He's not dumb, just has a super unique personality!
Yeah, the title sounds wrong. Still a puppy at heart!
I agree and 🥰 cuteness overload with big heart.
It's okay to be dumb lol
He’s not dumb he’s goofy
Exactly.
Why can’t dogs live as long as humans 😭 they give us such joy, such unconditional love, and the most support a human can handle.
Because we don’t deserve it, yet.
@@Malkumecks Yeah. Probably the truth there. The kitties too.
It's heart breaking when we lose our furry friends but I'd rather have that heartache than have the thought that they might not be cared for properly after we're gone.
Excuse me? Literally every claim you just made is patently false and absurd. Dogs are predators. Genetically mutated predators with centuries of inbreeding. Not only are they predators by nature, which by default they’re incapable of empathy or love. That’s a scientific fact, that emotionally unstable humans misinterpret as love when in reality they’re witnessing confusion and parasitic behavior and begging for food. Not love🙄
Two. How can a animal that’s incapable of logic or reason, communication and lacking the intelligence to disregard it’s own feces and vomit…. How can THAT possibly give humans emotional support?
Three: dogs are the only pets on earth that must be trained and socialized to curb their natural behavior in order to make them suitable and less dangerous in the home. Explain how a creature in its natural mindset that would attack mutilate and kill humans on sight is somehow mans best friend. That’s such a bunch of illogical nonsense and complete fabrication. Who are you trying to convince anyways? The rest of society or yourselves lol
Dogs are responsible for nearly 16 thousand attacks per day on humans and kill someone every ten days on average. Unconditional love and support. You ppl are deranged whack nuts and liars, and your worthless shit beasts are nothing but a health and safety hazard and a menace to the rest of civilized society.
Just think about all the animals out there that are in need of a safe, loving home. If our pets lived as long as we did then the amount of animals in need of a home would increase dramatically because people can only have so many animals at one time. Also the amount being euthanized would increase because of no room in the shelters. I wish they could all live longer too, but l also think about how many I've been able to have because they don't. It's a bittersweet situation. 💜💔💜
That dog is a comedic genuis! Anyone who can't see that, is the one that's not too bright. That dog is extremely bright! Look at the laughter he brings!
Duncan is a smart boy with a precious soul and demeanor!
I lost when he mounts on the statue and drinks water. LOL so adorable.
That part had me cracking up.
Yeah till I smack the owner for the drinking fountain part imagine taking my kids to the park and some fkn dog owner lets there dog lick the drinking fountain thats ok is it ???
@@adriank7796 He won’t be the only dog to drink from it.
Unless it’s your property, you have no more right to use it than anyone or anything else. To drink out of it or not is your choice.
It wouldn’t harm anyone. It’s not like letting Children share a dog’s water bowl.
Worse things happen in a fountain.
@@msmilano7091 wouldn't harm any one? Lol someone needs to learn about germs bacteria lol your pre much saying eating shit is ok for the human body and im guessing you feed your kids and your self from the dog bowl just nasty I have 10 dogs and I can tell you its not safe in any form to eat or drink from anything a dog has licked
@@adriank7796 You sound pathetic re:what I said about the dog bowl. You know what I said & what I meant.
If you don’t want to drink from the fountain don’t….but if someone wants to let their dog drink from it, it’s a public fountain.
Drunk people have probably peed on that very same fountain many times over.
Fountains are Pitri dish of germs before the dogs get near it.
Would anyone drink, or let their kids drink from a fountain after seeing a dog drink from it? No, but it’s nobody’s place to get upset with an owner for giving their dog a drink, that was my point here
Every person is different. Only YOU know when your ready to bring home another pet after one has passed away. For some people it's the next day, for others it's years. For me, it was 9 months after my first Pomeranian passed away. Our hearts let us know when we're ready. 💕 Hugs to Duncan and his Mom. 💖
Agree. Warm 🤗
So true. I had to wait 3 years before being comfortable enough to let go of ol' Marlowe the Standard Poodle & accept a Coltrane the Standard Poodle. It was a long & lonely time.
