Always love your videos! I didn't know there was a smaller navitimer. I'm going to check out and also figure out how slide rules work. Great work as always!
This channel is going to end up costing me a bunch of money, I think. Had never seen this Breitling, the Speedmaster 38 or even really the Speedmaster reduced and now I’m saying to myself “Maybe I could get all 3… 🤔” Love your taste in watches; it’s introduced me to many cool, new pieces
Love this… such a well shot, considered video. Made me reconsider the Navi as an option. I’m loving my Avenger 43 GMT at the minute but it’s so “tooly” that it needs a dressier companion… great work
This video changed my mind about the Navitimer. I’ve never been a fan but the 38mm is a tempting lure. Plus the blue is a little bit richer to me than the dark blue in the larger version. Great video!
Great video!! One of the top 10 True Icon watches of all time!! That 809 re edition was a masterpiece! Really looking forward to next year they're celebrating their 70 anniversary since first models were build in 52, I'm sure Mr. Kern with have the most exciting Navitimer editions yet
A polarizing watch? The Navitimer is the most beautiful watch ever made. I don't know how anybody could hate the Navitimer unless they are looking at one with an obscene color scheme.... and they do exist. The one you showcased is gorgeous.
Never really into Navitimer or Breitling the dial is always too busy for me but this one you have is stunning and the blue dial looks smart. Fantastic job on the narrative as always; just enough information to spark interest and research more on our own. It appears you travel quite a bit; maybe a classic “world timer” for your next video topic?
I never cared about watches until one day I saw a big ad with John Travolta infront of spitfire with an Navitimer. I've never seen a more beautiful watch and I knew I need to have it. Shocked to see the price but it didnt stop me. A few years later I bought it when my daughter was born. It always makes me smile looking down on it.
Awesome video! It's nice to see more Breitling videos. The Montbrillant A41370 or A41330 is also a nice alternative 38mm "Navi-esque" Breitling> Also the gold dial variants were all actually Blue dials at one point. Depending on the environment, the pigment will slowly go "clear", leaving the brass dial visible underneath. Tropical dial of sorts. Yours may evenly/unevenly fade to gold over time too.
The gold "version" of this watch was simply a blue one that had faded. They tend to fade like that it if worn hard in certain environments. There are several articles about it. But I don't think they ever made a gold dial one, correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks a lot. Just to point out, there is also something called a Navitimer Airborne which has same case dimensions, but adds a date dial (not window) at 12...
Hi! Thank you for this interesting, not too big, but enough informative video. I am in love with the Navitimer model!... His slide rule bezel make feel so different, like I am in a magic world of mathematics, where numerals transformation create so new and parallel worlds!... At the moment I can't bay an original one model and I find for myself his functional alternative in Casio EF-527D-1A. Like you may know his diameter is almost 46 mm and it is a little bigger for me (my wrist is 7.5 inch, but 46 mm is on the edge of comfortable size). I have too new generation of Strela chronograph (Officer variation of the model with 24 hour indicator). His diameter is only 38 mm. Until I get this model, I think that 38 mm is too small for chronograph in our days, but now think that 38 mm is perfect and comfortable size for for tool instrument like Navitimer. After your video for this size of the Navitimer model, I think that want right this one! Thank you for your point of view at this significant watch!
The "gold" dial is actually the blue dial which turned into a tropical dial over time. Not every blue dial Navitimer 92 turn into this tropical/gold dial though, which i think makes it more special.
Excellent review. Breitling does make a good watch, but the Navitimer was always too busy of a dial for my tastes. Though I can understand why others embrace it from a tool watch perspective.
Hi Max, I'm recently checking out on the Navitimer line. I have a small wrist and therefore 38mm should be the perfect size. Could I get your thoughts on comparing between this A30022 and the 2018released Navi without Chrono version? The price for a brand new no-chrono is roughly the same as a 2nd hand A30022. Please guide me. Thank you! Thank you for the great video!! Cheers
I have the white-dial Montbrillant. 38mm. Interestingly, it looks smaller on my wrist (6”) than in the video. Maybe the Arabic number and two-color dial make it look more like a Navitimer. I took it out on motorcycle rides and use the slide rule to calculate bulk costs of merchandise. I have used slide rules even before I got the watch, and it’s good for making mathematical decisions in business, since all the numbers are payed out on a scale, instead of logarithmically. I wish it’s slightly bigger 40mm would be perfect for me.
I have small wrist, about 6.5 Inc, but I still do think even 46 still wearable. I think of all Breitling watches, the navitimer is the only ones that actually wear smaller? Personally I think the panda dial look better than any dial colours.
That watch looks great! I'm eyeballing the 43mm version, but what do you think about water resistance (30m)? Do you ever feel worried when washing your hands or are out heavy rains?
So, Max. Is it strange that I put your Navitimer vid on loop while I worked on my mod? And I’m a meticulous (read: slow) modder, so I think I will be dreaming about the 38mm Breitling, lightning, thunder, mortars, and bombs tonight. Once again, well done review. Thanks!
I really love this Navitimer. I also have small wrist so I enjoy a lot your taste! Since I have started to watch your channel I have already bought 2 watches, the Speedy reduced and the Junghans. And I think this Navitimer 92 in blue dial will be my third! Unfortunately I did not find it in Chrono 24. Would you be interested to sell me yours? 😁
I have always loved the navitimer but could never really connect with it like it like I have my speedmaster… the navitimer cosmonaut has caught my eye, probably for the same reasons the speedmaster did.
A vintage 806 isn’t big, I have a 6.5” wrist and it’s perfect. It wears identical to a speedy pro. I have the re-edition as well as a vintage cosmonaut and they are a pleasure to wear. In my opinion vintage Breitling is completely underrated and a complete bargain compared to equivalent brands.
@@WatchCrunchOfficial I would absolutely love to see some more Navitimer content, especially with your production skills. There is a real lack of it and I just absolutely adore this watch.
Great video as usual and a nice alternative version of the original Navitimer. What annoys me is that it uses the Eta 2894 like the Speedy Reduced. The chronograph module is not really servicable and must be replaced. This makes the service costs really expensive over time.
The intro was like a real TV show! Leveling up from an already high level 😎 great video!
Coming from the guy who makes better videos than watch commercials 😉. Thanks bud
Always love your videos! I didn't know there was a smaller navitimer. I'm going to check out and also figure out how slide rules work. Great work as always!
Yeah this was a rare find! But they are out there 🤓
This channel is going to end up costing me a bunch of money, I think. Had never seen this Breitling, the Speedmaster 38 or even really the Speedmaster reduced and now I’m saying to myself “Maybe I could get all 3… 🤔” Love your taste in watches; it’s introduced me to many cool, new pieces
Haha, this channel is costing me more 😉. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
Love this… such a well shot, considered video. Made me reconsider the Navi as an option. I’m loving my Avenger 43 GMT at the minute but it’s so “tooly” that it needs a dressier companion… great work
That would be a pretty kick-ass breitling one two combo 😎👍
Great video so well done. I’ve never been a Navitimer fan but this insightful video has provided a completely different perspective. Thank you.
I was in the same camp, until a friend introduced me to the 92!
This video changed my mind about the Navitimer. I’ve never been a fan but the 38mm is a tempting lure. Plus the blue is a little bit richer to me than the dark blue in the larger version. Great video!
Thanks Tony, yeah I wasn't a fan until I found this one 👍
Got this watch because of your video. LOVE IT. Finding a good watch for us with small wrists is hard. Thank you.
The best and most pure navitimer with modern elements. Whilst still retaining classic elements from the past.
I’ve tried a few Navitimers and this one has stuck with me. The size is perfect.
Yes my man, this one is magic!
I love the Navitimer and this is a beautiful version. It suits you well. Awesome video as always!
Thanks Chris, really hope rightly keeps making smaller watches!
Nice watch to highlight. You really made a compelling case and thought
provoking video for this particular Navitimer.
Cheers dude, thanks for the feedback!
Charming little watch and suits you really well. Love it. The size is perfect IMO. Cheers.
Thanks! My skinny wrist is happy 😊

