I discovered this band from a Reddit post on a sensory deprivation experience of all things. I must have been living under a rock because this band is amazing. So glad to discover them better late than never.
i think that the combination between Robin Pecknold and Josh Tillman’ voices is one of the most beautiful things I’ve heard in my whole life. It’s a shame it ended to exist but probably it was the right thing for both
Oh my god, they're even better live...The fact that they can surpass the superb quality of their LP's and EP in their live perfomances shows how truly talented these guys are.I was hoping they'd played Someone you'd admire but it's ok,I guess...Also,I'm really sad they're on hiatus, hope they get back again in the future!
Tillman has the freshest beats Pecknold is flawless Ragged wood kills when it drops My pants are stuck to my leg I imagine all of their songs in a movie soundtrack I gotta go work on the script now
Fleet Foxes..... They are so amazing... I saw them live 2017 in cologne, Germany. Their spirit is unbelievable. Good vibes are the best thing in the world... Ther isnt more i can say...
Words cannot describe how much I fucking love this band!!! I really am sad that I didn't get to see them live before they broke up. At least I'll get to see Tillman perform here in Vegas on the 15th.
Honestly it's such a fucking shame fjm's mic drooped during helplessness blues. His vocal harmonies alongside christian wargo were incredible. This was probably the best live version of helplessness blues.
thewordofgord They could have had it, but they dropped off. Maybe they are trying to build anticipation. They better do something soon or the iron will be cooled.
Ryan Kudasik Their silent will make them legendary ! They don't need to make 100000 albums to become famous. This band will become a classic, trust me ;)
thewordofgord They are ok and certainly not very original. I've heard it before and i'm not buying the originality of their sound. It sounds forced. I thought for a few weeks I liked them, then I heard through them. It's better to create your own sound then to do this.
"the sun is shining." (inner monologue)- why the did i just say that. Robin, "what was that?" (inner monologue) fuck fuck fuck, "the sun is shining..."
The crowd may not be moving much, but I respect this for a few reasons. 1) They are really focused. They are probably having eargasms. 2) They don't have their stupid cellphones out. I reckon Robin wouldn't mind a crowd like this. Father John Misty/Tillman is more of a showman anyways.
One of my favorite bands ever, time will provide them the credit they deserve as the conyas of the so called music world die on the vine. (yes i mispelled his name)
I think the copyright holders/publishers put the ads there. It's normally how they do it, either that or they block the whole thing. I don't know what I'd do without adblock for this concert, the ads are at some of the most random places.
Please for the love of god somebody send me an upload of the Austin City Limits episode they did with Joanna Newsom. I know someone out there has to have it.
You're totally right. I hope he does though. I'm seeing J. Tillman in his Father John Misty project next weekend so it's nice to see him still doing stuff. But it would be awesome to see him with the Fleet Foxes.
Robin Pecknold: the first musician to play an entire concert with his eyes closed.
I might be the second :P
Does Stevie Wonder not count?
Heglin Ray?
that's because you can see other stuff with yer eyes closed
But his soul was open
"I'm telling you to clap." Jeb Bush reused this years later.
I discovered this band from a Reddit post on a sensory deprivation experience of all things. I must have been living under a rock because this band is amazing. So glad to discover them better late than never.
love how they add a third verse to the second section in the shrine an argument
"im tellin you to clap" dudee tillman, such sass
Will always be one of my top favorite bands
i think that the combination between Robin Pecknold and Josh Tillman’ voices is one of the most beautiful things I’ve heard in my whole life. It’s a shame it ended to exist but probably it was the right thing for both
While I agree, they sound better live now in 2022 than ever before.
Robin is an incredibly amazing singer.
Oh my god, they're even better live...The fact that they can surpass the superb quality of their LP's and EP in their live perfomances shows how truly talented these guys are.I was hoping they'd played Someone you'd admire but it's ok,I guess...Also,I'm really sad they're on hiatus, hope they get back again in the future!

at 1:03:09, Josh is trying to fix his mic. at 1:03:27, Josh is trying to destroy his mic. a year later, Josh leaves the band. Thanks, mic.
+Patrick Burns Lol he was pissed at 1:03:27, but hey, it was the last song and he was like "fuck it"
Such a shame, he was harmonizing beautifully
I mean,your logic is flawless
this is the most beautiful set in history. the performance, the atmosphere, the crowd, everything is perfect
They play it just like the studio versions. They're so talented and unique and awesome. Thanks for the upload!!
Drops in the River. Epic. 7:50 mark
Oh wow, fleet foxes, you are creating such a beautiful image. It is like 40 years ago has been put into our hearts again with today's view. Majestic!
True artists. With a long way to go. Please come back tho!!!
Amazing band!! LOVE those harmonies! Incredible musicians!
A melhor Banda de Folk!
Felipe Silva Se voce gostou dessa deveria ouvir jethro tull- thick as a brick

