Today I’m going to share the secret of how to deal with stress and stay calm under pressure.
Chronic stress is terrible for the body and can lead to several health concerns, including:
• Ulcers
• Diabetes
• Muscle atrophy
• Weight gain
• Cancer
• Suppressed white blood cells
• Inhibited immune function
• Viruses
• Autoimmune diseases
• Stroke
• Heart attack
• Infertility
• Insomnia
• Lack of oxygen
• Muscle tension
• Cortisol resistance
Chronic stress also reduces creativity and the ability to problem-solve. To stay calm under pressure, it’s crucial to train yourself to be in the present and have a relaxed attitude.
Relaxation exercises to try:
• Relax the antagonistic muscles (where you hold tension)
• Relax your wrinkles
• Relax the jaw muscles and tongue
• Slow your eating, chew more, and relax your gut
Other ways to cope with stress:
1. Control your breathing (breathe through your nose)
2. Go for a walk or be active in nature
3. Take natural vitamin B1
4. Maintain a relaxed body while exercising
5. Try using a mobility stick
6. Increase oxytocin (bond with a pet, donate, help others)

I pray when I'm under stress.
Would you mind praying for me? I'm under extreme stress lately. I've been sick over two years and it's wearing me down. I pray So much.
@@SusanHarrell530 When you pray you have to trust that God will work it out. And just because He's silent doesn't mean He's not working. It's just in His timing. So in the meantime just embrace your sufferings and know that God is graceful and merciful. He sees all and knows all. And He loves you. Read Philippians 4:6-7 very encouraging. Another great stress reducer is a simple act of Doing something for someone else: buying someone's coffee at Starbucks, call someone just to check on them and show them love, complement a stranger, go visit a love one, treat someone to dinner!!. You'll be surprised how this calms your stress!!

I am a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Christ. The Holy Spirit has guided me through horrendous events. At 78 years of age I am without dependence on pharmacia and modern medicine. The peace that passes understanding is the by product of obedience to the Gospel. Not self righteousness but, the righteousness of the Creator and His amazing plan. Simple. Praise to His Holy name.

The way I cope with stress is by simply repeating the mantra "do not worry it's going to be okay". This has a surprisingly effective outcome for me.
I get up each day and run my water at my kitchen sink. I wait for my coffee to brew and feel the water on my hand. At first it's cool, and then becomes hot. I imagine all the people who've ever been born, and think about how many who never had such a luxury. I thank God, and make a cup of coffee, which most never could have done this easily. By the time I sit down, I've started so thankful for my existence, and lottery life, that I stay relaxed all day. Some would say I'm disabled, and in pain; I seem to struggle, but I'm not allowing that; I'm poor and can barely make it through the month on my groceries, but the truth is, I'm blessed to have this food so easily obtained and ready for me to take out of the fridge, or open the package. We, should live each moment thankfully, and that brings relaxation as you connect with God'' gifts you have with ease most humans will never get to experience.
I give all my pain from little nuisances to major stress to God... and offer up the suffering as a prayer... and remind myself how blessed I am and that God is good.
I would also say that stress is a response to not having control over situations. The world is a scary and unpredictable place, and we're constantly being told about the next thing we should be worried about. Once you're in that state of mind, it's easy to make even mundane things stressful, like finding a parking space at the grocery store. It's habit forming.

The last 12 years of my 40 year nursing career was at the hospital administrative level overseeing 9 highly stressful departments with excessive budgetary demands because my areas carried a six hospital system. You completely described me. I used alcohol, gained 40 lbs, had a TIA & got diagnosed with an autoimmune clotting disorder. I have struggled to regain my health and I retired 5 years ago. I appreciate your videos!
Oh gosh, Healthcare is the worst! I worked admin in a retirement home handling the scheduling for 150 employees. Psw and nurses. It was the most stressful experience of my life. Everyone is miserable. I was kind and friendly and people above and below me would look at me with nothing but misery and downright hate! I missed my period in my 3rd month there. I have never once missed a period. I couldn't believe it! My husband said I had to get out of there. He told me to quit. Wasn't worth it. What a horrible, horrible environment. I feel bad for all the elderly people stuck in that prison 😭
Sounds like me. I had a TIA then diagnosed with Factor V Leiden now also have Graves Disease and shingles. Trying to destress. 🙏🏻

