@@frogmantactical May God bless you and your family too, and may God also give us what we need to act/react correctly and properly defend our country from the people behind this chaotic mess, especially to non-military Americans like me who love their country and are armed to defend it and the Constitution that defines it.
I was just thinking the same thing.
Very cool comment. Cheers. Not sure why they shared the love with me. Im a rebel in the family.
"You might look cool, but when it comes to performance, your gonna suck" Classic
💪🏻
I love it...No BS, No Frills, and Straight to the point...watched some of your other videos too...you do a great job and super informational. 8 years US Army Phycological Ops guy here....just wish all of mine did not go overboard in a freak boating accident.
Lol. Thank you.
Have a great day and God bless.
You too!? Damn boats man.
Jason Pike does an outstanding job of providing just what you need to know in a manner that is easy to understand. He can convey in a short time what it takes others much longer to accomplish. Excellent work!
Thanks for your service and thanks for putting this vid out man, ready to rock! Nice being able to carry as a ccw, little perks are great. Keep your head down and your barrel up, God Speed. 🇺🇲
Just finished the video thanks again I love your demeanor you think before you speak, calm... not jumping around exaggerating everything
Straight forward explanations, clear and simple. Rugged quality components. Thank you for your insights.
Subbed. You look and talk like you have the real world experience to be giving AR build advice and I love the no bullshit approach. Thanks for the content, man.
Great video. Shows that you don’t need all the latest and greatest high-speed gear. UA-cam suggested this just now. Reading the comments it looks like a lot of us just got the same thing. Subbed.
Finally! A Tier-1 operator who shoots LEFTY! I'll be subscribing! Great video, followed the A-B-C's of a good briefing: Accuracy, Brevity, and Clarity. :) I'll check out the BAD for my pistol. Thanks!
Wow. Great video. Plain. Simple. And to the point. I will admit that you are the first seal "I've seen" who uses a pressure pad on his light. Glad to see it from a different perspective.
I’m glad you broke this down - I was wanting to know what set up you had. Thank you sir.
Bravo-Zulu! Outstanding presentation I am a former USN AT2 (2003-09) that is now building custom guns from my own shop after long hard rehab period. I build my AR in a very similar matter!
Appreciate your review, brother. Just picked up a 10.5" and you gave me some insights I had not yet thought of.
Hope all is well with you and your fam. God bless you also.
Thank you for clear and concise information on an affordable set up.
Very useful as I'm getting my new pistol build ready to. Glad I went with the 10.5 inch too. Thanks for the accessory tips and sharing of your field experience
I’m not too concerned with long range with an AR. With the way things have been going it seems to be all urban unrest 100 yards or less.
then a squad has 4 m16 w/ ACOG from 200m away splits your brain
@@RubensBarrichello. By that point, a field upgrade is in order anyway. The way of the rat. lol
Yes for sure but don't not train further distances because you have the mindset you will always be behind closed doors. It won't always be that way.
Have a great day and God bless
It's better to stay out of sight,....like you were never there!close quarters are for the adrenaline junkies who like getting shot in their armor,to let them know they are still alive.lol
@@RubensBarrichello. unless they’re special ops I doubt it. Infantry can’t hit shit from 200m out lol
Thank you for your service! Im proud to have people like you in are side!
🙏
Awesome video, made me feel better about my choice of barrel length. Thank you for your service sir. God bless
Nice set up man and good info! And thank you for your service!
Great video love your setup 👍😊 this is thee most practical setup for most people.. people get carried away with a sniper setup on an AR .. in the real world most of us will never hav e a long shot .. keep it simple and light..
Great video I asked my cousin the same questions he's SWAT but he pretty much is saying the same thing so glad too see a honest answer out on video thank you for your service
HATS OFF TO THE BADDEST MEN ON THE PLANET!!!!THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!!
You are welcome. I would appreciate it if you watched some of my other videos.
Have a great day and God bless.
I have not many knowledges about guns but I could learn and understand what you saying. Thank you for sharing your knowledges and techniques!
Yumika Eastham Thank you. I’m glad you could understand it. 🐸🔱
His calm delivery and humble demeanor is perfect to listen and retain the information. Add the fact he is a dead eye killer it’s a perfect match. He has integrity as all our warriors need.
I like the frog man straight up no B.S. no additives no filler
Thank you for the words!
Have a great day and God bless
I appreciate that too!
Real talk. and if you notice he doesn't have a flashy, Guccie'd out AR either. His is a totally Utilitarian, no holds barred, Grizzled AR. Outstanding!
Always great info from this channel. Looking forward to more. Thank you Mr Pike
More to come!
Thanks for your service and excellent advice for us Civilians. I will step up my training and stay at it.
Simple but awesome set up . It all makes sense and is affordable. People always try to push the higher end gear but good to see reasonable price items that work and last. Thanks.
Just watched one of your videos .
Great information keep them coming.
