Me too! My dog found him wounded in our backyard after a cat attacked him. I brought ours to a sanctuary pretty quickly though as they said cat attacks cause deadly infections. We befriended the crow though and named him Edgar Allen Crow

By rescuing Frankie and nursing him back to health, you've enabled him to live a full life, as wild as he chooses to be. You've also shown him the best in humankind. As smart as crows are, I wonder how much he conveys that information to other wild birds. Maybe your home will become a vacation destination for them!

There’s amazing stories about crows and ravens and their intelligence… but also their vengeance. They are ruthless if they see you as a threat and do not forget a face. They can also share the facial features and description of humans with their comrades… it’s truly amazing.
You are not a "cleaning lady" you are a "housekeeper of sparkling homes" and by the looks of this video you are a kindred spirit who gave an injured bird a second chance at life....lovely couple, lovely story!
Awesome story! I used to feed a crow family going on 4 years, but now there's a restaurant opening in the spot where I would feed them. Now they are not coming by anymore because of the construction. But I learned so much about crows in those 4 years. Very intelligent creatures.

Go to the crows, let them see the nuts, place some nuts on the ground or where you like, step away. The crows will then fly to the nuts, maybe they will stay and eat or they will fly away and hide the nuts and then quickly come back for more. If you feet them daily for some days, they will soon sit and wait for you every day.

I applaud you for letting the bird be free and outside. I had a pet crow when I was about 8 or 10 years old. (I'm 72 now). I found it at the base of a tree. It was not even totally feathered. The nest was about 35 feet up in a pine tree so no way to return it to the nest. We successfully raised it and it was a great companion. It could say a few words and mimic human sounds such as coughing. It was always free to come and go. I walked to my small country school just about a quarter mile away and it would hear the school bell for dismissal and fly down and meet me. Sorry for the long post. I could fill the page with stories. Great video.