Yes, that is true. After my sweet little dog passed away I said that was the last pet I would have. Then a couple of years later a cat followed me home and parked herself at my front door. So that was over 11 years ago and at this moment she is sleeping all cuddled next to me. I didn't think there would ever be a time to bring home another pet, but fate had other ideas. You never know.
@@dina113east SHE chose YOU, as is a cat's right when they find 'THE ONE' they want, you in her case.
@@FO_Biggles I lost my miniature poodle about a month ago. I have never felt this level of pain before. I have had 3 other dogs but this boy was special. Sorry for your loss but your story gives me hope this stage might eventually end.
Not so dumb. He found you and a wonderful forever home! He seems like most rescue, a true charmer. Thank you for rescuing him!
Absolutely loved the owner’s narration. The way she noticed and observed things in a great detail about him, intelligent yet emotional. The way she put it into words, eloquent yet polite.
I was going to write some thing but I don’t think there’s anything better to say than what you’ve written. Thanks!
I love his sounds and that he has his own kitty. ❤
I’m not a dog lover in the traditional sense. I talk mad shit to animals. But my tone doesn’t match the things I’m saying. That translates to play time for a dog. 😄🤷♂️
So if this was my dog, and I was narrating…it would probably be a different video in alotta ways but might just end up being cuter than this one.
My favorite thing to do is reach to the sky like I’m trying to grab something, then bring that hand all the way down on the dogs back. If we’re already playing like that. Usually translates into some pretty hard core zoomies.
My buddy has a little runt of a beagle…and dude loses his gadam mind whenever I go over there. Like…if he sees me coming up the sidewalk he throws a fit and terrorizes everyone in the house letting them know his buddy is coming to the door an to let him in!
I couldn't have said it better
@@Gir-Riff-raffewhooaaa you sound disturbed. You sound like an animal abuser. Why the hell would you want to bring your hand down so high and so hard on a dogs back? And you say you talk mad shit to them? You sound like an animal hater. If you abuse an animal and cause suffering, that is a felony, and you could be facing jail.
That beagle? It’s not excited to see you, it’s scared stay away from that beagle.

I have a weird dog like this I rescued, part pitbull, she says "wooooo" when she is really happy, she knows it makes me smile and laugh at her, she likes making me happy, I see it in her face, and if I go away for a few hours she literally cries when I walk in the door. Everyone should adopt a shelter dog, your life will be better.
I so agree with that statement! Shelter animals are great. We got my grandma’s dog from a shelter. She was already an adult and she’s been in there for a while I think… (people need to give adult and senior dogs more chances) But she was just the greatest. Whenever she would get excited she would do her little happy dance. Basically she was spinning around 6-7 times pretty fast without stopping. If she didn’t get what she wanted after that happy dance and had to wait more, she would do another happy dance, but a little shorter (4-5 spins). She would keep doing short happy dances until she got what she wanted. She also loved to play soccer and was pretty good at it! She could even lead the ball and do some tricks - she would act like she was going to give me the ball or let it roll down the hill but then she’d put her paw on it and stop it or kick it backwards! 😁 Such a silly girl she was. She died peacefully last year, she was at least 11. (We don’t know how old she was, but she was over 1 when we got her and spent 10 years with us, so at least 11.) We knew it was coming because her teeth and coat really started to show her age, she also got tired after 5-10 minutes of playing unlike before when she could go for hours, instead she would just lie down and enjoy pets and even fall asleep while I was petting her. So it wasn’t a surprise when she didn’t wake up one morning. It was still sad, but… at least she had a life much better than what that tiny shelter cage could offer. :) She was a great little doggo, very loyal, happy and grateful, adopting her was so worth it, even if it “only” lasted a decade- that was a decade’s worth of smiles and laughter with her. Everyone should experience the love and gratitude a shelter animal gives. ❤️
May you have many many years filled with laughter and happiness with your adopted little doggo as well! 😊

You don’t realize how smart he is . Pits are some of smartest & most loyal dogs in the world. I raised them thru the 80s&90s & have had one all my adult life until 2017 until my best friend my love of my heart my family Chica passed away at 15 yrs. No pit could ever replace her she’s deeply missed & Chica was one of my smartest dogs ever. Now I have 2 little mutts & the 1st one I got a lady I know called me the same day Chica passed & asked would I take her lil dog Missy & I did. Then on the very day I list another pup I’d had for several yrs passed, my sons friend called & asked me on the same day Felix passed would I take jack, that blows my mind. So God replace my 2 sweethearts with 2more sweethearts the same days I lost 2 I gained 2

I'm trying to figure out why she didn't think he was smart. Since when does quirky mean not bright? He's intuitive and I would call that pretty intelligent.