Thank you Sir, first for your Service and our freedom. Secondly, for sharing your wealth of operational wisdom with us, so that we may be better with whatever options we choose to build our own weapon. Thank you and God Bless!
God bless you as well 🙏
Just bought one of these. Law Tactical adapter is on back order. Thanks for the review! Subscribed!
Love that your a fellow lefty! Subscribed! Definitely emphasize that in your channel and build content around that.
Outstanding video. Thank you and God Bless Texas! It's good to be here.
My man keep it real and simple
Thank you
Love the video sir. Great job explaining (Not telling us what we should or shouldn't have)
As i listen to your video I can sense your wisdom behind your words. Good video. You got my subscription
Nice video and on point ! I just stumbled onto your channel and watched this video.
After retiring, I worked in a gun shop and the questions I constantly get from newer or potential gun owners,
"Which gun is the best ?" or "Which gun should I buy ? " Like you said, the answer were always a few questions,
What are you looking to do with it and what is your realistic budget ? (budget always including ammo )
These were not trick questions, but it was there to obtain the best options for the individual.
Looking forward into seeing more videos. Hooyah.
it's always 100% the guy behind the platform the problem... not the brand of the platform ... straight to the point .. liked it
ecalzo ...yep. As long as it’s a RELIABLE platform...
I can't thank you enough for your SERVICE. GOD BLESS
🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
You are very welcome. Thank you for the words.
Have a great day and God bless.
My “other” has a similar setup. 12.5” barrel, sb3 brace, flip-ups, strikefire II, surefire light, 2-pt sling. I built the weapon as an “inside the house/yard” weapon. It’s light, short, fast, and simple. Excellent setup for most likely engagements.
Excellent Sir!
Between finding you and Tu Lam my educational library is on point.
Thank You for Your Service Sir! 🙌🏼❤️🇺🇸❤️🙌🏼
Thank you for the words.
Be blessed
Great video! Thanks for explaining the pistol platform for dummies like me! You helped make the decision for me to do a pistol for my first build,
That vortex sparc ar is hard to beat. One thing I love about vortex red dot over other brands is the brightness. Vortex red dots are bright.
Thank you very much for sharing this information. It’s daunting for new AR owners to know what to buy and how to setup rifles/pistols after spending money and time on ammo and training. Even if you come from a military background, todays AR’s are a long way away from the M16A2’s I used. It took me a whole lot of dry fire, practicing mag changes and about 1000 rounds before basic operation of the rifle felt natural again. I think my wife got annoyed with me running around the house sticking little squares of painters tape everywhere to practice dry firing :)
As a leftie this was invaluable info! Straight to the point and no fluff, great video.
Just watched your vid and outstanding and a job well done. A ARMY Infantry vet here and thanks for incredible service with the teams💪. I have a Anderson 10.5 myself too and a Springfield Saint Victor 7.5 PDW as well as other firearms. I have the B.A.D. on 2 of mine nice device. Your vid was plain and direct which is the best way to be, thanks HOOAH!!!🇺🇸💪
Thank you so much for your information and I will use some of equipment on my AR pistol I just purchased in the state of Michigan.
I train many hours a week with nearly all my firearms and I'll keep you posted on my results. Thank you and thank you for your service BRO👃👍
Hello Friend! People comment that it is extremely loud, is this true or is it normal
Excellent, Sir, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, and thanks for your service to our country.
You’re welcome.
God bless
Nicely done video sir, thank you for your sacrifice.
Thx for your service, and great video 👍👍👌👌
You are a true bad ass and god bless you and what you have done to protect us.
Thanks for the video, sir...I just ordered a PSA 10.5 thanks to your POU and expertise!
Excellent! Let me know how it goes! I would appreciate it if you watched some of my other videos.
Have a great day and God bless.
The B.A.D lever is one of the most underrated "add-ons" to a weapons system. Once you get properly trained and use to its function it will make you a better shooter. I have 3 "pistols" set up with almost all the items he has on his pistol. My only question is why do you run your sling the way you do.
Great video good information thank you for your service God Bless
It’s not the dope on the weapon but the dope behind it that makes the difference
Well put, gentlemen.
I’ve plugged two dopes overseas.
Indeed so. Couldn't agree with you more. Too many people get guns and constantly ask questions but fail to understand it comes down to the shooter going to the range and learning the system/s they have.
Have a great day and God bless
Know what you're weapon is going to do so YOU KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO MAKE IT EFFECTIVE....🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲
The ruger elite 452 is an amazing trigger for these systems. Thanks for your videos brother.
Really thorough and really logical. Thanks much!
Love the content brother got me as a new subscriber god bless
Really like the common sense approach of the setup. As a former Dallas PD Sergeant I also like the comment about training with your equipment and not just "Looking Pretty" Thanks and keep them coming
Thank you!
Have a great day and God bless.
