+Keeper Oath Well sure, probably, but if you're subscribed to this channel there's a good chance you're interested in Tristano's personal history in modern weapons, or his thought processes in choosing and selecting a firearm in the UK, a location even more stringent on firearms than NYC. Plenty of us firearm enthusiasts are also aspiring gentlemen (and vice versa!), believe it or not.
Congrats on your Navitimer TGV. It's one of my all-time favorites as well, although I do not own one. The blue dial is amazing... fine choice. Wear it in good health my friend.
Enjoy your new Breitling Navi, it's an iconic and fine pice! Have a nice stay in your UK home and I can't wait to see your reviews of both the Navi and the Combat Sub.
Incredible taste. A telegraph, stunning classical music by the fire with a respectable watch on, maybe a cup of coffee. I just can't get over your class. In the best, more admirable ways! I've become such a big fan.
Excellent watch. A great example of the beautiful Breitling Navitimer. Has to be one my favourite watches, the dial is just stunning. Congrats on getting a really great watch. It has a true classic design and matched with a splendid history. Enjoy mate!!
What a gem of an older video I have stumbled upon. I have been watching your channel for over a year now and a year ago is when I started collecting watches. I’m hoping to put a lot of work in to buy this watch by the summer of 2021 or 2022.
Hi TGV, hope you're enjoying being back in the British countryside, only discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I'm really enjoying the content, the way you conduct yourself in such a classy way really resonates with myself, and its great to see that old fashioned gentleman traditions do still exist in our modern society, btw the Navi is a stunner best wishes from a fellow brit and keep the great videos coming
Btw, the travel case you've shown is the one you get back from service. The one that should be in the box is the leather one with hard sides and flip top. Service case is more usable though. Great Watch.
You know, I have to pay my respects to TGV for being so honest & sincere with his viewers. To come out publicly and recognize he was being injust towards the TAG brand (14:58) only enhances his credibility and makes me an avid listener to the guy's opinion. Keep rocking, dude! My whole family loves your videos!
Greatest of congratulations on your latest acquisition! The Breity! Enjoy your well deserved rest and relaxation and behalf of the other viewers a million thanks for the update and your dedication to the channel and your viewers. Cheers! P.s. I love how the lust for a new timepiece kicks in (TAG) immediately after the mini-review! :) ohh how we love our watches!
That Navi is a very impressive addition to your collection. Congrats! Your sitting room looks absolutely comfy. If I was in that room they would have to pull me out with a crane! Enjoy your holiday.
Man this vid makes me nostalgic! In 3 days it will have been a year! I was in such anticipation when this video was released since I was so excited to see your Navi unboxing! You should do more of the hip-hop-ish intros like on this video. That shit is badass!!!
What a beauty it must make you very proud to own such and amazing watch. I bought my first breitling today and I know how good I felt the first time I put it on. I hope to add the navitimer and the super avenger II to my collection.
Happy to hear you arrived safely and all is well, and most importantly back here in the UK. I must say, the dial on the Navi is stunning, really nice choice. Not happy about the Telegraph though ;) All the best
I never thought I'd be able to pull off the size of a Navitimer, even though I love their look. But now TGV bought one. When do you think we'll see a full review? I'm trying to wait for you to help me to determine: 1. Is it too tall/how it sits on the wrist, and 2. BLUE vs BLACK?
Navitimer is truly an iconic watch. It is synonym for Breitling. I simply adore it ! It is too big for my wrist so I opted for much smaller Montbrillant that is no longer in production. Nevertheless, Navitimer remains my beloved watch ! Thank you for sharing !
Love it, great choice. For me, I think I prefer the Speedmaster in a side by side review. The Breitling is just a bit busy for me, not to say I wouldn't love to have one. Great addition to your collection. Congratulations!
Hope the flight was safe and uneventful, Governor! The way they package their watch is indeed pure class. Very nice travel case. As for the watch, that is bee-yoot-i-ful! Looking forward to the retail therapy and surrounding scenery.
+Ken Cooper Great flight thankfully, thanks Ken for the well wishes. Cant wait to share it all on the channel :D Happy my holidays my friend. Best regards, TGV