The slight shake on the camera in the intro just confirms Max has collaborators on the channel - much better than not having any collaborators haha
Max ....You could be a good host in the TV station; next voice, moderate speaking speed. Amazing.
Never really into Navitimer or Breitling the dial is always too busy for me but this one you have is stunning and the blue dial looks smart. Fantastic job on the narrative as always; just enough information to spark interest and research more on our own. Thanks Kenny, I was also in the Navitimer denier camp until a friend had me try this one on. Now I'm a believer 😉
The dial is too busy only if you choose Arabic numerals
Breitling makes beautiful watches once in a blue moon. The Navitimer is one of them.
I never cared about watches until one day I saw a big ad with John Travolta infront of spitfire with an Navitimer. I've never seen a more beautiful watch and I knew I need to have it.
Shocked to see the price but it didnt stop me. A few years later I bought it when my daughter was born.

Beautiful watch, looks awesome on the wrist, perfect size, great review
Thanks! Appreciate that
Great watch and such a great size
One of those watches that just feel like it's a part of you 👍
Beautiful watch, great vid 👏🏻
Thanks! Appreciate you 👍
Thanks for this option 👍 you’ve find an answer to my question!
Dudeeee your content is cool. Keep up the good work bro. Much love
Thanks dude! Be well👍
Absolutely gorgeous watch Max.
Thanks Michael, she's a looker!
Great video and nice watch, thanks Max
Thank you for watching 😉
Nice watch indeed, thanks!
👍😎
Thanks for a great review!
Gorgeous watch !!!!