+softlysoaringmelody They're just on hiatus!
+Yem Iso I know. I just would've liked to see them with this line-up and these songs. Luckily I will be seeing Robin next month!
@@softlysoaringmelody was lucky i saw this tour without knowing who they were.
11:52 how is this backing note even achievable?? this kind of falsetto makes me wonder what his vocal range is
Reminds me of the Beach Boys
murmulho Christian Wargo ladies and gentlemen........
Honestly it's such a fucking shame fjm's mic drooped during helplessness blues. His vocal harmonies alongside christian wargo were incredible. This was probably the best live version of helplessness blues.
Glorious performance
i miss fleet foxes ;_;
me too :(
aren't they active anymore?
They are back !!!!
Vincent Le Floch what? explain
Go follow Robin Pecknold on Instagram.
I'm telling you to clap
thanks so much for thisss! It would be great to hear some new music from this guys soon
my favourite band
When i first heard of the fleetfoxes their 3rd album was my favorite not realizing their 2nd is so masterful and beyond amazing
Fleet Foxes: you're good going on great now, and I predict huge fame in the future.
A harmony band that rocks out: you can't beat it.
thewordofgord They could have had it, but they dropped off. Maybe they are trying to build anticipation. They better do something soon or the iron will be cooled.
Ain't gonna happen, they are done
Ryan Kudasik Their silent will make them legendary !
They don't need to make 100000 albums to become famous.
This band will become a classic, trust me ;)

***** I wonder if J. Tillman's gonna come back? he certainly added something to FF. but he's Father John Misty now.
"I'm telling you to clap"
Josh is tired of this crowd's shit
That totally shocked me too hahaha
White Winter Hymnal... so beautiful :-)
16:16 Zero fucks about the string breaking.
Robin is a spectacular tenor...
But Christian Wargo has to be at least a mezzo soprano.
Tillman’s creativity with the drums made the Fleetfoxes better
Ragged woood! Fuckin excellent
incredible,full mind experience
volta 💛😭
FMJ is so good doing backing vocals at the end of Mykonos
Listen to this once a week. Sooooo good!
"I'm telling you to clap"
its me probable but fleet foxes in my head sounds like christmas
battery kinzie is my new fave xmas song
Goddess band for decade.
Still as fresh in 2020.
Awesome. Great band.
So tight. Bravo!
Love these guys. Kinda wish the secondary vocalist's mike was turned a bit down for most of these songs, though.
Sim Sala Bim ❤️
beautiful. Thanks, man!
Beautiful!!!
"the sun is shining." (inner monologue)- why the did i just say that. Robin, "what was that?" (inner monologue) fuck fuck fuck, "the sun is shining..."
The crowd may not be moving much, but I respect this for a few reasons.

I reckon Robin wouldn't mind a crowd like this. Father John Misty/Tillman is more of a showman anyways.
That drummer should really quit and start his own thing.
+LeeChavezMusic Saw him a few weeks back, FJM is very captivating as the front man.
Jodi Molloy Totally! One of the best.
I'm pretty sure he would fail miserably.. LOL
Yeah.. he might just wind up writing the best album of the year or something of the sort
Weber Candilora pure comedy is a work of art
Outrageously good!
One of my favorite bands ever, time will provide them the credit they deserve as the conyas of the so called music world die on the vine. (yes i mispelled his name)
What the hell is on his guitar? 1:04:06
It's interesting and I want it.
It look like he somehow integrated a kalimba into is set up. Using the keys to hammer on his guitar strings. Just a guess.
@@randyhospodar8864 if you ever find out let me know, I once knew the name of this mod but have lost my notes
que saudades :(
so good damn
Ya somos dos.Por favor ven algún día a Perú.
Paloma
beautiful stuff. Being in that band looks exhausting, though.
Lol at 1:03:26 when Father John cracks the shits with his mic!!!
this is good stuff
This is life
"The sun in shining!!!!!" ahahahaha love it
The best ever
I Love This
final part of drums on your protector (26:45) 😍 only Josh 😢
Anyone know if it's possible to obtain a dvd copy of this somewhere on the interwebz?
yo josh plays the intro to grown ocean almost exactly the same as down with the sickness
at the height of the powers. maybe they were just too good
Cool
@17:30 anyone know what that is attached the guitar bridge?
1:03:27 LMAOOOOOO This drummer is wild!!!
16.06 they reborn

ohhhhh :)
Dose any one know the brand of the mike the lead singer is using?
+james smith Shure SM7B
+smeltnight2002 thanks
Does Robin Pecknold not look just like Josh from Straincentral?
Did these guys arrive via.a time machine ? Cuz they sound like they came from the late '60s or '70s. Love it.
Karen Mary yeah, there is more than a drop of the Band in them
more like they came from medieval age
Just say no to monetizing unoriginal content.
I think the copyright holders/publishers put the ads there.
It's normally how they do it, either that or they block the whole thing.
I don't know what I'd do without adblock for this concert, the ads are at some of the most random places.
dude is crashin the cymbals with a maraca. no fucks given
Lorelai seems to be a pretty direct descendent of Dylan's second time around... well... there's nothin I can say
What are these guys doing nowadays?
Please for the love of god somebody send me an upload of the Austin City Limits episode they did with Joanna Newsom. I know someone out there has to have it.
Came here to have a good time ended up spotting someone in the crowd that looks exactly like my ex boyfriend so that went well
Hehe, maybe the universe is trying to tell you something.
Josh moments @17:08 and @1:03:27
You should be allowed to sit down at concerts.
Come back :(
+Camila Ulloa Their vocalist announced that they are most likely getting back together soon!
+Shane Mcnealy I hope so!, though I don't think J. Tillman will come back, Fleet Foxes wont be the same without him.
You're totally right. I hope he does though. I'm seeing J. Tillman in his Father John Misty project next weekend so it's nice to see him still doing stuff. But it would be awesome to see him with the Fleet Foxes.
They released another album!
@@gabrielledennis549 I know! And it's so beautiful. I was counting the hours 🖤
