    Traditional foods and collective learning. Glad to see it. If u don’t harvest garlic it stems up(called scapes),and if u don’t harvest scapes it flowers to give pearly garlic seeds. Nature keeps growing,changing forms.

    Olives are great. Most doctor focus on the fruit and the processed end product but totally ignore the leaves and other parts of the plant that is completely edible.

    • @doctors_kitchen
      @doctors_kitchen  Рік тому +3

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the various edible parts of the olive plant. Some research suggests that olive leaves and other parts of the plant may have medicinal properties and could be used to treat a variety of health conditions. It's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider or a registered herbalist before using any herbs or supplements, and to be aware of the potential risks and interactions with medications.

    • @janetebenezer893

      That's what I always tell people that listen to UA-cam health talks that they should do their research to know if they are qualified to use it if they have any health condition. Many had died through this online health talks, they are not meant for everyone, though some of these Doctors will go to the extend of giving the details of people with certain health condition not to take it but majority of them don't. Just like you had mentioned that arthritis people can't be taking beans likewise people with kidney diseases but because they said beans is good, those with that condition will start taking them which may compound their problems.

    What about people with medical conditions i.e Chrones disease or people with their large intestines removed i.e peope with a stoma bag, does this still apply? As they dont obsorb suger or Salt they take dioralite to compensate, not having a large interestine you can't starve as you dont obsorb foods etc.

    What diets good for IBS ? PLEASE! G.I. Set up colonoscopy for two months away. Really!!? That’s a joke. Are colonoscopy dangerous? Meanwhile doctor said to increase my fiber intake. Meanwhile still dealing with pain every morning in lower left side of gut. Any other suggestions for the pain ?

    • @doctors_kitchen
      @doctors_kitchen  Рік тому

      Thank you for sharing your concerns about your IBS symptoms. Increasing fibre intake gradually and drinking plenty of water can help avoid bloating and discomfort. Keeping a food diary to track your symptoms and identify potential triggers, such as certain foods or stress, may also be helpful. There are several dietary approaches that have been shown to be effective for managing IBS, such as the low FODMAP diet, the soluble fibre diet, and the elimination diet. It's always a good idea to work closely with a healthcare provider or a registered dietitian to determine the best approach for your individual needs. As for the colonoscopy, it's important to discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider.