@Brian Connolly is on the money with regards to the Lug Width of the Navitimer. All Timepieces were intended for Function before aesthetics and class came into play. 22mm is good, besides there are many strap options for that lug width.
Thanks TGV, you really opened my eyes about the Navitimer with this. I'm in love with toolwatches and already owning a black TagHeuer Aquaracer 300m and a manual Speedmaster Moonwatch, I was looking for a blue face watch. My eyes were setting on another Omega (the Seamaster Diver 300m co-axial ceramic), but lately I was also thinking about getting a smaller Rolex Datejust 116234, again in blue, and playing a bit with straps. Now I'm all about trying a Navitimer on my wrist, looks like it could be the watch i was looking for. Your videos are priceless, feels like chatting with a tasteful friend. Thanks a million!
+Riccardo Acciari Thank you so much Riccardo, truly flattered. WOW, you are going to have a killer collection, love your choices. Good luck my friend, enjoy the hunt. Best regards, TGV
Welcome back mate. Nice to see u sipping Tea like a propa Englishman haha. What a lovely Navitimer i love that blue dial. one of my grail watches. I too was going to get my Speedy from Watch finder. But I got it from Omega on Regent st. after some propa haggling. Must as Omega service was fantastic. Anyway looking forward to the Speedy vs Navi battle. Take care mate. Tony
Hi TGV, The intro is very cool. Especially you, in the taxi with sun glasses on! ;) IMHO you made the right decision with your Navitimer. The Transocean 38 would have been only a compromise. It seems you are very happy with your new Breitling. And the blue and white dial looks gorgeous to me. Best regards, Claus
It's absolutely stunning, beautiful watch. I like its size, I do prefer this smaller version, I think the 46 mm version is way too big. Thank you for the nice review, enjoy your stay in the UK. Greetings from Hungary.
Welcome home TGV. Enjoy the Nav. I am not a Breitling fan to be honest or a chrono convert I have realised. I was glad to hear about your experience of Watchfinder UK. I have been tempted to use them or Watchclub. Regards KE
+Senecal Thank you KE, Watchfinder are great, they are extremely professional and I feel secure with them, which to me is the most important thing. Best regards, TGV
TGV! Hope you're finding your home as relaxing and pleasant as I find mine whenever I make the trip to Ethiopia, I can definitely relate to the eeriness of the quite at night lol. The Navitimer Dial is absolutely breathtaking, that blue is Pure Class if I may say so lol. I also love the leather strap with the buckle kind of the best of a bracelet with the class of a leather strap. Since you were going to get this or the the Transocean it would be marvelous if you can ever do a duel if you can get your hands on a trancocean. That one as gotten my eye and would love to see it go heads up with the Navitimer. At any rate, enjoy your visit back home and have a wonderful holidays.
+Ethiopianraver Thank you my friend. As always, I really enjoy reading your comment. That duel would be amazing, good excuse to get the Transocean LOL ;-) Best regards, TGV
+The Urban Gentry I'm looking forward to the chrono duel between Navitimer and Omega Moonwatch (is it the Moonwatch?!; they have a few not-dissimilar models...); and the Glycine review... Thanks TGV. Great as ever. Bit of a change of pace from NYC to lovely Norfolk! :-)
Congratulations on reaching your Breitling goal TGV. There's a Watchfinders opened in Leeds now, I'll be paying a visit soon hopefully. Fan of the Aquaracer myself, narrowly lost out on one recently. Looking forward to more of your rural adventures!
Beautiful. Please shoot some footage of England for those of us who've never been and don't forget to visit where your grandfathers ceremony was held. Cheers, Sam
The Sub, Speedy and Navitimer are some incredible trio of watches. Congrats on the purchase! I'm sure you will enjoy it. I have always wanted a Navitimer as well. The dial is just gorgeous. Cheers!
congratulations on the navi a beautiful piece my friend, the sacrifices where made in the collection but wow certainly worth it a stunning watch sir, glad your flight was smooth and back in blighty safe and sound, enjoy the tranquillity of country life, recharge the batteries tgv, all the best Ryan.
I love the watch. I prefer the balck and white dial. I´d like to buy one but i´m concerned about the size. Should I go for the B01 43mm or is it better the oformer 42mm version?
