Not remembering is actually the brain's attempt to protect the shock someone would experience if they were to face exactky what they did especially during blackouts. I'm not excusing what he did in any way but if you have experienced a severe alcoholic this is very very common. Easy to judge others when you're not in their shoes or their reality. Reality truly is perception. Careful how you draw conclusions of another bc I'm willing to bet more than half of us have done things while severely drunk and have little to no memory. But protecting ourselves from something tragically traumatic is a survival mechanism. Its fascinating what our brain's can do. Which is why I find these stories so compelling. He's where he needs to be bc his violence would have only continued. I left my ex because of how violent he became with me and thank god it was BEFORE I chose to re-locate and move in with him. He turnex into an absolute monster. Completely unrecognizable to me. And when I would confront him with what he did, he chose to blame me. Only a video recording would have forced him to take responsibility. I am smart enough to know this is not something that would get better over time with my love and patience. Only full sobriety would change that and I wasn't willing to stik by him before coming to terms with his addiction. I knew it was only a matter of time where his words and throwing crap at me around the room became a physical connect with my face or worse. People need to walk away when people like this show them who they are. I got away with my life and I wouldn't be surprised if my ex ends up hurting or god forbid killing someone bc I know in my soul that he is more than capable. It was as though alcohol removed the veil from who he presents himself sober. He's a dangerous man with dangerous thoughts and I pray no one ends up severely harmed or dead. He showed me EXACTLY who he really is. 😢
I binged watched a few episodes and one thing these criminals have in common is their ability to “not remember” committing murder, even if they previously admitted to it.

If he truly loved her I think he would tell the truth 🤷🏻♀️
I smiled when the dude interviewing said he didn’t want to use the C word! I’m watching this in my wee village in Scotland! We use that word as an endearment, a noun, verb or anything! Calling a friend a cunt here means you totally love them 😂.
@@KohalaLover kinda makes you think, doesn’t it? Second time I’ve thought I might like to visit Scotland someday- the first was when I first read about a maternity hospital where women have drastically lower incidences of c-section, are strongly encouraged to walk or at least sit up or squat, so gravity works with them, instead of expecting the uterus to push a fetus uphill bc it’s easier for the doctor if the mama is lying down! Kinda feels like maybe the two things might not be unrelated. Could be pretty cool to experience a place where women aren’t institutionally despised & devalued. The weather though- not sure I could manage that part- I’m a Floridian who requires sunlight daily, to feel even remotely mentally okay.

Like ol Sarah Boone, a blackout drunk, who killed a partner and relays made up stories as well as not remembering anything! I kinda agree...if someone is THAT drunk, how can you remember what you did or didn't do? If he cant remember killing her, then he certainly cant remember NOT killing her. I think he was a mean a. drunk who beat her regularly. I could believe they fought over several hours...they are both intoxicated so I dont think shed be screaming for hours. They were probably arguing and fighting back and forth until he finally had enough and ended it...and her. I totally believe he doesnt remember it, at best he may remember bits and pieces. When he finally came to and saw the aftermath, he knew what he'd done and he knew what he had to do! Guilty and justice was served! I think Sarah Boone also has little to no memory of taunting Jorge in the suitcase until he finally died, thats why her story had to be constructed before calling 911 and why it changed over time. Justice was also served with her case! Folks...Alcohol isnt your defense, its your destruction.
It's haunting how his upbringing and lifestyle seemed to shape his actions. Do you think childhood experiences can predispose someone to violence, or is it entirely about personal choices?
It's a combination of factors that are called biopsychosocial. These involve 1) biological factors such as genetics, neurotransmitters, hormones, and brain structures which can predispose individuals toward violence and aggression. 2) Then there's psychological factors such as certain mental health disorders which can cause violent and aggressive behaviour such as schizophrenia, PTSD, intermittent explosive disorder, and dysruptive mood regulation disorder. 3) Finally, there are the environmental factors which includes an individual's interpersonal, social, group, neighbourhood, economic, and cultural conditions. For example, the accumulation of frustration over unmet needs and financial instability can contribute to aggression and potentially erupt into violence. All of these biopsychosocial factors can create the potential for or actual violence.
@@Adara007exactly - and that’s not even taking into account the fact he was given alcohol as a baby, which to me suggests the possibility of fetal alcohol syndrome, in addition to what physiological brain damage he incurred as a baby, and then as a child, compounded every day of every week of every month of every year

There is actually a syndrome called trauma amnesia, he could very well be lying, but just as well , he knows he killed just can’t remember when it happened.
There is indeed where a memory is stored but dissociated (or “repressed") due to trauma but this man was the perpetrator of trauma so dissociative amnesia due to trauma would not apply to him.
No doubt he's guilty, of either manslaughter or murder, but typical American law enforcement, to interview a completely intoxicated man with no legal representation

