AFTER hitting breaking point and tipping the scales at 414lbs, a mother-of-five dropped an astonishing 234lbs in just 14 months. Following her dramatic transformation, Noelle was left with loose baggy skin on her arms and around her belly which the 38-year-old admits initially caused her some insecurities. Although proud of her physique the mother from Nashville, Tennessee chose to have transformative surgery that would remove the excess skin following her drastic weight loss. Describing the procedure as ‘life changing’, months after her surgery Noelle is now enjoying a fresh lease of life with her brand-new body. Follow her on Instagram: / transforming_noelle

Yes it would be better than cadaver skin, which is often used for burns patients, because it’s living skin and if it can be immediately frozen on removal then won’t be decayed at all.

Would they accept the belly skin full of stretch marks?
      How much is skin removal?

@@miss_shaant That you'd have to ask medical professions...tho, I serious doubt a burn victim who desperately needs skin would care. I doubt anyone whose been seriously burnt would care what color that skin is either. Until my (now late sister as she died 💔 from a different cause, non-related) sister told me about this I didn't know you could transfer skin from 1 person to another. I've been badly burnt in just a 4" square area & just can't imagine how painful that would be to have burns on much more of one's body....burns are so very painful. Any means to assist another would be a gift, I would think. ❤

@@miss_shaant I used to be a pediatric burn nurse. the skin is stretched, thinned, flattened, it can be used in sheets or meshed, kind of like fish netting if there is a big area to cover over the burned area. burn patients have so many scars regardless of where the skin comes from. I do not think the stretch marks would show much once it was prepped, but there is still a lot of scarring. but it does saves lives. skin is the biggest organ on our body and we don't realize all it does until it's gone.

Many people say that we need to love ourselves in any size. That’s true.
However, losing weight in a healthy way is the real form of self love. I believe if we are around ideal weight, we will have healthier metabolism and the organs will work better as well. It is for a better life not just appearance.
Never use ‘self-love’ as reason for eating and living carelessly.

I was 392 last July. I started by eating low carb. It has really helped. I've dropped 65 lbs. I'm working with a dietician to keep me accountable. At first I did only a week of low carb. No bread, pasta, sweets, cereals, fruit, beans, etc. I felt better. I started researching recipes that I liked & making the food. Slowly the weight started coming off & I continued to eat low carb. Morning starts off with bacon & eggs! Plus, no exercising! I'm hoping that once I drop another 40 lbs that I will be able to move better. Good luck to you.

Your comment was the first I read, & before I even scrolled down I just KNEW people would be on his case. How sad that we live in a society where people think they have a right to dictate to others how they should live their own lives & how they should look. We do not know him, this documentary was on *her* & her journey alone. For all we know he *has* lost weight & is continuing to do so at his own pace, but even if he isn’t, people need to back off. From a fellow ‘fat persons’ point of view, body shaming someone & dictating sends someone in the OPPOSITE direction, it isn’t remotely helpful. People need to mind their own. This is precisely why I just can’t stand videos of any nature that contain larger people on the barcroft channel because it really brings the ugly people out of the wood work.

Ooh, I am 50 and I struggled for 10 years to lose weight. I just assumed it was because of my age because I had never struggled to lose weight when I was younger (my weight has gone up and down since the age of 10!). Now I am on a Weight Watchers diet and the weight is coming consistently off almost effortlessly. I think it’s just a matter of finding a diet that works rather than being too old to lose weight. As we become older I believe we need less food because we are less active than in our youth. But with Weight Watchers, knowing I can have as much fruit as I want and it doesn’t count helps me conquer that feeling of being deprived.
By the way, now I am 50 myself I definitely don’t consider it as being old!

What I've discovered personally and what's clear here too is that we don't have to rush to the gym to lose weight - FIRST learn to eat properly then the desire to exercise will kick in later. Most people try to cut out sugar and exercise simultaneously which just leaves them tired and hungry and they lose hope and give into emotional eating. Well done to this woman, what an amazing transformation ie not a crash diet situation, a lifestyle change, love it 🤗💯

One step at a time, when you're big you can loose weight just be eating well, then you need the exercise to keep going. Best not to exhaust all your tools right from the start :)

I am so proud of her. I started my first diet at 14 years old. Over the years I tried every single diet on television and some others that weren’t. I had success with a couple of diets but I always gained the weight back. I then had gastric bypass surgery and almost lost my life as the surgery didn’t go well. I managed to stay at 200lbs. for awhile until I got sick. Now my weight is up again and I have no desire to try another diet. I just try to drink alot of water and stay away from sweets. I am not happy at this weight, but I have resigned to it. So please don’t make remarks about people’s size because you never know what they are going through. ❤️

Blackwood 5225 You need to go to therapy and get your mind right, if gastric bypass failed ( like it almost always does) it’s because you are overeating and eating the wrong food.

@@codename495 Then I must be an anomaly. I was morbidly obese and I have Sickle Cell Disease. I gained 175# after medically withdrawing from University. My highest weight was 375# I would lose weight, but never got below 280#.I prayed for years and finally took a leap and had gastric bypass May 6, 2015. Today I weigh 175# and when I am working out routinely, I drop to 162#. I am 45 yars old and 5'10" and a half.
I have maintained my weight for nearly three years. The true testament lies around ten years post surgery. I know people that have had bariatric surgery only to backslide into excuses and gain all they lost and then some. I would be so angry with myself if I were to allow myself to gain back all the weight. I gained all of that weight after beng diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease. I became inactive. I battled depressions. The medications I took slowed my metabolism. Then when I get sick, I could be in hospital for seven to fourteen days. I would order my trays and usually had two servings of most menu items. I ate my feelings and some days I would only eat once a day. I was not healthy. I had to do better if I wished to be here to help raise my nieces. My brother also got me puppy. I did not think I could handle a puppy. My Shih Tzu, Mike Jones had just passed earlier that morning.
My nieces and Otis were my motivation to change things. I had to practice what I was preaching. I am so grateful to have such beautiful friends and family. All I got were sentiments of encouragement and strength.
People fail to truly understand that weight loss surgery creates a tool. That tool comes with instructions. Some follow the instructions, others ignore them. It is not a magic bullet. Also, I learned weight loss is 80% diet and only 20% exercise. I hear people say their surgery was not effective because of an injury that kept them from working out. That's just an excuse to practice bad eating habits again. It works but only if you work it.
The mind has to be ready, in order to lead the body.

I have to disagree. While she looks awesome....I would not have wanted that vertical scar on my stomach. I had a breast reduction and tummy tuck 5 years ago. My scar is horizontal and it is below my bikini line. You can't even tell that I had anything done when I wear a swimsuit. It just depends on how good your surgeon is...you get what you pay for.