*Good points brother. Too often I see colleagues dropping mad cash on gucci firearms but fail to put mileage on the range. Invest on ammo, hit the range, good to go Carry on.* 🇬🇧🇺🇸
While I agree with you most of the week, right now the US has a nationwide ammo shortage. Some folks can't find ammo to buy. So there cannot be any training. That's reality today October 2020.
Thanks China.
Hey frogman....first video of yours I've seen. Enjoyed it. Mission specific is key.Always useful to hear and see others perspective. I to use a smaller two port break. Best 2 port I use is the Dynamic Resistance. They are manufactured by an engineer out of woodland Park Co. Very very effective in recoil reduction and muzzle flip. For the money by far the best. Stay frosty.
God Bless you and thanks for your service, this has helped me going into my second AR15 pistol build.
Thank you! That is awesome. Let me know how it turns out. I would appreciate it if you watched some of my other videos.
Have a great day and God bless.
@@frogmantactical Thanks and yes will watch them, God Bless
Are we close to seeing KD & Harden in the same jersey again?

I love the all go and no show approach, great video sir 👍
Thank you. I try to deliver nothing but information.
Have a great day and God bless.
awesome video... Im looking into my first AR pretty quick here and Im youtubing all kinds of shit. This was great!
THANKS Jason for you time first off, and shareing, I was in a much smaller theater local level, but you nail it it's the operator behind the tool, and lack of training, we used the K.I.S.S program Keep It Simple Stupid
An don't get me wrong the new toys out today are fun, but when the boogeyman comes knocking less it more
Again Thanks Jason For your Service
God Bless you and your family and Gob Bless Our Country
Mad Cajun
Well done, thank you for sharing your real world experience.
Thank you.
Have a great night and God bless.
TY for your knowledge!
Thank you. Lots of great talk.
Thank you. My new build video should be up tonight or tomorrow!
Have a great night and God bless.
Outstanding, sweet set up!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
great info and video, thanks
Great video thank you for your service.
Lots of good info... I appreciate it. New sub.
God bless. Ty for your service and the video. I like ar pistols.
Great video. Congrats on nearing 1000
Thanks so much!!
Thanks for keeping it simple.
All good info. Thank you sir
Really detailed video. Thank you very much for your opinion. Greatly appreciated.
You’re welcome.
Have a great week and God bless.
Great video, thank you!
Was thinking about a 10.5" barrel and you confirmed it. God bless you also sir. Tks
12.5 would be better. You can stay supersonic at 600m with the right twist and grain
@@bangersandmags6729 I went with 12.5 for those reasons. Your target will feel that punch when they get hit with this barrel length.
Great video as usual. Keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you.
Be blessed.
Hey man great video, you really have applied the KISS method to your setup. "Keep it simple stupid". I would have loved to hear about your sling setup though as a sling is a very important piece of gear, anyways great setup thank you for the video and thank you for your service.
P.S
Shoutout from the piney woods of east Texas my Texas brother.
Love the videos
Great info. I have the exact same "lite" setup on my 10.5 just with different brand name gear. The only addition I have is a 3X swivel magnifier for my deteriorating eye sight capabilities at longer distances. Love the BAD Lever. My 8.5 inch blackout loadout is the same also minus the magnifier, plus a suppressor (built exclusively for home defense). Keep up the great work, 'preciate cha.
Sounds like a winner for sure.
Be blessed.
God bless 🙏
I dig you paint your guns. I paint mine too. When I recommend others to paint their black stick they laugh and mock me. Would love you to do a video on why paint your rifle.
Rattlecan gang right here!
Love my Streamlight TLR-1. Still great after 10 years
Thank you for your service
You’re welcome.
Have a great night and God bless.
Great job and great info Jason
Appreciate it!
I love the ambi catch suggestion and not just for lefties…I installed a “Phase5 Extended Bolt Release V2” on mine and will never go back!
Great video! I carry a 10.5 inch AR pistol also...very effective. Subscribed!
Thanks for the info.
Thank you for your Service to our great Country ..........................
It's was my pleasure.
Have a great night and God bless.
This is a dude who's seen some shit. Straight forward, no frills. That is a rugged economical rig that obviously works. Jason proves that you don't need a gucci AR to protect yourself and others. Find a rig that works for you and roll with it. Train hard and often. Thanks Jason, for your service and sacrifice, and also for your content, keep it coming!
Great stuff! Subbed
Salute to all frogman!!
Thanks for the info
Great presentation 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
what paint do you use on your setup? I'm assuming you do this yourself? Thanks in advance.
When my lil bro was in USMC Boot Camp at Parris Island they were on the qual range. The shooter to his left complained about his rifle. They made my bro and him swap. Astonishingly enough, the same results. My Bro was shooting Expert. But since every marine is a Rifleman first, he had to provide some assistance to the shooter to his left.
My only regret in life is never trying out for buds. Win or lose, at least there would have been an attempt!
Great video, thanks for the info.