Our system is always so much more concerned with materialistic and financial crimes it’s maddening!! Assault charge dropped, DV no time, 5 DUIs no prison time 😡 Swindling…5 years in prison 🙄Absolutely disgusting!! Sorry excuse for a justice system.
The tiny violins are playing for his actions. COWARD!
he can't stand the smells, like her bm, BUT he LIVED with the dead body and the horrendous smell with it under the bed for weeks!!!
This guy is evil and sits right where he belongs. I got the complete case file on this 2 years ago. He was an alcoholic and beat on her all time.
The crime scene photos were horrifying. I'm honestly SHOCKED what florida gave me on this case. He had stuffed in under bed storage wrapped in plastic. Because of the hot florida weather, when they unwrapped the plastic, it was filled with her bodily fluid and the majority of her skin started seperating from her body. The worst part, they made zero effort to sensor/respect her as a woman. They sent complete nude photos from every angle imaginable.
Feel so sorry for her daughters, they seem like very sweet girls. Their trial testimony was very heart wrenching
Number one thing about all these guys is that they all blame everyone else and NOT A SINGLE ONE accepts responsibility.
All he remembers is he didn’t do it. Haha what a peanut head
This is a very good series, nicely done.
He sure loved his trailer only time he showed real emotion.
He has the eyes of a killer…
And you have the nose of a stalker.
@@matchhunter7012YOUR A SICKO STICKING UP FOR THIS POS COWARD AND MURDERER!! HE DOES HAVE EVIL IN HIS EYES!! ARE YOU HIS PRISON PENPAL!? I SAID WORSE ABOUT HIM IN THE COMMENTS! SO WHAT!! HAHAHA
The eyes of a pathological lying sociopath narcissist.
Great Series!
Wow its always the same i blacked out cant remember, he murders his wife but loves her more than his trucks, ive heard it all now. RIP lisa hope your at peace
his body language spoke volumes when he was asked " if you were me , would you believe you " ? he bites his lip and leans back and his face that before that point had looked sad and pathetic and now suddenly looks menacing and evil ... yeah this dude has killer written all over the place... Also he sounds drunk out of his skull in that police interrogation
He was insulted.
Does anyone remember the Gypsy Wives TV show? Those wives were cleaning 25/8 😂 They would brush their teeth with bleach 😮
Yesss I remember that show on the TLC channel 😂
Yes, I would laugh so hard when they would argue 😂
Wow this man has really gone downhill in the past few years since his trial
Doesn't having sexual relations between cousins cause inbreeding 🤔
Thats what happened to him!
18:28 yoooo... 48? Looking 88!!! Don't do drugs kids...
Is he 48??? Goodness
It was Lisa's 48th birthday, not his.
@Court TV I would love to see an interview with Jodi Arias this many years later to see if she admits to what she did and tells us why.
LOL! She is selling her "art" to her fans for thousands and she gets money for designing tattoos for other inmates. She will never admit she was jealous and set out to kill Travis.
These scumbags are made different; they seek control more than anything else and confessing to their actions would see them give up some control of the narrative they've spun.
It'd be a very cold Hell before Arias admitted her crime.
How can she profit from her crime? Is it not illegal in US.
@@mariafrey7833 She has someone on the outside selling them for her and topping up her commissary. Impossible to prove but disgusting that she's even allowed to send her art outside of the prison.
@@mariafrey7833 She is not profiting off of anything to do with killing Travis. She just paints and draws many pictures of usually herself and her idiot supporters buy them. She is not profiting off the murder. Son of Sam Law has been struck down in some states. Ridiculous.
"If you were me would you believe you"
These criminals never tell the truth some of them remain cold, unremorseable till the end
I black out when I drink. can’t drink anymore. I can’t remember anything I have done. I wake up with no clue. The month thing is BS!
Me too, i left alone after the third blackout, i could see something real bad could happen so i quit drinking.
see how respectful and obedient he is when talking to a man? that's a coward move
He did hate HER. What he “loved” was the part of himself that felt better when she was serving him. That’s the love/hate. There is never love for the other person. When the other person emerges above his needs the hatred will explode. It’s always oriented for the self.
I THOUGHT HE AGREED TO TALK FOR THIRD DEGREE BURGERS 🤣🤣
Shout out to the detective who never gave up on finding her. Real heroes don't wear capes
He was on serious drugs and alcohol most of the time. Now hes old and sickly looking, and conveniently doesn't remember anything he did to her. Poor woman she had her remons too. ✝️
Some of the best people I know come from broken homes, poverty, abuse and not one has killed.
He remembers beer in a bottle but nothing of a murder as an adult 🤔 Is this selective memory or is he so traumatized he has blocked his memory? He’s serving life so why not tell the truth? If he truly loved her I think he would tell the truth 🤷🏻♀️
Not trying to be rude but I don’t follow your logic (she’s equally dead, either way)
#1. I feel for those daughters so much. And #2. He is a coward. And will be til he's in the prison graveyard.
