Juan P. Bartolome Diaz He's someone that you could pass on the streets and be like, "that dudes an accountant or a jewelry salesman" and would never know that he's a killer drummer in a badass band.
Great band. Daniel Rossen is one of the best songwriters in current music. Chris Taylor is an amazing producer and multi-instrumentalist, adding amazing textures to great songs. Chris Bear's drum work is fantastic. And Ed's voice and lyrics are an amazing addition to the band that sets them as one of the pinnacle bands of the modern era, and a band that I'm sure will be talked about for many years to come.
I feel like I’ve spent a lot of time watching videos looking for the best live band. I keep coming back to this performance. Every member right in their element; just incredible.
Sleeping Ute sounds so amazing, every single one of them is so talented. The added fifth member really puts their live show over the top in the best way
I tweeted Ed Droste how good his band sounds live while I was watching this video (or BECAUSE I was watching this video)..and he faved my tweet!! He appreciates my appreciation of his talent....Appreciate inception!
Bruh, if you told Super Mecha Jesus that what he did was great, I think he would say thank you also. It's just being polite. Then again though, if Ed Droste said thanks to me, that'd be pretty cool.
Luisa Fernanda Alfonso Yeah awesome. Ed (Droste) if you're out there....you're the man buddy. You remind a lot of Stephen Stills. That song Sleeping Ute is awesome.
Ed sounds amazing live!! Daniel singing Sun In your Eyes live is powerful holy sheet! Shout out to the unsung hero Chris Bear on drums and Chris Taylor is a multi-instrumental genius
gotta say they sound surprisingly good live... seems like you'll need a lot more than 4 players to recreate those arrangements, but they pull it off nicely
Yaniv Bin in reality they are 5 during the shows ,since 2012-2013 there is an additional musician to the group when they do concerts , Aaron Arntz. Srry for the english, I used Google translate ;)
I love how even in the rage section at the end of Yet Again you still hear all sorts of nuance and detail...Ridiculously good live band, I especially like the addition of a touring keyboards player.
totally agree with you. when I saw them live, Daniel was so natural, effortless, that was hard to believe he was there in flesh. amasing talent, amasing voice.
Such an amazing live band. Saw them at Bonnaroo. I might be giving them too much credit, but it seemed as if they slightly changed their songs to deal with the lack of reverb from being in an open space.
I love their albums. Been spinning them and B-Sides on vinyl and they sound incredible. I wish the live sound quality from this show was on par... It's hard for me to believe the sound at Coachella would be this bad of all places. Of course, this is a tough band to run sound for... THey all play diff instruments, and all sing lead at different times, and their arrangements maximize dynamics and nuance -not something easily achieved for crowds of 100+ thousands. Would love to see them live in a smaller venue
I think it sounds funky from the video because the audio for the video seems to be a room mic, not the actual board mix. If it were it'd probably be much better.
It’s 2023 and Grizzly Bear is STILL amazing!
💯
2024 and still !
Christopher Bear is just a beast.

Love this band. I need them doing music together again

I have watched this performance dozens of times
Every time I watch this show, it's a sweet reminder that this band is the best band in the world.
Sleeping Ute sounds so amazing, every single one of them is so talented. The added fifth member really puts their live show over the top in the best way
"Sun In Your Eyes" is amazing here! So powerful and so much emotion, its very beautiful!

Being at that show could have been a life-changer - if I’d been there. It was great to play there 7 years earlier though
The end of 'Yet Again' has Grizzly Bear sounding like a young Radiohead
Except better...
I cried to grizzly bear at coachella
Holy fuck, Sun is in Your Eyes.
Thanks for this concert !!!!!!Great!!!!!!!
this version of half gate is incredible!
live show is stunning; just absolutely stunning. anyone want a shot at the title, here they are!
On a Neck, On a Spit was great, wish they did the first half too, tho.
Great music guys!!!!! Thanks!
I love how even in the rage section at the end of Yet Again you still hear all sorts of nuance and detail...Ridiculously good live band, I especially like the addition of a touring keyboards player.
Thanks for uploading this!
What an incredible show. God bless these guys. I just wish they would play On a Neck, On a Spit in full whenever they play it live.
Love the performance of On a neck on a spit
Thanks for the effort!
thank you so much!!
I mean... most of the comments you've got are "thank you-s" so this might be redundant. THANK YOU!
Amazing band!!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Soooo BRIGHT. Soooooo long. I'm never comin' back!
Indeed, Aaron Arntz is amazing!
I like this.
Why does this keep skipping?
beautiful
Sound guy take a bow
wow...after seeing them live, i can't mention a band that performs better than Grizzly Bear
Has Daniel ever once looked like he was having a good time lol
Wish they would put I live with you back in their set
What's the song called that starts at 29:5? And what's the song called after knife?
This is supposed to fixed!
You're not, they adjust accordingly with the venue.
