The 350 will always be more desirable and hold more value than the mach. The mach needed a unique engine to separate it from the GT. A CPC 5.2 would have been a no brainer in this car. 10k more now will sound like a bargain down the road. Repeat of 03/04.
03-04 machs have also held their value considerably better than a GT has. Granted that's a 4v vs 2v thing but I would assume although maybe to slightly less of a degree, this will still hold its value significantly better than a GT.
@Rare Cars the old Mach had a way better engine and unique powerplant compared to a gt. I think the modern one should have a 12.5:1 5.2 cpc with a factory cj and unique cams then it would be as much an upgrade over the gt as the 03-04 was in its time. Mach 1 is a great car but it doesn't beat a GT350. Gen 1 issues are real but not as big as the hype made them, 3-4k oil changes with checking the dip every 2nd fill up likely would've saved a lot of issues (and some engines) but Ford didn't set the schedules and expectations properly.
I don’t know why they’re talking down the GT 350. All you do is buy the car and buy a warranty. That’s what I did. It covers everything and mine supercharged. I called in to the insurance company they know what’s on there and what would be replaced if it blows up.
I think most people didn’t watch the blucifer video because they may have thought it was a reposted video and didn’t want to rewatch a reposted video even though it wasn’t
Mach 1 just not worth the premium, it's basically a GT with a few cosmetic upgrads. I'd rather get a base GT and use the money for a blower and other performance mods.
I’m taking a 350, and don’t get me wrong. I like the MACH but to me they miss monikered that car, they should’ve made it the Boss 302, typically throughout history MACH’s have some form of cobra style engine in them. To me the new MACH is just a GT performance pack two on steroids. If Ford would’ve taken the engine that was in the Shelby GT500 the 5.2 Predator and made a naturally aspirated variant of it and put that in there I would take the MACH that would make it stand out from any Mustang GT. Ford got lazy, they had way too many Bullet GT engines left because the demand did not meet the supply, so they decided to keep those in the parts bin, and just reuse them in the mock one and to sweeten the deal, they decided to put in the tremack transmission that was in the GT350. If they would’ve put a naturally aspirated version of the cross plane crank 5.2 predator I’d buy the Mach witho a doubt.
There are a lot of low milage 350 hitting the market. Ford decision to create their own version of a flat plane left many scratching their heads. Ford realized their flat plane, if mass produced will be problemic and dropped it. Besides the 500 was high revving, sounds great, and now the better collectible alternative. Reliability and parts will be a problem in the future; more so if a daily driver or track demon. People are a bit worried if their 350 is a ticking time bomb. The Dark Horse is the way to go for similar pricing.
So glad to see this review..The GT350 is a great car but you gotta either get a outstanding warranty or a car with Gen 2 motor and all paperwork.. Hopefully one day I can on one..30k for a motor is a big bill.. You would be better off swapping a 5.0 motor in it and dona all motor build on it and save for Money..Good Review..Love both cars!

Yeah definitely grabbing gonna get Mach 1 now
Man when are you coming to the dragon? I’m a local, I’ve got my mustang up there all the time, I’d love to make some passes with you while you’re here
Mach 1 is a great car but it doesn't beat a GT350. Gen 1 issues are real but not as big as the hype made them, 3-4k oil changes with checking the dip every 2nd fill up likely would've saved a lot of issues (and some engines) but Ford didn't set the schedules and expectations properly.
Bro I just bought a race red mach1 ! Can you send me the link to how to get the mach1 emblem on the steering wheel like your buddy
I don’t know why they’re talking down the GT 350. All you do is buy the car and buy a warranty. That’s what I did. It covers everything and mine supercharged. I called in to the insurance company they know what’s on there and what would be replaced if it blows up.
does that gt350 have a burble tune? sounds sick when the gas is let off
Sounds stock to me. Thats the way they sound
What year gt350 would you buy?
Yall should host a meet when ya go to tail of dragon!
You mentioned jake getting a dark horse. Which dealer in VA did he go through? Just curious if it’s the same one I went through.
Jesus , are those tints legal in your state? looks killer
Bro you made the right decision and when you get in the financial position you should just get the GT500 Bro.
I'm with you homie. I'm taking the mach!!!!
Please do not hate I have a manual,, gt ,, I opted out for the automatic mach1 ,,
Gen 2 voodo 19+ is better than gen 1
But will never and I mean never be better than a coyote in any aspect but stock form that’s it
Hey Big D, you already know I’m here EARLY. MY MAN 😂
I love it, got a video to watch almost every night from my fav youtouber🤩🔥🔥🔥💪🏽🤘🏽keep up the work fam💯
Mach was the better choice bro. My buddy had to replace his engine in his 18 350.... wasn't cheap
Here from IG homie 💪
