One of my favorite franchises! I would recommend playing peace walker at some point since it's the sequel to mgs3 and prequel to mgs5. I suppose it's kinda like code Veronica where despite not having a number, it's a main title.
Pretty much see eye to eye with you guys about 4 and 5. Picked 4 a couple of year ago and didn't finish it. I liked it when it came out but I dunno didn't work this time. I'd say 3 is my favorite.
Well, this is where I have to completely disagree with both of you because I freaking loved MGS4. The story was wrapped up almost perfectly and the gameplay was top notch for me. The final battle against Liquid Ocelot might just be my favorite boss fight of all time.