Good to see you back in the UK for the Christmas period. like you I enjoy a nice relaxing break at this time . Reading the Radio Times to see what classical broadcasts are on R3 and any seasonal treats are on R4, sherry, port etc...Great choice of the Navtimer. I have not paid much attention this model before but very interesting. Keep up the great content ! (currently wearing my seiko SKZ209K1 on a rubber strap.)
Ohhh! Really nice piece. I too has been lusting to get one into my collection for some years but have not done so primarily due to the busy dial with the slide calculator... and recent years Sinn offer their 903 which make it more difficult for me to decide which one to go for. So any advice? Very happy that you finally get your Navitimer, wear it in good health! Enjoy london.
Beautiful watch. I love the sunburst dial with the white sub dials. I like the leather as well. the 22mm band width looks fine on that watch. Can wait for the duel. Nice addition. I almost went for the aquaracer over the oris a few months ago. But It reminded me too much of my seamaster. Not that that's a bad thing.
Welcome back to the UK TGV Nice video as usual. Totally agree with your opinion of Watchfinder, they sourced my Omega SeaMaster 2220.80. Love it and would use them again. Look Forward to your next video from good old blighty.
Soooo jealous. Congrats my friend, you deserve it with all the information you provide here. This is going to be my 40th birthday present. Congrats again and happy holidays!
41mm case. What model was it ... and what age? If I may ask? Aside of Navitimer 92, which was 40mm only and without date, the smallest Navi case that I saw was 42mm older Cosmonaute. Still a beautiful looking watch. I am just a bit surprised, that Watchfinder didn't re-polish the back. Watchclub in Bond Street would never sold the watch without servicing and re-polishing it.
Welcome back to the Mother Country TGV! I'm in rural Shropshire so I know what you mean about the quiet, I wouldn't have it any other way myself :-) I've never been a big fan of Breitling, dials are a bit too busy for me but the Navi looks good on you mate. Enjoy your stay!
Great story on this magnificant timepiece. Yeah, I could talk on the same level of passion when it comes to these wonderful watches! Cheers from Holland
Congrats Tristan, that in my opinion is a classic breitling watch and will never age, where did you buy that nato strap on the watch you are wearing, it looks thick, my one seems thin compared to it, was it wrist candy. Thanks Jason
Hello TGV Very nice piece you got there. I am also looking for a Breitling since a while. First I thought about the Breitling superocean heritage 42mm but now I tend more to the AVENGER II GMT. Well I will take one`s time until I pull the trigger, will see where I get stuck. Wish you a lot of pleasure with yours. Best regards from Pattaya Daniel E.
I believe they redesigned the aquaracer and it debut at baselworld this year. You should definitely try to get one it. It looks quite stunning from the photos I've seen. Congrats on the new watch!
+theurbangentry welcome back to England. How long are you here for? it would be great to see a video around your local area, ive never been to Norfolk. splendid navitimer, thats what I picture in my head when I think breitling. I think 22mm is a good strap width, pilots need something secure to go over their sleeves. great watch.
I must admit I have never been a Breitling fan, mostly because a guy I truly dislike collects them... but this navitimer is stunning! OMG it's gorgeous! the questions I have to ask my self are... will it fit in my collection? will it fit in my life style? will my wife let me buy it? LOL!!!!! Congratulations on an truly amazing piece! Thank you for sharing it with us!
+daltonjr Ciao Dalty! "will my wife let me buy it?" LOL ;-) When are we going to see a video tour of that Mazy you were driving on the instagram?!?! Great comment, thank you Dalty. Best regards, TGV
T, I wrote that as a joke but in reality every purchase I make has my wives approval, financially and esthetically. ;-) The Maserati was the car I drove this week in Seattle, it was a rental.
I have to say, I have not been this excited to see a video in a bit. I saw the notification yesterday but decided to wait until this morning to watch with my morning coffee. Great video and I can't wait to see a full review! That is one stunning piece. I love the blue with the white ring. Very nice! I look forward to more videos and do hope you will do some videos outdoors. Also I absolutely love your sweater. Who makes it??
Breitling Navitimer is an iconic watch, you can't go wrong. Cheers.
+Bob FromBrisbane Thank you Bob. Indeed!
Best regards,
TGV
How about a closer look at that rifle propped up by your window?
Seconded.
Thirded
+Paul Bright Looks like an Air-Rifle. Great for putting squirrels & rabbits in a Crock Pot. :>)

