Actually I take that back cut out along with ready able and some others are just my favorite songs of all time. Grizzly bear is just the best band in the history of music 😤
If you were here, you have no idea how lucky you were! This is GB on top form in my opinion. Also, this version of Fine for Now is mindblowingly gorgeous
...siempre pienso que Grizzly Bear suena como se escucharía un pintura crearse por si sola, donde nosotros somos los espectadores si saber que estamos dentro de ella...
Once, when I saw GB in concert, they told the crowd a song was about the MBTA's Red Line. Well, no more Grizzly Bear and the Orange Line burst into 🔥🔥🔥 Luckily the internet captured this great live band, baybea!
This is freaking amazing, but any chance to upload it with a better quality? Also, I can’t believe Ed left the band. I really need them doing music together again.
Dan needs his own solo BAND, on the side again.. Like DoE I guess. Theres so many songs now, where Ed refuses to sing about anything but relationships, love songs, meanwhile, Dans delving deep into human suffering, his own souls mysteries and others, the melancholy of life. They will do this on the same songs, Ed's part usually, in my opinion, never really matches up with Daniel's lyrics. Its just not Daniel's subject matter, none of his songs are really love songs. Pretty sure I've found all of Rossens work. Love the songs, just wish they'd compromise once in a while, mainly Ed, and have a steady theme of the songs lyrics. It feels like Dan's song featuring Ed Droste sometimes. Like a rap feature lol Started realizing long ago. Dan is the main creative force of GB. He just never stops writing and creating. Well, he's appeared missing lately.. wish he would keep it alive, know they all have kids, but at least keep a Radiohead like method of pretty steady releases, in multiple ways outside of office albums They are very similar bands of quality imo.. and thats a tall order
absolutley agree, and im shocked that theyve touched some else as much as they have me. i think ive learned that working in bands (groups in general) arent actually about collaborating between everyone but 1-2 people leading the charge like you said. so with that in mind, i dont think itd ever be possible to have them compromise. thats just how groups are, and if you try to “fix” it, you kill the vibe or whatever you wanna call it
I've been noticing the same thing. I was listening to Painted Ruins lately with my mom while going through all the lyrics and the contrast was very apparent, especially on Losing All Sense. I do think however that Ed's lyricism and songs about relationships and love are very potent and well written, I find them to be very meaningful and in a way I prefer them over Dan's.
Supposedly, Ed has left the band to pursue a different career and Dan is working on a solo album, so it seems like things are pretty much going the way you want them to.
Bon eh bien faute de charisme ils ont du talent Petite préférence pour "Mourning Sound" avec laquelle je les ai découvert et bon point pour eux:Lindsey Buckingham les apprécie !
I miss Grizzly Bear so much 😥
Me too
Same here
I refuse to believe they’re done. I never got to see them. I blew a chance to see them in Denver after Painted Ruins. I will never forgive myself 😔
@@djalex8080 I really hope I get to see them live at least once in the future. Painted Ruins is one of my fav albums of all time
Ed Droste now a licenced therapist already. I miss them so much
who disliked this video? what did they expect? actual bears? love this set.
ahahah
Nobody ever talks about Chris! Interchanging instruments, high harmony vocals Rickenbacker bass..... He's a damn gem.
Chris’ drumming on fine for now!!!!!!
Best indie drummer since...since ever maybe:)
What a flawless band, I hope they reunite one day.
the end of Fine for Now is still jams so f*cking hard
When I listen to grizzly bear I spontaneously combust because of how amazing all of their songs are
you can tell ed is just thinking of nachos the entire time
WHO WASN'T??
Opening with beautiful Aquarian!! I have watched this performance so many times, they are flawless 😍
Chris Bear at the 37min mark goes full on! Some of the best drumming I've ever seen.
Please come back GB
I hope that they release more vekatamest like albums
Cut-out❤️
Cut out is probably my favorite of the album and top 3 of all grizzly bear songs.
Actually I take that back cut out along with ready able and some others are just my favorite songs of all time. Grizzly bear is just the best band in the history of music 😤
Speaking of, I feel like cut-out and gun-shy are pretty similar sounding, which is fitting cause they’re the two songs with dashed titles
Decided to check out this show cause I LOVE these guys. Then I looked at the comments…I’m devastated to just find out they are no more. 😭
If you were here, you have no idea how lucky you were! This is GB on top form in my opinion. Also, this version of Fine for Now is mindblowingly gorgeous
Cliché, but also truth: All killer. No filler. GB need to return!
Why don’t more people like this band?
Cause they don’t “get it”.
I shed a single tear at the end
Thanks for posting. I've had a grizzly day today. Can't stop listening to painted ruins now
What an amazing venue. This crowd was so lucky. I bet this is a show they will never forget. I absolutely adore this band

Amazing band and performance 🤩🤩🤩🤩
This set is so good. Their best and latest up front. Bold and powerful, and the classics sprinkled in later on. So so good.
Literally the perfect set list, great concert.

Sensational!
Such a great band
...siempre pienso que Grizzly Bear suena como se escucharía un pintura crearse por si sola, donde nosotros somos los espectadores si saber que estamos dentro de ella...

To be fair, Ed has written some of the Best songs in GB

Dan is releasing solo stuff RIGHT NOW 🔥
propah enjoyed
Psychedelic Rock
what i'd do to have the separate audio files of this show...
Ed is your manager.
Bon eh bien faute de charisme ils ont du talent Petite préférence pour "Mourning Sound" avec laquelle je les ai découvert et bon point pour eux:Lindsey Buckingham les apprécie !
I only came here for two albums: yellow house and Veckatimest

Not a bad band… very different sound and style.
Lo que no es alabanza, es holocausto.