I smiled when the dude interviewing said he didn’t want to use the C word! I’m watching this in my wee village in Scotland! We use that word as an endearment, a noun, verb or anything! Calling a friend a cunt here means you totally love them 😂.
Over here 🇺🇸 the c word is about the worst name you can call a woman. It’s considered vulgar and low class.
Um it's not a nice term especially in the USA 😮
Not in America. Here it's fighting words.
Saw a vid where a Scottish kid had a rude awakening when he went to high school in the US, and used the c word in class regarding a girl - took some explaining to change everyone’s opinion that he was a dirtbag!
He was biggest liar
LMAO IM SORRY WHEN HE SAID HOW HE GOT HIS NAME " LIL BO PETE" I STARTED DYING ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS YOU CAN TELL THE JOURNALIST WANTED TO BUS OUT IN LAUGHTER
lol I hope the other prisoners call him little bo peep
Wow he was given beer in his bottles. His mother should be sitting beside him in prison.
He loved her more than his trucks...How could he possibly have done it??? 🤷♀
@@Adara007exactly - and that’s not even taking into account the fact he was given alcohol as a baby, which to me suggests the possibility of fetal alcohol syndrome, in addition to what physiological brain damage he incurred as a baby, and then as a child, compounded every day of every week of every month of every year
It's a choice
They put bourbon in my baby bottle. I'm telling you, murder is a choice.
Only time he sparks up is talking about his home and car😂
Lmao
Blame the woman. Play the victim.
Beware.
What a great interviewer though, keeps his composure, doesn’t interrupt them, stays objective and starts at the beginning.
Travellers always keep their places immaculate
This series is the best
He remembers everything about his entire life from childhood, his rings, his DUIs, anything and everything …except the murder… that just happened to skipped sticking his memory bank. C’mon dude. Just be honest.
David Scott is a great interviewer. This is a great show and a good direction for Court TV to go.
He’s lost a lot of weight… I assume it’s because he’s not getting alcohol anymore!
All the crimes he committed he can't remember but he remembers everything else but the crimes
Very strange and well done, I'm subbed!❤
No doubt he's guilty, of either manslaughter or murder, but typical American law enforcement, to interview a completely intoxicated man with no legal representation
The way he says I loved her even more than the truck like it’s a massive thing to love your wife more than a vehicle. Really says so much omg
Sad story
I'm a very proud Irish Traveller and we were giving either a sup of whisky or Irish moonshine and i am now an owner of 3 tattoo shops in Dublin so we are not all alike.NEVER JUDGE
Chronic alcoholics do blackout. That's a pretty traumatic situation, I think one would eventually remember something. i am recovering alcoholic and i went to the bar and i was drinking and was completely smashed drunk and walked home, I dont remember any of it till this day.
This man is a chronic liar. He may have blacked out a few times but he remembers what he did. He remembers everything else.
I wish her daughters would have made her go into a detox and moved her out. They knew she was being abused and on drugs. I just know I wouldn’t let my mom be in that situation. I’d be calling the police over and over. She was bound to get hurt eventually. It would have been an overdose or hurt from a drug dealer if not her husband.
You cant force an addict sadly. Especially as the kid
They WERE CHILDREN!!! HOW ARE YOU GOING TL BLAME CHILDREN UNDER 18!!!! HOPE THAT MAKES YOU FEEL REAL BIG! BETTER THAN THEM HUH!? SICKO!!!
Girl, they were kids. They were kids, waaaaay before Google was even a thing. If they were travelers, they may not have even had a landline. They were little kids, in a culture where cops are NOT considered to be anyone’s friend- they’re a reason to leave, not an element likely to improve any situation. So, you’re a little kid w/ no phone access and no ability to look stuff up online- who in the world are you going to think you could call, let alone how were you going to place the call? Hitchhike your way to a pay phone?? Would you have even had quarters to use, to be able to use a pay phone? Jesus- I wish her daughters had been grown enough to have been able to help their mama. They didn’t deserve to lose her. Please consider/examine your biases
Dang he's creepy 😮
Does he know it’s little Bo Peep and not Pete?? After I heard that everything else made sense. Such a waste of an interview they all lie!
It was explained in the beginning. A family joke.
@@6kat103 ahhhh ok. I missed that thanks.
@@Forever_yours44 I think he said it was the only thing his Dad could read, so his Dad was called Big Bo Pete.
His smirk at the beginning of this show said it all

But speaks in ancient dead scroll philosophy 😂
That's the language he was speaking it was dead 200 yrs before Christ was dead
Last known records of it was in the necenomi book of the dead
Florida must be almost in top 10 of dangerous places to reside...😂😂😂sooo much crime and death...
Top 10??? Try number 1, with all the meth and flaka the trailer trash are running around without a brain
So his cousin is his girlfriend???!!!!
Looks like Ol Bo Pete got himself some fresh jibs on the Florida taxpayer’s dime!!!!!
I worked at a prison that housed a black out drunk who liked to murder women he picked up in bars. He was slight, short, blind and very polite.
Blind? Really?
If only people would leave achohol and drugs alone they wouldn't be in this kind of situation
