal, but are quite different than Duallist pedals - they have a second pedalboard on the heel-plate, so everything is controlled independently. It's super hard to learn, I picked up a cheap knockoff design for fun, but I gave up after a bit.
C V because you touch yourself at night lol idk jk it’s actually a good idea.
Why not 6 or 7 or 10 or how about a 20 beater double bass pedal? What the fuck
C V that’s called heel toe my friend
i want that because i like single pedal but for my band i need a double sound
All 3 going at once sounds amazing
This is insane. Unbelievable!😮
How do you "cheat" at music? Some of the comments on this page are asinine. What's next? I tune my bass drum head tighter to facilitate my playing. Is that cheating? Where do I go to appeal my case?
exactly. this invention makes it easier to play the bass drum, it doesn't play an entire song for you or correct your mistakes in real time like autotune, both of which would be considered actual cheating. you still gotta hit properly and on time.
exaxtly this pedal= cheat
Thanks for the positive and infomative posts Ret1173..I am the guy that barely scratched the surface in the video :) , would you please message me by email through the Duallist website or by Facebook message to Duallist Drums Pedals page as I am keen to share your experiences with the pedal and see what you can do with it. Cheers. Kevin, Duallist Designer

or instead of being a pretentious twat with three beaters that you "have to learn" you can play a double and get good. sorry but you're whack excuses for not having skill are annoying.
You made that look easy...... something tells me it's not and you've spent a good few hours getting that down........Great demonstration... Thank you.

OMFG! I HAVE TO GET THIS, IT'S TRULY GAMECHANGING!
"When you add the third beater, you enter 'Alex Van Halen mode' and can now play the intro to Hot for Teacher."
I don't get how people would consider these cheating. It's literally just a more modern and way more efficient way to play fast (if you choose to use it that way). You're still hitting the bass drum that fast, it's just way easier to do now.
