  • @easybaby8547

    Hi , really well explained here. Just a question please. Are the RollPlay cars motors designed to handle 24v ? I currently have a ride on for my kid, which is not a Rollplay one. It has 2 x 12 v battery's in parallel not series. Was wondering if i can just rewire it to be in series ie 24V and upgrading the circuit breaker to 30 amps. Whats misleading on the ride on I got it says its 24V, but its actually just 2 x 12 v batteries , so it surely has more AH, but at 12V, so not sure if it better to run more Voltage ie 2 x 12 v = 24V (Series) at lower AH or 2 x 12v = 12V (Parallel) at Higher AH? And the Charger point is like them Aux microphone port type. But I am still not sure if the 4 motors on the ride on can handle the 24V. And will a drop in AH ie from 18AH to 9AH make any difference you think? Thank you

  • @wheelsonfireph
    @wheelsonfireph 2 роки тому +2

    It depends the value of the main controller board and the dc motor.
    If you will upgrade 12v - 24v without changing board and motors you will ruin your rideon car immediately!.
    It will run but it will burn in a few minutes.

    Quick question... Did you have an additional battery "retainer" bar (idk what it's supposed to be called, but it's the bar that goes over top of the battery and screws down on one side) for the other battery? If not, what did you use to hold down the battery?

    If you don't want to go through all the hassle of upgrading your charger, just swap your jumper wire between the batteries so they're in parallel instead of series. Then your 12v charger will charge two 12v batteries at once.

      Andrew Smith yes that’s true....not rated for it but that does not mean it does not work if you push it to 24v. Does it spin the motor faster? YES. Does it work? YES. Will it wear faster? YES.