This is the way I do it: I view all life events as just a different spin on the kaleidoscope of constant change. I train myself daily to observe that what I want out of an event is just a personal view that is not so important. There are billions of personal views. So when any thought of "oh I expect this to happen" but then "it doesn't" arises, I see that it is just a thought and I attach a second thought "I am not worried". It's very calming to simply use the affirmation "I am not worried". But it never becomes a cliche to me because it is grounded in understanding of all events as transient and the grasping of them to satisfy some inner desire as just as transient. There is perpetual change, with every single blink of a moment different, like bubbles popping on the surface of a stream. New constructions, designs with each turn of the kaleidoscope. If someone practices this, as I do, they are guaranteed to achieve greater calm even in the midst of the hubbub. It relies on the Buddha's first noble truth (of suffering - due to internal desires, grasping, expectations) and on the factual reality of constant change.

The use of candles is not limited to creating a romantic atmosphere, as essential oils and scented candles are used as a way to reduce feeling of stress and anxiety as well.there are scents that are particulary relaxing, such as levender, chamomile, neroli, sandalwood.even these aromas can improve sleep quality and reduce feelings of anxiety and stress.

The best ways to overcome the stress for me is not to exposing myself to stress, not holding back things that I should say to a friend or family member, put away all the high expectations from myself and look at my situation in every way realistically. Teach myself that to be the best version of myself not every day but every month or year and the last one is if something is out of my control then it should be out of my mind.

Hi I received a message that I won a gift through Dr. Berg, site?
I am extremely extremely sensitive... deep feeler... not good for dealing with the world we live in...
Prayer is the highest form of meditation... so when I can and think of it in stressful situations will be praying inside
But sometimes the Stressful Situation is sudden and always caused by someone else's involvement
and not much you can do about it
I have Epstein Barr/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ... and it hit me like a Mac Truck after finding out my Dad had Cancer
FINALLY...after a lifetime it hit me... I believe I heard my Guardian Angel tell me... change your attitude about it ... let it go... stay calm... and after that divine intervention... I am becoming better at doing that.
I am one of those unlucky people who attracts stress causing people into their life...
I do the 4-7-8 breathing method for 15-20 mn once or twice a day. It greatly reduces stress hormones and rhe more you do it the less stress hormones you produce. Wien i was really diligent with this i came to a point where i became totally calm all the time. And I am an ex panic attack sufferer so it was absolutely unbelievable for me ..!

I deal with my stress with prayers.
I pray, trust & believe that God has it covered. I also take a few deep cleansing breaths or take a long walk when I feel overwhelmed.
My relationship with God is my best tool for beating stress. Prayer, meditation, service to God and others.
To deal with stressful situations, I first take a series of DEEP breaths, then I refocus my mind on God's Word, especially, what God promises me about those situations - thinking, "What would Jesus do? What would He want ME to do OR NOT do? Then I try to NOT let my mind dwell on the negatives of that situation and instead confess what the Bible says about it (verbally, out loud for my ears to hear me). Then I thank the Lord for the victory or strength He has given me in this and every situation, and move on. Whenever the thoughts of fear or stress return (and they often do), I would do the same thing above, because I know my mind had been so accustomed to look at the negatives in things and believe only the worst, so I know the battle continues in my mind and in my actions as I don't give up.
Frankly, I cannot remember what stress feels like. Cognitively, I have encouraged my neurotransmitters to follow a plan to substitute ‘confidence’ as an ideation that produces a stress-free manifestation in any situation.
This outcome was not a gift. But, a rewards after exerting myself in the most stressful situations (knowingly) and using people through control to build on this cognitive transition.

Identify what stresses me, and note my response. For example, when i feel stressed, note my thoughts. feelings, and behavior, perhaps even making a record of them. By becoming more aware of my response to stress, i may be able to deal with it more effectively. Also,i think of ways to eliminate stressful things from my life. If that is unrealistic, look for ways to reduce my impact, by managing my tasks or time more efficiently.

