Great video! Here are some more examples that I remember: - Most of Max Payne 3 is setted on Brazil - A chapter of Red Dead Redemption 2 is setted on a cuban island - There are a lot of GTA gangs from Latin America such as: Diablos (Puerto Rico), Cartel (Colombia), Cubanos (Cuba), Haitianos (Haiti). Also, there are a lot of characters, such as Elizabeta Torres, Mallorie Bardas, Manny Escuela and Juan Garcia Cortez (supposedly from Argentina or Panama) - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is setted on the Caribbean, and you visit places like Cuba - Call of Duty Ghosts is setted in countries like Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, etc - The L.A. Noire's chapter "The Consul's Car" where you investigate who stole the argentinian consul's car - Tropico, a whole saga where you play as the president of a fictional nation located in the caribbean and have a lot of mentions of real latin american countries
Muy bueno el video. Felicidades! DuckTales y Ninja Gaiden tienen escenarios allí

The indie RPG Cris Tales was made by Colombian studios called Dreams Uncorporated and Syck. I like that the title is a play on words or cristales since the protagonist Crisbell uses crystals to power her magic. And the architecture in game is also Colombian inspired. I think for the most part it isn’t fully clear the party’s heritages but one of the main characters Cristopher had a father named Armando. It had performance issues on last Gen platforms but man I still loved it
Like in another comment, I'm also sad to not seeing a lot of chilean representation in your video, but also I think that you missed other topics that are worth to mention like fictional racing tracks (either arcade or sim-arcade) or FPS maps (either in single or multiplayer). Good examples (at least for Chilean representation) are Giant Statues track in Outrun 2 (resembles Easter Island including Poike's volcano), all the Chilean tracks in Driveclub (which are good representations to be honest), the Horizon Chase Turbo and Top Gear 2 tracks, some multiplayer maps in Battlefield Bad Company 2 (Valparaiso, Arica Harbour, Islas Inocentes and Atacama), Lazos Rotos campaign mission in COD Ghosts (also in the Atacama desert), the Mapuches and the Chilean army in Age of Empires III, Kemen Vazquez in 1080° Avalanche and in SOCOM Fire Team Bravo there's a chilean person speaking chilean. I know there0's more representation in other countries that maybe are missed here, but I hope to see them in a next video :D
Chile is filled with the children of Nazis who fled trial for their atrocities. They were welcomed by the populace that was comprised of White Supremacists, and Black/Indigenous who were suffering from racial Stockholm syndrome/internalized racism.

I'm a bit surprised you've not heard of Lienzo. For those not in the know they are a Mexican developer with their biggest games being Mulaka based off the Taramuhara people of Northern Mexico and there more recent title Aztech. But given this video is a year old maybe you've heard of these and may be planning another video. I'm not complaining or anything like that. Being half Latino myself I'm happy I found some like minded individuals who were looking for representation of their people.
The only Videogame character i know related to Costa Rica is Paz Ortega from metal gear solid Peace walker and i said related because I'm not sure if she's Costa Rican or just a spy from another country

Jackie Welles from Cyberpunk? The guy cares a lot for his family and most importantly he has a lot of Latino influence in both the way he speaks and his mom Mama Welles speaks in Latin plenty With the Bar his family owns being Le Coyote
One of my favorite games is Bad Company 2 and I think it has the best multiplayer maps ever and most of them are based on actual places in Chile, also the Panama Canal is in it, also u see favelas a lot in FPS games Modern Warfare 2 and Rainbow Six Siege, and Max Payne 3 was set almost entirely in Brazil, and I think there was a Panama Canal mission in that too
There was one old game that I noticed wasn't in this video: Inca for DOS (and the ill-fated Philips Cdi). While the game is really clunky, and the sequel more so, it tries to show Native American representation through the Quechua language. The plot was also really weird. This golden man named "El Dorado" gets summoned by Huayana Capac and fights Spanish conquistadors in space.

