Mach 1 will always be my favorite nameplate. Havent owned one. The Bullitt, love its sleekness. Owned an 08 Bullitt. Probably my favorite owned mustang of all time Had a 92 vert 5.0, 08 Bullitt (black), 11 gt brembo package, 15 competition orange gtpp, and now a 21 twister orange gtpp. All manuals except the 92 vert
@@gian-lucbrasseur207 I think the Mach 1's sweet spot is staying NA. The chassis, suspension etc, are set up perfectly for that amount of power. Of course there's upgrades to be had, but I don't think they should be found in the power department.
It’ll always be the GT350 imo. It has better brakes, better wheels, better engine, tremec trans is standard, has Shelby’s name on it, highest horsepower/liter and ultimately will hold its value the best of the three.
The Mach 1 HP wheels are def >>> gt350 wheels any day, the coyote reliability is better, the voodoo just takes it in sound. Tremec trans is also standard on the Mach 1
@@cflgt500 I do like the wheels on the handling pack Mach 1. But I also like the 15-18 GT350 wheels the most personally. As far as reliability goes, the cross plane 5.0 is better in most cases, but my GT350 is at 36k miles and used to be daily driven. The car’s been completely fine actually. I also have a 18 GT with a 10 speed and it’s not far behind the Shelby mod for mod. The GT350 makes the most power though mod for mod and with boost. It’s essentially a 5.0 but bored out a little bit with better heads and internals. Overall I love the 5.2 Voodoo. Pound for pound on boost it’ll make more than the 5.2 predator as well considering the compression is still 12:1 on the GT350
Best engine, eh? The 350 5.2 has been plagued by excessive oil consumption and blown engines! I also have one and had to replace mine! Next time I'll get the 5.0
Dang it. Here I am with a GT DROOLING over these cars 😂 I starting to love the nostalgia of the bullet but my cousin has a Shelby 500 that is so beautiful. And I’ve loved Mach ones since I was a kid. I literally don’t think I could be disappointed with any of them. I have such an appreciation for each one. Great video!
I like the GT350 the best from this comparison. But for the money I think it would probably be better to get a base Mustang GT and modify it the way you want it.
My buddy has a 2018 gt 350 and I own a 2012 base GT. We took them to the track while they were basically stock. Just tunes on both of them. He ran a 12.2 and I ran a 12.3. Pretty much consistently. It was 100Degree day in July but we made a bunch of passes. Both were manual trans too. Now he has a whipple and I have a vmp. We haven’t had them back to the track for an updated comparison, but in the 1/4 they are side by side and I didn’t have any type of launch control or anything like he had.
I had a base 2016 base GT a bit ago, was like 29k. Now a base gt is much more and not really the value as it once was when the S550`s first came out. But the deals are out there so who knows.

I own a Boss, but all of these S550s are incredible in my opinion. If I could buy any of them, I'd snag a GT500, but if I was going to buy one more manual Mustang, I'd probably go with the Mach 1 (most of the great parts from the GT350 without the engine longevity concerns... although the Voodoo sounds INCREDIBLE).
The voodoo are pretty reliable if you take care of it and keep a check on the oil. They had oil consumption issues sometimes and ppl beat them low on oil and have problems. Just keep a check on that and make sure the oil level is good and it should be fine. Ecsp if it's a gen 2 voodoo.
Traded in a 2020 GT premium for a new 2021 Shadow Black Mach 1. The feel and and handling is unreal. If you get the chance to, it's worth it! Haven't rode or driven a 350 yet but definitely would if given the opportunity!
2:10 my favorite speciality mustang will always be the GT500 or I’ll even throw the GT350 in there but for me it’s the GT500 but that’s bc of what the cars represent, they are Shelby’s made in memory of Carroll Shelby and there was only one Carroll Shelby and what he means and meant for the car industry and Ford Performance/SVT is like no other!

