I have been to the ER 14 times in three months and doctors have no idea what’s wrong with me. I have been watching your videos and am starting to see drastic improvement. Thank you sooo much!! It has literally saved my life. I lost 15 pounds in three weeks and was incredibly ill with no answers. It’s all becoming clear now as I change my diet and address vitamin deficiencies and hormonal imbalances 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Same here, I excluded all processed foods, sugars and all carbs like bread and pasta. I’m eating a Whole Foods diet with lots of fruits & veggies.. meat, lots of sauerkraut and kefir, nutritional yeast.. a gallon of water a day. I feel amazing. I appreciate doctor Berg ❤ for taking the topic of anxiety & mood seriously. Thank you!

Same! I’ve been prescribed 6 or 7 different antibiotics within a 2 month time period & 1 course of steroids. I’ve been suffering from extreme anxiety & panic attacks. I’ve been back & forth to the doctor & ER, just for all of my lab work & X-rays to come back normal. But I don’t feel normal. Something is off…And I strongly think that me taking those steroids & all of these different antibiotics has just caused my body chaos. I need to detox, literally!

Foods and drinks like carbs and alcohol can deplete vitamin B1, which is an important vitamin for dealing with anxiety. Sugar and carbohydrates gives you inflammation. Ultimately, these foods cause more anxiety and stress.
The two best foods for anxiety, stress, and panic attacks:
    1. Probiotic foods
    • Kefir
    • Kimchi
    • Sauerkraut
    • Pickles
    • Raw vegetables
    2. Nutritional yeast (non-fortified)

Nutritional yeast (all yeast, in fact) is a no-no for people dealing with histamine intolerance such as from chronic allergies. I’ve been mixing my keto and carnivore with fermented vegetables this whole time. It finally took hold as I transitioned from supplements for the liver (and pancreas) back to whole foods, such as whole ginger, Fennel, Anise and Milk Thistle seeds, which are foods which you mentioned in other videos. It’s a lot like the Candida diet I did a decade prior, but with a solid road map and a better understanding of what foods do what exactly, and that’s entirely thanks to your research. It’s good to be back in the saddle and I couldn’t be happier. I plan to use more of the raw vegetables you’ve suggested going forward. For now, I’m always on the run so Sauerkraut is doing the most for me these days, otherwise, please keep us informed, _as always!_
Your work has not only saved my life, it restored it! It’s amazing when you realize the length people go to avoid being present (influencing, political influencing and grifting online) because the foods they eat don’t allow them to cope. We need these diets so we can be social and effectual at our jobs, with our families and functional in society. It’s nuts just how much of a difference a proper diet and food intake can make on your entire world! Bless you and Thank you!

On a daily basis, I recommend my patients multivitamin, cod liver oil and nutritional yeast as supplements. I also advice them to avoid added sugars and snacks. Healthy types of fats, meats, vegetables, eggs and so forth. Hardly anyone has any understanding about nutrients and healthy food, and almost all fail on these matters, but through repeated information and bits of knowledge they gradually improve. I often recommend them to watch this channel, which I myself discovered a year ago, and has taught me a lot and sparked my interest to improve my habits as a physician. Medicin / healtcare is insanely pharma oriented, and negligent of food and fundamental physiological concepts for health and disease prevention.

I do have anxiety which is not too bad, but enough to make it a nuisance. But I refuse to take medicine for it, I rather treat my anxiety via natural and fresh foods. The human body was created to heal itself, and medicines, in my opinion, are only a “band-aid” to the problem whatever that may be. The root of the problem is what it has to be addressed and make it work through nutrition. That said, thank you, Dr. Berg, for another excellent video. I have followed to the T everything in your videos and I am doing great. And, needless to say, I do it vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, fish especially salmon and so on…..plus vitamins, and I am doing very well health wise. The best thing that a person can do for their body is to eat HEALTHY, as you, Dr. Berg , has said it many times in your videos. Thank you.

For Anxiety, a good place to start is to eliminate wheat/Gluten and Caffeine. You should notice a calmer nervous system which feels almost like a naturally calm nervous system providing much needed relief. Most anxious individuals should notice a positive noticeable improvement within the first week of eliminating these stimulants. Gluten is especially bad and its been noted that in long term high doses Gluten is linked to Psychosis or depressive/ Mood disorders only to have rapid improvement and an almost return to normal cognitive function when wheat / Gluten are removed from the diet. Presentations on the effects on Mood and Psychosis with regards to Gluten intolerance can be found on UA-cam.

Good morning from michigan 👋🏽.. ever since I started eating fermented foods and nutritional yeast I’ve noticed a big difference in my mood. I can tell my microbiome is satisfied thus, eliminating any anxiety I used to experience. I also realized that I’m less irritable now, it really takes a lot to reach my boiling point now..Life changing🙌🏽 I have one concern though. So I recently started adding broccoli sprouts to my diet, I usually mix them in with sauerkraut and top it off with aged and unpasteurized Parmigiano Reggiano ( probiotic). I’ve heard from a couple sources that mixing dairy with broccoli sprouts inhibits solfuraphane…. ? Is that true? I’ve searched the web for studies that prove that and I can’t find anything..
As always, thanks for your time!
Keep up the good work ✊🏽

I started having severe anxiety issues around 30 years old. Now 46. I have tried everything. Some supplements seem to help for awhile such as magnesium, nutritional yeast, pink salt, valerian root and so on. I feel like I have finally found the cure for myself. DHEA 50mg taken for at least a week to gain the effects. Take DIM to help and balance any negative estrogen effects. Also, boron and zinc may help. DHEA is the main thing though. My ability to handle stress went up 10x. I'm confident in social situations, etc. I wish I had known this years ago. All the visits to doctors and psychologists, and not one ever looked at my hormones, etc. Not sure this will work for everyone, but if you are dealing with anxiety, try something that will improve your hormones.

Thank God I don’t have panic attacks any more but when I did they were scary.
It would come when you least expect it. It would be like a rush of nervous energy, heart palpitations, temperature rise, can’t breath. Lasting only for a few minutes but while it’s happening you think you’re going to die. And then it’s over. But the lasting effect is you become a hermit because you don’t want it to happen while you’re out in public.

@@nicoletacorche2113 I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. All I can say is start small with supplementation of Vitamin D3.
When I went through my anxiety that was what I did first. I did 50,000 IU
ONCE A WEEK for two weeks. After that I started seeing an improvement in how I felt. I would say it is not far fetched to take at least 10,000 every day. That’s what I do. I’m on several of Dr. Berg’s supplements. Especially the one I mentioned in my original comment.
I do hope you find relief! 💔

Ive had it for awhile in my personal "Apothocary" based on your advice but I don't eat popcorn usually and forget to throw it on salads. I'm just goiing to mix it into a smoothie or something and shoot it back. It usually takes a good hour for my panic attacks to pass. It's very unpleasant.

We've tried kefir and saurkraut also but the pain is too much.

you do not want to eat cabbage if you have digestive inflammation.. it's a cruciferous vegetable and a lot of gas is produced when it is broken down. egg whites aren't the best either (yolks are good). the best thing to do is fast for a few days to give the gut a chance to heal (it isn't healing if it is digesting!), stick to meats and fish, bone broth etc until the inflammation has calmed, then you can add fermented foods. it isn't something you can rush.
