Hi, Cassey. I started working out to this video some months ago. Along with your 12 minute arm and upper body toning video with weights. Slowly, but surely, I've been getting stronger! I ordered myself a pair of 8 lb dumbbells and added them into some of the exercises. I made sure to go slow with them. A long time ago, I never would have pictured myself doing strength training in this form. But I'm happy I'm doing it. Your encouragement and enthusiasm have helped me keep up with these. I really appreciate these standing abs workouts. I have severe endometriosis, and I learned that exercises like crunches and burpees aren't really a good idea for someone with this condition. These standing abs exercises with weights have been a big help! 😊 Because of how bad my endometriosis is, I will be having a total hysterectomy (ovary removal included) in two months. I have been getting my body as ready as possible for it. Strength training will be even more important for me once I recover from my surgery. I also started working out to your leg workout videos. I'm on the intermediate level right now! They've been great because of how hot it gets during the summer in my state. Thank you for the workout videos! I hope you are doing well! 😊

I wanted to finally comment on how much I love this ab workout and your workouts in general!! I've been doing your workouts off and on for almost a decade now and I love the ever changing and evolving workouts. It really helps with my attention span for what I want to do for workouts. What I love the most about this workout is that not only is it an ab workout, but it involves weights AND it really is a full body workout. It kicks my butt without overwhelming my body. I can't wait to see more like it!

I love it. I wanted to do an abs day, but I have neck issues and mat exercises would only hurt me. So changed up with this . It's awesome ! I was comfortable, but I bet the burn will be there in a few hours.

Love this workout! I’m not a fan of traditional floor workouts so I was keen to try this! The moves are deceptively challenging but allow you to focus on form and get the best out of this 10minute workout 👏🏻

I normally don't comment on these, but goodness gracious. I finished the workout and was like okay what did that do, probably nothing. But the next day my obliques are sore, my core feels worked. I was skeptical but I am a believer now. I want to incorporate this more because I felt like it was so easy to add to my routine. If you are skeptical try it out. I just used bottles I had around the house since I don't have weights
I really liked this one! These workouts make me feel so strong and badass even though I'm slowly getting back into working out again. Also, I love when the timer is loud haha
These are not optimal core exercises & some of them does not even mainly focus on rectus abdominis or obliques. Besides there is not a single static exercise which core is mostly used for. Hollow body holds, hanging knee raises, side & normal planks would be way better.
Cassey shares her happiness with each work out. She has been my workout guru since 2013. Her vids have been extremely effective for me in more ways than the great shape you get in. I don’t have much time lately and I’m reluctant to go on the mat (I know, but I’m 10x less likely to workout if I have to go down 😩) if I could have a standing workout to start each workout day, I would be so much more likely to workout more! she has a bunch of ones with squats and lunges where you don't have to pull out a mat! What I do too is just keep my yoga mat out in the living room. It just makes it that much easier to do a spontaneous up/down dog combo and stretching or movement instead of making it feel like a chore!

If i need the little „extra“ activity. 🥰 A thing that would really help me personally , would be an overview of how much calories you burned after a workout. For me it is really important to „track“ my calories that are burned to know how much i can eat. Losing weight for me is a journey 🙄 Love your videos, stay healthy!
She cant really do that, because it depends on how much effort YOU put in, how high your heart rate is, how much you weigh, if you had any stimulants / preworkout, etc. But all in all, unless you did an hour or more of cardio, you can pretty much eat the same amount of calories as you would without working out. It's all about getting stronger and healthier 😊 the weight loss comes with the diet -- calories in < calories out

@@emilysophie9709 Probably the best way to get an estimate is to get a FitBit or some equivalent. Even those aren't 100% accurate but they'll give you a better idea.

I prefer standing abs or any standing exercises only because I don’t have a clean yoga mat or floor to work on (I have dogs and they’re a mess!)

I started seeing result within maybe 5 days but as I kept going on with it my abs have gotten more toned and my tummy is flatter.
