I spent two years running a 1978 model in the deserts of Oman. It never let me down and I towed out dozens of other makes of vehicles that were either stuck, broken or both. A fantastic vehicle back then, but I wouldn't dream of having a modern one today.
I wish I’d bought one when they were cheap second hand and still plentiful. Now, like most of the cars I love from the 80’s and 90’s, they cost a kings ransom.
Offroaders/European investors. Aspen residents all want them now.. heck, a guy cant find an old rotted/abandoned roach; non runner for less than $3500 cash now.... cats out a the bag on these now... thankfully i have 3 or 4 parts units... for a black leather seats/carpet/dash and burl set i got $3400 alone.... amazing how these are in such demand now... parts are dirt cheap aftermarket.... but, for the DIY fella..... sort of missed the boat now... progress... oh well
The Range Rover Classic, is simply the best looking Off Road vehicle ever created...
She is beautiful ❤️
If they still made this simple version, I would buy one. Just too much to go wrong on the modern ones.
The same can be said for most modern cars in my opinion. I far prefer older cars.
They still do make these older simple versions. But its not Land Rover.
got one! 1989, been with it for 8 months and enjoying
Had my two door for 24 years, it still makes me smile with every mile!
