I would have to lose my mind to buy from Watchfinder at their prices.

I’d happily own a A23322, but the latest re-editions aren’t really my cup of tea. As regards the classic ETA-based tricompax versions from 10 years ago (let alone the B01-based ones), I think prices have really gotten out of hands for what they are. So I happily leave them to the current in-crowd.

Yes but get an older one. Valjoux or the eta movements. They go up on value. The new ones dont ! I own a 2001 and its absolutely stunning. Doubled in value since I bought it new :) stunning thing to look at and wear, so comfortable. Just no water resistance which sucks.

I wanted Navitimer badly. But time passed and I got over it. Great watch, just not for me.

Confused by the comment, “straddling the Kitty Hawk” - Kitty Hawk is the name of a town near where the Wright brothers flew their “Wright Flyer” which was controlled by the pilot lying prone, not straddling.

Would be nice if you included the dimensions of the watches you cover. This seemed interesting to me until you mentioned the fragile plexiglass.

You said it, a watch made for pilots. i admire the piece, but it is too complicate for me. i like more simple things. still a great watch!

It’s good to see this model has a hour scale. I almost made up my mind, my Flightmaster was a better tool watch.

Just like everyone else's comments, I have always wanted this watch.
I always said to my wife, when I make Captain at a Major Airline (after many years of struggling, hard work and being flat ass broke), I am buying a Navitimer.
Well, the day is upon me. I want it to be a family heirloom. I'd like to think that some day, after I fly West, someone will wear it and say, "This was my Dad's watch. He wore it to work with pride everyday. Now, I do too."
The best part would be being a Dad....

Enjoy life, being dad is not everything....people expect too much. You dont know how your children will be or what the future will bring for you or your children. The world wont be a better place...
      .that is for sure.

Only if you want a watch with Incredible history, unique look and complications, that is somewhat exclusive as you won't see it hardly ever in the wild, comes from a company with real heritage, comes at a pretty fair price All Things Considered. If you like that stuff, the answer is yes, by one.