My first car was 67 GT in highland green with a 390 and 4 speed. 67 was the year before the movie was made, and the 68 was the car in the movie. So that car is special to me because first car.
I have the 2016 Shelby Cobra GT 350 (5k miles) and the 2019 Bullit. Both are very limited production and collectible. The Shelby is faster. The Bullitt is my day choice.
Taken from Road and Track running the Lightning Lap The Mach 1's 2:51.4 time is 0.4 second quicker than the GT350R's. Plus, that time is good enough to make the Mach 1 the new king of LL2, the mostly affordable sub-$65K class. We're guessing that record will stand for at least as long as it took to create the Mach 1.
Yeah they were and are hard to get. The dealership I went too had to trade another dealership like 4 hours away for mine. Almost were unable to find one, but I was lucky enough to get one. It's a good vehicle, fun to drive and pretty comfortable to daily. Only complaint is that they cheaped out on the transmission and they should have added padding to the tops of the doors, my elbows get sore when I'm highway driving. Other than that, it's a great car and if you can get one, I highly suggest doing so!
I’ve been googling these three exact cars and then this video pops up. Perfect timing. If the bullitt came with a tremec, that’ll be my choice for street use. Since that’s not the case, the Mach 1 for me.
Great cars. However, in my opinion the best car is the one that makes you feel alive. I read people’s comments and many say; this car is better because it’s cheaper, or that car is better for its looks. I drive GT350, but it took me over 10 years to find a car that I couldn’t wait to get up in the morning and drive it. I spent money on BMW M cars, Porsches, Maseratis, British exotics and rent Italian cars, and none were as good, as my current Shelby in terms of excitement. It’s not the fastest, and it’s full of plastic, but it puts a smile on my face from down to dusk.
@RickColeman_M3 exactly I think s550 interiors are pretty nice. No need for anything more. I prefer the analog 200 mph cluster the gt350 has also. I have a 12 boss 302 I love it I don't even mind the interior on it even though everyone says it's crap. It's not that bad it's just basic and nothing fancy. That isn't what these cars are about anyways. It has just enough difference that when combined with the Recaro seats it makes the interior not that bad imo. I'm used to older cars though I don't like all the tech heavy crap in modern cars...
GT350 has the performance and looks, I’m not a fan of the Mach 1 because I’ve seen original Mach 1 fastbacks and it doesn’t have the vintage look, despite those two the bullitt definetly wins in my heart I love the original green color like in the movie, it’s got the red brembo and the wheels are sick, gives off the vintage flare unlike the Mach 1
They tried to make it a boss 302 wanna be with its faux fog lights the s550 don't even have fogs in the grill smh. It's also not changed enough from a basic gt imo. It should have had its own unique engine like it's supposed to. Then I could see the price they cost. It's a gt in a dress with hand me down gt350 parts
2018 fully loaded PP2 owner here, love the fact you dont even mention it, and here is why in one word…. rarity. In 4 years i have only seen two of them. You just dont see them, every meet, show, daily driving you name it and mine is the only out there. People dont even know what it is, there like nice rims where did you get them. Cant wait to see the production numbers if ford ever releases them. Then there is the car itself, handles awesome, stance is lower and looks down right mean. Only mod i have is a Barton shifter, stock one is junk in comparison, highly recommend for anyone with an MT82, transforms the driving experience with that tranny. Shout out to you Stangmode been watching since you took delivery of the black mamba. I do love the mach1 though awesome car, but I’ll stick with my PP2.

I'd go for the Mach 1....Many new are cheaper than a used GT350, Gen 3 5.0 is bulletproof, and it beat the GT350R at VIR. But if it didn't have the Tremec I'd go GT350 all day. That transmission is crucial toward the Mach 1 being the best Mustang it can be. If the Bullet had the Tremec that would be gold.
You better really love that low end tq to give up almost 50 horses up top and 750 rpm. That's huge on the track. You know where these cars are supposed to be? People whining about the lack of low end tq don't even understand the concept of a gt350 so you don't belong in one anyways

As a Bullett owner I will say this was a pretty fair assessment of the 3 honestly I agree with the 350 owner. I'd want the Bullett and the 350 so I could style and wild out. I wouldn't like the Mach 1 as a daily because due to the power arch and all Bulletts are 480... Mine is 500 plus dure to some running and header/exhaust upgrades but it's so smooth and torquE like they mentioned. The power band is all classic muscle and it's rear suspension is actually wider than the Mach 1 naturally. Great review next time get that Bullett on wild mode because I haven't met 1 Mach 1 who's come cross my Bullett and not been taken back a step. #justsayin 😂😎✌🏿
The Bullitt is cool, but I can't stand that green. Mach 1 would be better with the shaker hood, so for my money I'd take the Shelby any day. Now if I win one, well I'll still be happy as a clam.