Good call! Yeah I remember hearing that about the gold dial, really hard to believe when it looks so even😲
The gold "version" of this watch was simply a blue one that had faded. They tend to fade like that it if worn hard in certain environments. There are several articles about it. But I don't think they ever made a gold dial one, correct me if I'm wrong.
Great content, great taste.
Thanks Jon, appreciate you 👍
Hi guys can someone answer me this. Does the watch have a "ghost date"? I borrowed my friend's Navitimer (A30022)
I think the 41mm Navi fits well on a smaller wrist. It wears a bit smaller for its size and is under 48mm lug tip to lug tip.
used to hate it but you've sold me on this version for sure!
Haha, glad to help 😉
Where can I find a good, reliable place to purchase one of these in decent condition?
Thanks a lot. Just to point out, there is also something called a Navitimer Airborne which has same case dimensions, but adds a date dial (not window) at 12...
What is the strap? I can't seem to find it! Increidble piece!
Great video - thanks!
Thanks Kieran 👍
Love the Navi. Have the 43mm Swiss air model.

You're welcome! I think this is still an undiscovered navitimer model that deserves more attention👍
Please forgive my lack of understanding. Is the telemetre scale in kilometres (seems logical) or miles?
I think it depends on where the watch was manufactured, kilometers here.
Great video. I'm one of those people that find the navitimer hard to love. The dials are just too busy for me.
Yeah I was in the same camp Bill, until this one😉
Damn, I love that watch.
She's a beaut!
Another great video Max. What is your wrist circumference? With such a thin bezel, this Navi looks to be all dial. Does it wear like a 38mm?
Thanks! I'm about 6.5". Yes it wears very much like stated size 👍
Well done!
Gratitude have I 😉

Yeah this is about the simplest looking navitimer 😁
Hey max. I was wondering can you point me in the direction where you got your navitimer from or where I can get one from? Thank you.
I actually have one for sale, send me a message on Instagram 😉
Hi Max, I'm recently checking out on the Navitimer line. I have a small wrist and therefore 38mm should be the perfect size.

I feel like you gotta go Chrono if you get a navitimer
@@WatchCrunchOfficial Thanks man!

Yeah the navitimer has nice compact lugs for us small wrists 👍
Very Cool! But I'm still waiting for the day you decide that you're selling your broad arrow speedmaster...
Haha, that one has made it into the permanent collection 😉
I am now a Navitimer convert.... thanks man!
That's what I'm here for😉. Thanks Caleb
A Navitimer that will fit my wrist, it's going on the want list Max 👍
Haha, this watch opens up doors 🤓
That watch looks great! I'm eyeballing the 43mm version, but what do you think about water resistance (30m)? Do you ever feel worried when washing your hands or are out heavy rains?
For sure Dennis, I take it off when I wash my hands. Pretty inconvenient 😬
Its good enough I shower with mine on bo problems just don't go swimming its not a dive watch its a flight watch!
I got the Speedmaster triple date last year and now it's time for my "reduced" navitimer ,😅
Nice!
😁👍
I got the 4 sub dial one. Its quite nice
So, Max. Is it strange that I put your Navitimer vid on loop while I worked on my mod? And I’m a meticulous (read: slow) modder, so I think I will be dreaming about the 38mm Breitling, lightning, thunder, mortars, and bombs tonight. Once again, well done review. Thanks!
Nothing makes me happier than to be the background noise for your modding 😉
Love the look but I ain't a chrono guy. But I could be tempted if wallet permits.
This watch changes minds 😉
This is the ONLY navitimer i could ever wear, because of the compact size.
Yes Kevin, it's a great fit 👌
I really love this Navitimer. I also have small wrist so I enjoy a lot your taste! Since I have started to watch your channel I have already bought 2 watches, the Speedy reduced and the Junghans. Congrats Paulo, send me a msg on Instagram 😉
If you still are on the look out just let me know, I have a full-set 🙂
Did you just fly your drone in NYC to get that birds eye view? That’s not allowed but kudos for just going for it.
I borrowed that drone footage 😁

Yeah, it was a friend who introduced me and it's blown my mind 🤓
The gold is a blue one having its color altered with age.
I have always loved the navitimer but could never really connect with it like it like I have my speedmaster… the navitimer cosmonaut has caught my eye, probably for the same reasons the speedmaster did.
24hr dial is a really cool idea 💡
I admire Breitling. Unfortunately, my scrawny wrist can’t handle a Navi…until this bad boy. Hope to find a nice one on eBay.
Yes, good luck with the hunt Michael 👍

i love my 806...
It's a classic, I tried one on the other day 👌