I generally take a walk or disconnect in some way and try to come back with another perspective. I remember having a precalculus problem I couldn't solve, frustrated the hell out of me. I took a walk from my dorm room to a vending machine, got an iced tea and came back to it, within 5 minutes I had it solved.
If it's a situation of conflict I used to try to avoid things then they'd boil over and ended up messy. I now try to handle those directly, diplomatically and firmly because the longer these situations drag on the more stress they generate. So for these, it's about communication.

When I was playing a much better tennis player, I changed my mindset from getting stressed out and tense from the general thought of needing to be way better somehow, to much more concrete ideas. I thought in terms of increments. Like "okay, I need to move faster than the last time to get to the ball" rather, than "I need to go fast as possible" The attempt to achieve maximum output was more stressful and less productive, than seeing that I could improve each time inclemently. When it was successful, it was almost as if I could relax while also moving faster and more accurately because I knew what speed was required not just maximum effort. Of course, you have to adjust this as the other player is adjusting play trying to beat you throughout the game.

It is important to relax and let go of tensions in the body, and to not let external factors bother or affect you. Additionally, incorporating techniques such as stress extraction and manual therapy can be helpful in achieving relaxation.

I don't handle stress well, I've had huge amounts and am now trying to treat the damage. My best way to try and cope is reading or watching some escapist nonsense but it hadn't helped much. I try to analyse the causes and understand that helps. But the best thing is to meditate. It takes discipline, but it's excellent.

@@gonzatribe7 No, I read a Dr. Sears Book. I think it was called “The Birth Book” 🤔 The key was that muscle relaxation (especially in the facial muscles) and I did a lot of praying through the contractions!

Putting on great music and just dancing around is a wonderful stress reliever 😊
When I feel that pounding heart before a public piano performance I take long slow nose breaths in, hold it in, then let it out slowly. I stiffen my hands and arms, then completely relax them until they stop shaking with fear. Sometimes it takes a few minutes of total relaxed breathing and relaxed arms and hands before the nervous feelings leave.
Chocolate often used to be my go to . Since doing your healthy keto and IF I have a much better relationship with food. As you have said, if you’re not hungry , then food is not the answer. Between Jesus and keto my life is transformed . Thank you Dr Berg for helping to transform my health. This way of life is definitely sustainable
I use infrared sauna, ice baths, exercise, niacin flush, meditation, focus on the positives. Visualization, Wim Hoff breathing. Thank you for your channel.
Great 👍 you remind me to take niacin 😊

I use meditation, music, watching the news (believe it or not!), interacting with like-minded people, supplements and healthy food.
Alcohol used to be my go to for stress, but i decided to quit completely over two months ago. Now i occasionally use diazepam or codeine to help me relax. Getting tasks done like walking my dog, gym, or shopping helps clear my mind as well. Its all about the balance
My daughter and I get in the car and drive out to the river and through the country. We have a play list just for this with all songs whose lyrics that keep our mindset where we want it to be, becausewhat you affirm when you sing is what you are programming for yourself. We play it, sing loudly and cruise through the country roads till we feel better.
I also have a phrase personal to me that I created years ago that when I say it I am instantly calm and focused, tuned in to myself and my environment. It enables me to calm instantly.

@KetoWorks as of a week ago 90% of my worst stress for the past 3 decades has been eliminated! I am sure there will be others but for now I feel like I have been freed from indenture!

I go for frequent short walks among trees, a river, and lots of birds. I get a ton of sun this time of year and I absorb as much as possible. I am mediating often and make sure to keep in touch with my friends and family. I very rarely feel stressed.
Awesome 👏 Thanks for sharing!
I pray and take deep breaths!

The muscles that I really focus on and try to release are the pelvic floor muscles. For me that stops panic attacks almost immediately. Thank you for your videos!
Coincidentally, it involves the psoas muscle, which is called the muscle of the soul.
It's connected to the reptilian part of our brain, so it is linked to fight or flight.
How does one do that?

Every night I take time to rest and listen to asmr and binaural beats videos on youtube. I lowered caffeine by replacing coffee with jasmine green tea and limited black tea which helps. I'm also reading about the healing effects of walking in nature and spending time near trees . 🌳🌿
@@helenketo251 Yes, definitely! He gives the best advice with detailed information.
I have gone thru eating sweets, overeating, now I do fasting and drink teas and has helped.😅