Mach 1 as the best all around Stang, GT350 for track and keeping its value. My Ford dealer has a 2016 GT 350 with 8500 km , 5200 miles selling for the 2016 list price. The smart money would buy it and not lose value probably. Why do I always buy high and sell low? Lol
350, no questions asked. In 10 years time this car will still be relevant. The Mach 1 may follow but I can’t say much about the BULLIT or regular GT 5.0.
My personal favorite have to be 1 GT350R, (not there of course) 2 GT350, 3 GT500(Not there either lol) 4 Bullett 5 Mach1. And I have to say a GT performance pack1 5.0 Mustang.
all 3 and the pp2 gt is nice but the shelbey is on its own leval with the voodoo engine. on the otherhand the new mach 1 is all that plus reliability swaping in a hot coyote
Can't lose with either of these cars. Great to see this comparison video, I was cross shopping all 3 and ended up finding great deal on a GT350. While it's great, I think I will eventually downgrade to the Mach 1 for everyday livability and comfort.
Mach 1 all day more reliable engine than the 350 by far. It’s also a daily, track car, and you could boost it not having to worry about anything because of its reliability Coyote gen 3 🎤 drop.
1St choice I want a GT-350 feel it will hold its value for years , Im just afraid of the motor blowing up . 2nd choice is the Mach 1 I can get new for price of GT-350 with the same suspension and a motor I can boost with no issues . Please help which should I get . My last Mustang was a 1990 LX 5.0!!
If you want an OEM collectors stang choose one of these and don't touch it! But if you want real performance customised for you get a GT (10R80 for me) add 30K of mods and it will destroy any OEM stang.

You have a real mach1 not a hyped up basic mustang gt without the mt82..... if Im not mistaken the mach1 should have had a non supercharged 5.2 predator engine which the current mach1 does not

I have a pp1 honestly don’t think it should exist. I would’ve preferred having a Mach 1 option when I brought my car. I would’ve paid 8k more for it. The pp 1 is a nice cheap option. It just lacks the tire width and cooling for real track capabilities to match the gt350.
Well I have a PP2, so I would just go Mach 1 because I want to stay with the 5.0 and still have that sporty feel. I do love the GT350; it is truly amazing what it can do.
Has anyone in CA ever one the give aways? Is there a limit to distance in the drawings? Curious since I don't recall west coast folks ever winning. As a result I like the content better when I don't buy merch lol.

I am going to own one of these 3 cars one day🔥. Whenever I get my ecoboost stang paid off, I’m aiming for the GT350. But I always see people with the oil consumption issues and that’d be the only thing that’d really stop me from going after that. My 2nd choice would be the Mach1.

@KingTolo2 tune alone ain't getting you north of 900 with the gt500. And a boosted mach 1 could go anywhere between 700 and 1200 hp.

Get a base GT and boost it don’t get the mt82. Or get a boss 302 they are 30-40k twin it and throw a tremec in it. 800-1000hp all day reliably

Love my 2020 Bullitt, only thing I would change it the transmission. Really want the Tremec 6-speed.

Love the Bullitt. I spent months trying to hunt a new one down, and my local dealer didn't have any success getting anyone to trade.

Sound alone is reason enough to choose the GT350! Not to mention looks, prestige and uniqueness.

@RickColeman_M3 exactly I think s550 interiors are pretty nice. No need for anything more. I prefer the analog 200 mph cluster the gt350 has also. I have a 12 boss 302 I love it I don't even mind the interior on it even though everyone says it's crap. It's not that bad it's just basic and nothing fancy. That isn't what these cars are about anyways. It has just enough difference that when combined with the Recaro seats it makes the interior not that bad imo. I'm used to older cars though I don't like all the tech heavy crap in modern cars...
Mach I for me. It's just a really good balance of everything.
GT350 has the performance and looks, I’m not a fan of the Mach 1 because I’ve seen original Mach 1 fastbacks and it doesn’t have the vintage look, despite those two the bullitt definetly wins in my heart I love the original green color like in the movie, it’s got the red brembo and the wheels are sick, gives off the vintage flare unlike the Mach 1
They tried to make it a boss 302 wanna be with its faux fog lights the s550 don't even have fogs in the grill smh. It's also not changed enough from a basic gt imo. It should have had its own unique engine like it's supposed to. Then I could see the price they cost. It's a gt in a dress with hand me down gt350 parts

2018 fully loaded PP2 owner here, love the fact you dont even mention it, and here is why in one word…. rarity. In 4 years i have only seen two of them. You just dont see them, every meet, show, daily driving you name it and mine is the only out there. People dont even know what it is, there like nice rims where did you get them. Cant wait to see the production numbers if ford ever releases them. Then there is the car itself, handles awesome, stance is lower and looks down right mean. Only mod i have is a Barton shifter, stock one is junk in comparison, highly recommend for anyone with an MT82, transforms the driving experience with that tranny. Shout out to you Stangmode been watching since you took delivery of the black mamba. I do love the mach1 though awesome car, but I’ll stick with my PP2.