I hope you make a follow-up video to this one that mentions "Max Payne 3." It features a large part of its story in Latin American locales such as Brazil and Panama. I'd like to see what you think of that game. By the way, a remake of the first two "Max Payne" games is going to be made soon, in case you're a fan of the series.
Whenever you make the sequel, id love to see you talk about all the references in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet
And That’s Why Jetstream Sam is the Best Character in Metal Gear’s History (Just After Snake, Of Course)
heeey~ I'm really interested of making a interview with you, claro hablo español y pues soy banda mexicana, no por la fama sino que tus POVs están bien cool, keep up the good work with your videos ♡
Yooo! Sure I'd love to I'm very interested to hear your offer
You can contact me through DMs on Twitter, there's a link to it in the description, or there's also my mail in the channel's description, looking forward to hear you out
neta muchisimas felicidades !!!!!!! MI UA-camR FAVORITO
Came from your Facebook page. Decent stuff
With Grim Fandango, Max Payne 3, Tropico and many GTA instalments missing from both videos, subject feels touched so briefly as if it was made on fuck off basis.
I don’t know if you’ll read this but here are some extras you kinda forgot
-Donkey Kong ruins and temples
-El chip from five nights at Freddy’s
-Hawlucha from Pokémon XY
(I’ll try to edit more because that’s all I have)
As a Puerto Rican, I remember that when we watched spider verse, my ma was hyped about him being Puerto Rican. I didn't see it at first but seeing all the details and his mom being outright Puerto Rican herself, yeah i see it
Gracias por hacer este gran video!
By the time that this video came out, Isla 🇨🇱 for King of Fighters XV was announced
Great video buddy!
In rainbow six siege there are two brazilian characters: caveira and capitão, as well as a map named favela, also there's a mexican character
You kindo forgot about some characters like Loba from Apex and Jimenez from smt and some games like , Fc 6 that is based in Cuba and the one with most representation Grim Fndango; other than this was a good video.
Dude, you really made a lot of homework for this one. Awesome job!
ps.: i F@CKING HATED Eddie when playing Tekken 3. It's a nightmare to play against him.
No joke, it was a whole week of doing research, keeping constant contact with my friends from other countries and writing the script at the same time.
Easily the most difficult video to make, but I'm super satisfied with the final product
from fighting games, we also have Foxy from KOF2001. She's from Venezuela.
Jackie Welles from Cyberpunk?
The guy cares a lot for his family and most importantly he has a lot of Latino influence in both the way he speaks and his mom Mama Welles speaks in Latin plenty
With the Bar his family owns being Le Coyote
My favourite Latin American representation has been and will always be Luigi in Melee. You simply cannot argue otherwise
One of my favorite games is Bad Company 2 and I think it has the best multiplayer maps ever and most of them are based on actual places in Chile, also the Panama Canal is in it, also u see favelas a lot in FPS games Modern Warfare 2 and Rainbow Six Siege, and Max Payne 3 was set almost entirely in Brazil, and I think there was a Panama Canal mission in that too
Sonic in a llama gives me life
In mgs pw they talked about chilean wine
40 minutos 😨😨😨👏🏼 soy fan
Ay que guapo el gameshelf con sombrero
Nomas me falto el zarape jiji
Excellent video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed both of them!!!
I’m surprised that maractus, and ludicolo in Pokémon, and ponchomon in Digimon were all overlooked
In CoD Ghosts, Caracas is an important place both plot-wise and gameplay wise!
Tectoy also managed to make an port of Street Fighter 2 for Master System
Duuude I can't believe Tropicalia didn't make it to the list! Hope you get to see this comment and have a look at that Brazilian RPG
To be fair nobody brought Tropicalia to my attention, but I can definitely keep an eye out for it perhaps for a future video
Top quality video lad
There was one old game that I noticed wasn't in this video: Inca for DOS (and the ill-fated Philips Cdi). While the game is really clunky, and the sequel more so, it tries to show Native American representation through the Quechua language. The plot was also really weird. This golden man named "El Dorado" gets summoned by Huayana Capac and fights Spanish conquistadors in space.
I recommend Life is Strange 2, it features two Mexican brothers as the main protagonists and they're on their journey to Mexico. Best game ever.
Good joob, great video. 👏👏

Cris tales is game made by colombian people and its settle in a fictional city based on cartagena, check it out, it a JRPG
Además el equipo que hizo rythm doctor y a dance of fire and ice es de perú
I remember that all the Mexican npcs on (2010) Red Dead Redemption sound like Puerto Rican dudes, go figure.
7:15 its actually because of south brazil that they add this skin to kung-lao
Niiiiice job maaaaaann!!!!!
