Feather went over the Rainbow Bridge! While she was here, she was best foster mom and BFF Sophia ever had. Her joy, her companionship and her love will be deeply missed. ❤😊
It is really sad when at the end of such a beautiful story it is said that the animal has died. Just before the end, I thought that the girl would have this birdie as a friend for the rest of her life.
Sad but at least FEATHER didnt die lonely, alone n neglected. That little girl will go on to love many more pets. As shes learned from FEATHER how its done. 😊❤
@arthurcharlesstewart4617 You are right...living (respectful and loving) with animals at a young age affects children for the rest of their lives. At least that was the case for me.
Feather was an ideal companion for Sophia. When she crawled, it became a game of follow the leader. When she napped, she cuddled in with her. Even when she pounded on the piano keys, creating what any human would call NOISE, Feather danced along enjoying Sophia's musical talent. They gave each other exactly what they needed!
I cried at the end when I knew Feather had already passed away. The baby must be heartbroken, but Feather's memory will be a part of her life, just like our childhood pets. We may forget about them sometimes since our live has become busy, but the compassion that they taught us will be forever in our souls. R.I.P to our beloved childhood pets. Till we meet all again.
You are right! I think it was such a beautiful gentle kind bond they had but so sad she passed on 🥺✝️🌈 at least they will always have the memories together and Sophie will see this video when she older one day and remember that Feather and her mother shaped her to be an amazingly lovely caring person to her pets and animals 💕🪽🙏
I forgot to say also that you are spot on 💯 with that too... Yes, until we met again 🙌 I can't wait to reunite with all of our childhood pets 💘 I miss them all so much and sometimes do forget as life does get very full on and hectic but when I finally do stop and take a break and slow down for a min I am reminded and remember when I see stuff like this straight away about them and I think of them all over again 🥹❤️🩹🫶🥰🙏✝️
Your words are so beautiful and truly resonate. The love and lessons our pets give us stay with us forever, even after they’re gone. 🕊️❤️ Feather’s memory will always live on in Sophia’s heart, just like our beloved childhood pets. Until we meet again. 🌈💖
@@CuddleBuddiesChannelThank you so much because without you people wouldn't have a place to show and talk about these beautiful bonds people and animal have with eachother or one another ❤️🙏
I’m so heartbroken to see that Feather is no longer with you. Thank you for showing such trust and faith in Feather and for allowing the incredible bond between her and your daughter to form. Bless ❤
@@CuddleBuddiesChannel I sorry Feather passed. I thought Feather would have a long life. May I ask what happened?? Birds of his breed have a long life span.., Thanks ❤️
Spouse is a Vet & birds like this can go very suddenly, especially if they have a stressful reaction at the Clinic. All prey animals in fact. No idea what happen to sweet Feather but potential owners need to know the risks of exotics.
This is pleasurable to watch even though the child is an infant she is gentle and caring with the bird

Very special story! I’m glad that she took and saved videos to share cause now we all got to know Feather’s and Sophia’s special friendship. Thank you! ❤
Oh my goodness I am so heartbroken for you and Sophia....I am sure that was so hard for her as well as you...I just lost my Baby Boy Topaz in September....he was a Lutino Cockatiel....he was only 7...and had no signs of illness ...I put him to bed one night and when I uncovered him the next morning he was gone....my heart aches for you...thank you so much for sharing Feather and Sofia with us...God Bless

❤ that's wonderful that you let the bird and the baby have that relationship the baby will remember it all of the babies life and the bird will remember it
I am so deeply saddened by your loss of Feather. It has been a joy to watch the interaction with your daughter. Thank you for giving Feather a beautiful and loving life in those last years and sharing that life with us. ❤🙏🏻🥰
The corvus and parrot families are the most remarkable animals on Earth (tied with several others, but I digress). They are so smart, inventive, and kind when treated with kindness. This beautiful bird knows responds to the baby's exuding of pure kindness and is healed.
So beautifully said! Birds like Feather show us just how intelligent and loving they can be when given kindness. 🕊️💛 Their ability to heal and be healed is truly remarkable. ❤️
It broke my heart to see this adorable little girl lose her beloved friend! I wasn’t expecting that😢 made me very sad.. I was hoping they would be friends for decades to come❤

Feather was loved and happy for the rest of her short life. I wish Feather could have stayed longer. The bond between your daughter and Feather was amazing.
Feather so gentle with your baby sooooooo loving. Sweet cockertoo. Feather 🪶 most gentle cockertoo I seen. Oh I have seen this before....feather past on sooooooo 😢sad. What a delightful 🐦 bird ❤❤❤❤
I always have to remind myself that these are, in fact, little dinosaurs. Which always has me questioning the mindless, raging portrayal of old T-Rex. What if they were actually more like this guy? 😂
Awwwwwww. Well first I'll get how Feather & Sophia are One Epic Cute/Adorable Duo & Luuuuv how Feather just was like a Magnet with Sophia. What cruel human would force a parrot to live in a BASEMENT with zero human interaction?!?! I’m shocked Feather didn’t pull all of her feathers out given that treatment 😢. Glad Feather got 3 joyful years at the end.
WHEN FEATHER WAS HERE?? SHE WAS A BLESSING TO SOPHIA!! THEY GOT A CHANCE TO PLAY TOGETHER AND LOVE EACH OTHER WHILE SHE WAS ON THIS EARTH!! NOW?? SHE IS LOOKING DOWN AND WATCHING OVER SOPHIA, EVERYDAY!! R I.P. FEATHER!!
Love this story and Feathers. I like looking at Feathers but unfortunately I am afraid of all birds. I was attacked by a very large old mean Tom turtle at the age of seven. I like looking at Cockatoos but I don’t enter a place where they are flying around in a closed environment. But I have learned from this that they have a motherly instinct. That’s good to know.,.however, I have watched a documentary from Australia where Cockatoos originated from that these birds are very destructive especially for Farmers . They attack in packs to tear of bags of grain and bags of feed to feed themselves. My sister had a Cockatoo in Queens, NY. She had an upper respiratory condition, COPD, congested heart failure and Rheumatic fever and the DOCTORS Treating her told her to get RID of the cockatoos. She had one big white one like the one in this video and two small ones. They all flew around loose in her house. Doctors told my sister that there is a peculiar virus 🦠 these Cockatoos carry. She didn’t get rid of them until she became very ill and ended up in the hospital. In an America unlike Australia, Cockatoos are great companions and friendly as pets.
The whole time I was watching this all I could see was the baby coming very close to accidentally killing Feather in every scene. I hope that's not actually what happened, but anyone watching this, you have to supervise interactions between young children and birds very carefully.
Feather lived a life with smiles, happiness and joy. The best retirement any senior can ask for.

Oh it’s so sad Feather died as they can live for decades. 😢😢😢
Parrots need a lot of interaction? So do toddlers! Perfect match!
Yep! Parrots are like toddlers with feathers haha
Feather was ABSOLUTELY a spirit Mother to sweet Sophia, on this side & the next! 🙏🕊️🌈

❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why did she only live another 3 years :(
The cockatoos live like 40 to 60 years.
Probably due to previous neglect had become frail per se. Unable to live up to the Far end of a parrots lifespan. Not uncommon.
@alphaomega5909 animal abusers are just pure evil and cold-hearted.
I’m so sorry for your loss and for your daughters. Those kind of birds cockatoo’s live over 50 years, what happened to her? Thank you. 😢
If we are really lucky our siblings are not always same species as us