I'd go for the Mach 1....Many new are cheaper than a used GT350, Gen 3 5.0 is bulletproof, and it beat the GT350R at VIR. But if it didn't have the Tremec I'd go GT350 all day. That transmission is crucial toward the Mach 1 being the best Mustang it can be. If the Bullet had the Tremec that would be gold.

You better really love that low end tq to give up almost 50 horses up top and 750 rpm. That's huge on the track. You know where these cars are supposed to be? People whining about the lack of low end tq don't even understand the concept of a gt350 so you don't belong in one anyways

As a Bullett owner I will say this was a pretty fair assessment of the 3 honestly I agree with the 350 owner. I'd want the Bullett and the 350 so I could style and wild out. I wouldn't like the Mach 1 as a daily because due to the power arch and all Bulletts are 480... Mine is 500 plus dure to some running and header/exhaust upgrades but it's so smooth and torquE like they mentioned. The power band is all classic muscle and it's rear suspension is actually wider than the Mach 1 naturally. Great review next time get that Bullett on wild mode because I haven't met 1 Mach 1 who's come cross my Bullett and not been taken back a step. #justsayin 😂😎✌🏿
The Bullitt is cool, but I can't stand that green. Mach 1 would be better with the shaker hood, so for my money I'd take the Shelby any day. Now if I win one, well I'll still be happy as a clam.

Mach 1 as the best all around Stang, GT350 for track and keeping its value. My Ford dealer has a 2016 GT 350 with 8500 km , 5200 miles selling for the 2016 list price. The smart money would buy it and not lose value probably. Why do I always buy high and sell low? Lol

350, no questions asked. In 10 years time this car will still be relevant. The Mach 1 may follow but I can’t say much about the BULLIT or regular GT 5.0.
My personal favorite have to be 1 GT350R, (not there of course) 2 GT350, 3 GT500(Not there either lol) 4 Bullett 5 Mach1. And I have to say a GT performance pack1 5.0 Mustang.
there is just something about the 350 that i like the best of the 3. i wish you could get it in that Dodge green
all 3 and the pp2 gt is nice but the shelbey is on its own leval with the voodoo engine. on the otherhand the new mach 1 is all that plus reliability swaping in a hot coyote

Can't lose with either of these cars. Great to see this comparison video, I was cross shopping all 3 and ended up finding great deal on a GT350. While it's great, I think I will eventually downgrade to the Mach 1 for everyday livability and comfort.

Mach 1 all day more reliable engine than the 350 by far. It’s also a daily, track car, and you could boost it not having to worry about anything because of its reliability Coyote gen 3 🎤 drop.
1St choice I want a GT-350 feel it will hold its value for years , Im just afraid of the motor blowing up . 2nd choice is the Mach 1 I can get new for price of GT-350 with the same suspension and a motor I can boost with no issues . Please help which should I get . My last Mustang was a 1990 LX 5.0!!
If you want an OEM collectors stang choose one of these and don't touch it! But if you want real performance customised for you get a GT (10R80 for me) add 30K of mods and it will destroy any OEM stang.

You have a real mach1 not a hyped up basic mustang gt without the mt82..... if Im not mistaken the mach1 should have had a non supercharged 5.2 predator engine which the current mach1 does not

I have a pp1 honestly don’t think it should exist. I would’ve preferred having a Mach 1 option when I brought my car. I would’ve paid 8k more for it. The pp 1 is a nice cheap option. It just lacks the tire width and cooling for real track capabilities to match the gt350.

Well I have a PP2, so I would just go Mach 1 because I want to stay with the 5.0 and still have that sporty feel. I do love the GT350; it is truly amazing what it can do.
The only thing missing on the Mach 1 is the front wheel lips which come stock on the HP cars. Will look better with those wide tires up front

I am going to own one of these 3 cars one day🔥. Whenever I get my ecoboost stang paid off, I’m aiming for the GT350. But I always see people with the oil consumption issues and that’d be the only thing that’d really stop me from going after that. My 2nd choice would be the Mach1.