@@shazookeemoon she says that maybe he is smart! i woundnt spend so much time on that!
@@shazookeemoon define smart? When I observe dog behavior it’s readily apparent these animals have only a few brain functions on tap. One being obsessed with finding food, and the other being obsessed with saturating every surface with the smell of its urine and feces. I find it fascinating how you ppl describe these animals as smart or loving or like angles sent from heaven lol really? Angles ? You think god sent angles in the form of a dog with chronic anal leakage to come and saturate your entire home with stench and fecal matter as a means of looking out for humans? It’s just so bizarre and embarrassing on its face that you ppl would have the audacity to say all these things about these worthless creatures despite witnessing the unsanitary unstable invasive and often aggressive behavior of these creatures. I just find it disturbing that you all witness these creatures on a regular basis and still never come to the logical conclusion that these things are not suitable and totally unacceptable to be walking around freely in human territory. The statistics of dog attacks on humans, mostly on children too btw, that alone is glaring evidence enough that having a mutated predator in your home is a health and safety hazard and is in direct conflict with basic human intelligence.
So I guess what I’m saying is people who have these things in their homes are unintelligent and just as uncivilized as their worthless mutts. Those conditions are a requirement for someone to find this lifestyle acceptable. Because nobody of basic intelligence would find this lifestyle attractive. I cannot picture how someone would see a dog sniffing someone’s crotch or licking the ass of another dog, sniffing out a pile of feces on the ground and then eat it or piss on it. Only to see the next dog and the next dog take turns pissing and sniffing the same spot…. Only to say to themselves “ohhh he’s so cute and so smart, I can’t wait to have that thing roaming around my home” 🙄🤷🏻♂️ lol wtf
That he's so quirky and unique is probably rather proof that he's smart, we can't look at dogs intelligens like humans.
It is when we have finally reached the point, when we live in love and harmony with our fellow animals on Earth, that we can say, we have reached our humanity.
Duncan has a unique personality. Society in general is too busy putting labels on people and animals, though at times the labels are just too harsh and judgemental. The narrator forgets the labels and just lets Duncan be the real character that he is and to be quite honest, his light is being one very bright and smart personality within the body of a pooch.

I just love how every pit has their own quirky personality with some funky habits but they are almost ALWAYS a Big Love that likes to snuggle and be with their people. I love it, a pittie who doesn’t like dogs but loves cats😻
My pittie is scared of cats because when she tried to say hello to a stray it scratched her so now she is scared of all cats. It does not help that our neighbors cat always wants to try to hang out with her
What an awesome dog. How could you not love him!! He got a great home which is so good to see. I love that his best friend is a cat.
What a wonderful story ❤️ I just lost my 16 year old. Dog 2 months ago...hoping I'll be ready someday, to rescue and love another one.
It was nice when she realised how smart he was when describing him! Duncan’s a good boy!
Who’s a good boy?! 🦴🦮🥺
I love it when a pitte gets a fur ever home and is able to adapt, even with a kitten-that is a huge win, they have serious prey drive. so beautiful.
Oh my gosh. He’s a big teddy bear. Thank you for saving him. ❤❤❤❤
He is simply adorable and not dumb at all, on the contrary. Love him and his friend the cat. Thank you for having adopted him !!!
omg he is so handsome, plus he has the best mama and sibling.
He's a beautiful dog in more ways than one..😊❤
What a GREAT dog ! He’s very lucky to have you.
Fun baby, he has a very sweet face. God bless 🌹
The kitty's totally adorable too. 🐾
I wish we found him and love him and cuddle.
