A DRAMATIC weight loss transformation has changed the life of a woman who was once so big she could “barely move”. Wendy Miller, of Loves Park, Illinois, weighed 430 pounds at her largest, but after losing 188 pounds, she was left with an incredible amount of excess skin. The stay-at-home mum underwent her first skin removal procedure this year and is now down an incredible 220 pounds. Wendy told Barcroft Studios: “In the beginning I never thought I could have lost this much weight. I tried for so long and I gave up so many times but I don’t know something about this time, I just did it.

@@alexkachok8812 That kind of weight gain usually happens over time . Processed food in general tends to be more calorie dense and less filling . Some people put on weight more easily than others and there can be an emotional component . In short its complicated .

I got a penniculectomy after weightloss and ended up with flesh eating disease. I've been ill ever since. My abdomen was rotting from the inside out three days after surgery. I had daily nursing care and a vacuum dressing for a year. I was hospitalized three times. By far the worst experience I have ever gone through. I'm glad this worked for her. She deserves it after all that hard work.

*I can relate to this so much! I have lost a total of 230 lbs and am just now starting the process of skin removal surgery. I am going for my first consult in February and hoping to have my extra skin removed by fall of 2020 some time! My highest weight was 392 lbs and I am now down to 162 lbs ^.^ I couldn't lose this weight on my own though. I had RNY gastric bypass on March 2nd of last year (2018). I have tried so hard so many times to do it just by diet and exercise and ended up losing and gaining over and over. I needed this extra tool to help give me the restriction and the reset that I needed. Thankfully THIS is the only thing that has FINALLY worked for me! I documented my entire journey and plan to document my skin removal surgery too! This was the BEST decision I have EVER made in my life! I am finally looking forward to the future. I now HAVE a life! After bills to keep a roof over my head and two modest grocery shopping trips, am out of money. Even $5 is great to have at the end of the month. The woman in this video attributes her weight loss to expensive services that are indeed a luxury. Getting her excess skin removed is a luxury. Even a gym membership is a luxury. That's what OP is saying here.

I’m so proud of this woman, she hated the way she looked like, she wanted to change, she wanted to look like totally different person from her original form. Even though she had some mental breakdowns here and there, she never GAVE UP, she had the WILL. She had friends, family and trainers help motivate her. She is so grateful for everyone who helped her. Sometimes, all you gotta do, is just believe you can be who you wanna be and, most of the time, IT WORKS.
Don't pay attention to nasty comments, you're doing something for your wellbeing & the fact that you're going to the gym is a big plus just don't stop.

Oh my god!! I used to weigh 450 lbs from a medical issue and lost 300 lbs. my skin looks nothing like this and I’m almost 50. I could get away with noninvasive skin tightening and be fine. I don’t even have wrinkles...just looks like I’m chunky. So all you people out there who are afraid to loose weight seeing this...don’t be afraid. You might not have this issue and there are options to help your skin. Good luck!! 😘

Diet and proper hydration play an integral role she looks extremely tired and her weight loss resembles that of those who have bariatric surgery. Typically those who exercise and loose it normally their skin retracts and it’s slow enough for the body to adjust naturally.
Her weight loss resembles people that loose weight too quickly and that’s why they have the loose saggy fat skin.
Obese to beast on UA-cam has loose skin and what is shown as loose skin in this video is not loose skin but saggy loose fatty skin. That can be fixed with proper diet, hydration and the addition of intermittent fasting. She looks very sick and typically those who have bariatric surgery and do not change their diets that is the appearance they present.
There is a video posted to this account of a man half the weight he used to be when he shows his loose skin and when you look and his and hers it’s obvious that what this video is labeling as “loose skin” is still excessive fat that is hanging loose. Remember fat cells expand and contract. What happens when the fat is lost quickly and the cells do not shrink? SAGGING....Her weight loss is too quick and the body is not going through the shrinking mode. This happens normally and naturally in healthy weight loss. You can even see the periods when you shrink. It won’t show on the scale at times but when you tape your self and take measurements you see the shrinkage.
@@jackseve She lost a huge amount of weight, it takes time to tighten up, and some of it wont go away if you are older or were as big as she was. The guy with just skin still has a huge amount he just doesn't have fat with it, watch him pull it outward.

She has done a remarkable job, and I truly hope she is able to continue on her positive, healthy journey. I do hope that her surgeons gave her a Heads Up about lymphedema, a condition that can be caused whenever lymph nodes are removed for any reason. Our lymph nodes are very close to the surface of our skin, and any time some are removed, it can cause the remaining lymph nodes to not be able to flush fluids properly. I know about this because I had a bilateral mastectomies 10 years ago because of breast cancer. They had to remove several lymph nodes in order to check to see if they had cancer in them, and I now have lymphedema. Over the years, I have been amazed at how many people have surgeries where lymph nodes get removed, but they are not told about the possibility of lymphedema.
wow!!! this is so inspiring☺☺my husband and me are on a weightloss journey ourselves to lose 45kg(100lbs) each, we love life and doing fun stuff together but unfortuantly we love eating to..... and we realized if don't do something now we are not going to grow old together and that makes me sad😪we are each other's biggest support system and that helps a lot. its taking longer than i thought it would, but I'm sure we will get there!!!!

Lots of people have told me that if I can't lose the weight it's because I don't want it hard enough..... I'm close to 300 now I just want to go back to 250 I am trying to eat healthy and exercise. I don't worry about loose skin because I don't really believe that I could ever lose 100 pounds. It's amazing that she lost over two hundred! Someone tell me, what is the final piece that falls into place that you can finally do it?