only for breitling protection
Breitling is my favorite watch brand. Just love the overall look.
Congrats on your Navitimer TGV. It's one of my all-time favorites as well, although I do not own one. The blue dial is amazing... fine choice. Wear it in good health my friend.
Love Breitling, and the Navi is the most iconic in their line up, congrats.
Enjoy your new Breitling Navi, it's an iconic and fine pice! Have a nice stay in your UK home and I can't wait to see your reviews of both the Navi and the Combat Sub.
Man, that's the exact Navitimer that I want! Looks so great on you. Super psyched that you finally got one. Enjoy it!
A Navitimer, a Submariner, and the Man on the Moon, rounds out the ultimate collection!! Congrats TGV! Enjoy!!

Service case is more usable though. Great Watch.
+MuRph77 Great to know, thank you for adding that.

Loved the “welcoming” rifle by the door!😳
It's an air rifle lol

The watch is stunning and the band is just as impressive and deserves to make a bold statement. Great choice!

Beautiful watch, one of the absolute must-owns in modern horology. Mine will have the black dial but the blue is a close run second. Enjoy!
This is my dream watch. This and its land and sea counterparts. Nothing else excites me. Congrats!

What a beauty it must make you very proud to own such and amazing watch. I bought my first breitling today and I know how good I felt the first time I put it on. I hope to add the navitimer and the super avenger II to my collection.
Eagle has landed quote should be with Omega Speedmaster, aka Moonwatch.

Love it, great choice. For me, I think I prefer the Speedmaster in a side by side review. The Breitling is just a bit busy for me, not to say I wouldn't love to have one. Great addition to your collection. Congratulations!
+Bob Shore Thank you Bob. The speedy is indeed the classier watch.

Love the watch. Beautiful. With a wonderfully busy dial like that,I would prefer a little larger case.46mm would be my choice. Thanks TGV
@Brian Connolly is on the money with regards to the Lug Width of the Navitimer. All Timepieces were intended for Function before aesthetics and class came into play. 22mm is good, besides there are many strap options for that lug width.

It's absolutely stunning, beautiful watch. I like its size, I do prefer this smaller version, I think the 46 mm version is way too big. Thank you for the nice review, enjoy your stay in the UK. Greetings from Hungary.

Beautiful blue dial!
You have me very curious to learn more about the Glycine.
Enjoy your time in the UK...
Same here! When I first saw the Glycine I thought it was a bit meh but now I'm really liking the watch, especially on a NATO.
TGV! Hope you're finding your home as relaxing and pleasant as I find mine whenever I make the trip to Ethiopia, I can definitely relate to the eeriness of the quite at night lol. I've never been a big fan of Breitling, dials are a bit too busy for me but the Navi looks good on you mate.
Enjoy your stay!
+FR33STyla72 Thank you, glad to be back.

"Gorgeous day today" sits inside rubbing his hands in a thick sweater
If its a horrible weather he will be out dancing in the rain ...

Sweet movement
New ones use in house movements and they are great.
Wonderful watch! I was wondering what size your wrist is? It would be useful to see how certain watches fit.
Great story on this magnificant timepiece. Yeah, I could talk on the same level of passion when it comes to these wonderful watches! Cheers from Holland
+Christiaan Spaan Thank you :D

Beautiful watch, TGV! Can't wait for your review!
Congrats Tristan, that in my opinion is a classic breitling watch and will never age, where did you buy that nato strap on the watch you are wearing, it looks thick, my one seems thin compared to it, was it wrist candy. Thanks Jason
I’m not a Breitling fan, but I love that watch, pure class and suits you well.
the Aquaracer 300m calibre 16 crono ceramic is an eye catcher, wow.
Hello TGV
Very nice piece you got there.
I am also looking for a Breitling since a while.
First I thought about the Breitling superocean heritage 42mm but now I tend more to the AVENGER II GMT.
Well I will take one`s time until I pull the trigger, will see where I get stuck.
Wish you a lot of pleasure with yours.
Best regards from Pattaya

I believe they redesigned the aquaracer and it debut at baselworld this year. You should definitely try to get one it. It looks quite stunning from the photos I've seen. Congrats on the new watch!
+lucas santoro Good to know, thank you for sharing that. They are certainly on my radar.

Stunning piece. Looking forward to the full review!
I'm happy you are back home for a little while. :-)
+Stefano Cecchini Grazie Stefano!
Hope you are well my friend.
Best regards,

Great choice, the Navitimer is one of those wish watches I'd like to have along with the Speedmaster.
+Bill67J Thank you.

"will my wife let me buy it?" LOL ;-)
When are we going to see a video tour of that Mazy you were driving on the instagram?!?!
Great comment, thank you Dalty.

T, I wrote that as a joke but in reality every purchase I make has my wives approval, financially and esthetically. ;-)
The Maserati was the car I drove this week in Seattle, it was a rental.
seeing you visit your country side home made me nostalgic for mine, awesome intro TGV and beautiful shade of blue of that dial
+Adrian Haro Thank you Adrian.

+Sylver Chavez Thank you Sylver, :D
